Services are Friday, Jul. 17, 2015 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 420 S. 10th St. Silsbee, TX. Visitation will be from 12Noon until funeral at 1 P.M.. Interment will be in Houston National cemetery, Houston Jul. 21, 2015, 11:30AM Gate Time.

Cherishing his memories are spouse: Geraldine Mishaw and a host of other family and friends.

Maples

Cathy Ann Bible Maples, 49, of Cleveland, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland. A graveside service will be held at 2:15 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Houston National cemetery in Houston. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Cathy was born February 4, 1966 in Houston, to parents; James F. and Sarah E. West Bible, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Cleveland for the past 42 years. She was a graduate of the Cleveland High School class of 1985 and was a caregiver. She held membership in the VFW Post #1839 Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered with the Scenic Loop VFD. She also enjoyed shopping, quilting, and movies.

Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her brother: James Richard Bible. She is survived by her husband of 24 years: David Wayne Maples of Cleveland, daughters: Shenna Louise Ann Brooks and husband John of Splendora, Julie Ann Lee and husband Kyle of Conroe, and JoAnna Marie Carol Sterling and husband Robert of Evergreen, stepdaughter: LaQuetta Jeanne Ann Young of Henderson, parents: James F. and Sarah E. West Bible of Cleveland, brothers: Danny Paul Bible of Livingston, John Mitchell Bible of Tennessee, and Joseph Franklin Bible of Deer Park, sisters: Linda Carol Maples of Round Mountain and Sarah Ellender Bible of Livingston, grandchildren: Brooklyn Ann Brooks, Kannon Rex Lee, Jentrie Reagan Lee, and Alexandria Ann Marie Sterling, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her pet companion Annabelle.

Level

Donald G. Level, 74 died July 13, 2015, at Mainland Hospital in Texas City, Texas.

Don was born on Nov. 3, 1940 to Willard D. and Ida Marie Shelton Level in Moberly, Mo., whom preceded him in death. He was a native of Columbia, Mo and had lived in Texas for the last 20 years.

He was preceded in death by wife, Thelma McMillen Level of Texas City, son, David Level of Columbia, Mo, brother Dalbert Level of Columbia, Mo and daughter-in-law, Andle McMillen of Huntsville, Texas.

He is survived by sons, Corey Level of Columbia, Mo, Dewey McMillen III of Huntsville, Texas, and Ervin McMillen of Winnie, Texas. Daughters, Marie McMillen and Max Mahmood, of Texas City, whom he resided with, Rose Anna McMillen Lerma and Jaime Sr., of Huntsville, Texas and Leona McMillen Hall and John Sr., of Wimberley, Texas. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, Dewey McMillen IV of Grapeland, Texas, Angela Nieto and Brandy Killingsworth of Huntsville, Texas, Manuel Johnson, Jr., of Texas City, Matthew and Andrew Bitara of Huntsville, Jaime Jr. of Huntsville, Britney and E.J. McMillen of Winnie, Texas and John Hall Jr. of New Braunsfel, Texas. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Crusita, Noah, Natalia, Ashlen, Madison, Trevor, Austin, and Hazel.

Don loved family gatherings and being with all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and baseball.

Graveside services will be announced at a later date.

Walters

Charles Raymond Walters, age 70 of Shepherd, Texas, died Thursday, July 9, 2015.

He was born September 29, 1944 in Shepherd, Texas to parents Alson Raymond Walters and Ola Pearl Toole who preceded him in death along with his granddaughter, Amanda Walters.

Survivors include his son, Charles R. Walters, Jr. (Chuck); daughters, Robin Miller and Sherry Brown; grandchildren, Brittany Miller, Sarah Brown, Charles R. Walters III (Tito) – currently deployed with the US Navy and wife Alexis, Jimmy Walters, Cody Walters, Travis McCreight and wife Stephanie, Clint Walters and wife Britny, Sierra Walters and husband Ethan Dickerson, and Ty Paredes; eight great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Turner cemetery, Bridge City, Texas.

Korenek

Robert L. Korenek, 78, of Dayton, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the Cleveland Healthcare Center in Cleveland.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Robert was born July 7, 1937 in Highlands, to parents; Arnold C. and Irene Kaminski Korenek, a former resident of Highlands, and has resided in Dayton for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and a fisherman by trade. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and bee keeping.

Mr. Korenek was preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Brandon Burton, and great-grandson: Baby Drake. He is survived by his daughters: Sherren Drake of Dayton, Marion Roberts of Onalaska, Tammy Korenek-Lozes and husband Jay of Louisiana, and Cindy Korenek-Flowers of Sequin, sisters: Virginia Russo and husband Larry of Florida and Irene Goedrich of Lynchburg, brother: Arnold Korenek and wife Dolores of Highlands, grandchildren: Rachael Ryland, Emma Drake, Chasity Jarry, Eric Burton, Jacob Roberts, Lacy Fenley, Lucas Fenley, Shannda Korenek, and Karli Flowers, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

DeLoney

Bruce Barton DeLoney, age 80 of Liberty, died July 11, 2015 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.

Bruce was born December 6, 1934 in Port Neches, TX son of the late Randolph DeLoney and Olive Degetaire DeLoney. Bruce worked as a security guard for over twenty years at Mosier Steel and then Trinity Industries. He then moved to Liberty after retirement and remained here until his passing. He will be missed by all.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Evelyn Rowler & husband Jerry, Margaret Moreau, and nephew; Rob Roy Rowler. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters; Kathy Wolfford and husband Lawrence, Kelly Stubbert and husband Raymond, brother; Jim DeLoney and wife Renella and two grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX.

Belcher

Don Stephen Belcher, age 54 of Liberty, died at his residence on July 9, 2015 in Liberty, TX.

Don was born November 2, 1960 in Liberty, TX, son of James Oliver Belcher and Barbara Wiggins Belcher. Don was always full of life. He love people and always had a smile on his face. Don enjoyed his music and reading books. He also loved his computer, electronic games and TV. He will be missed by all.

Don was preceded in death by his father; James Oliver Belcher, maternal grandparents; Ex Wiggins and Dena Parker Wiggins and his paternal grandparents; Mark Belcher and Bessie McManus Belcher. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, mother; Barbara Wiggins Belcher, aunts; Sonja Blanchard, Glenda Wiggins, Boots Wiggins, uncles; Lewis McMillen, George McMillen, special friend; Bertha Redmond and numerous cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Don’s memory to the Liberty Municipal Library.

Services for Don Stephen Belcher will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2pm at Worthy cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX.

Watkins

Alice Fay Cannon Watkins, 58, of Cleveland, died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at the Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Alice was born October 20, 1956 in Greenville, SC, to parents; B. J. Cannon and Effie Evelyn Plumbley, a former resident of Splendora, and has resided in Cleveland for the past four years. She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed watching sports, arranging flowers, sewing, and cleaning.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Mitchell, and grandson: Johnathan. She is survived by her husband: David Watkins of Cleveland, sons: David Watkins, Jr. and wife Amy of Humble, Wade Watkins and wife Amanda of Cleveland, and Aaron Watkins of Cleveland, daughters: Angie Bell of Cleveland and Brandy White of Cleveland, brothers: Bobby Joe, David, James, Todd, and Steve, sisters: Carolyn, Brenda, Janice, and Ola Mae, grandchildren: Taylor, Elijah, Jaziah, Mark, Majael, Ryan, Evan, Ethan, and Emily, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Wilborn

Carroll E. Wilborn Jr. died Monday July 6th, 2015, in Baytown, Texas.

Carroll was born in San Antonio, Texas, on August 28, 1945, the son of the late Carroll E. Wilborn Sr. and Berta Mary Jackson Wilborn.

A graduate of SMU, he went on to receive his law degree from the University of Houston.

Carroll had the privilege to serve the public of Chambers County for over forty years.

His first five years were as an Assistant County Attorney and Assistant District Attorney.

From 1977 to 1983 he served as an elected District Attorney for Chambers and Liberty Counties.

From 1983 until his retirement he served as a Judge for the 344th District Court.

He further supported the legal community as a member of the faculty at Advanced Criminal Law Certification Courses, the Texas College of the Judiciary and as a guest lecturer at South Texas College of Law.

He also supported the legal community on a state-wide basis as a Supreme Court appointee to the Judicial Advisory Council to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for numerous years, as the Governor’s Chairman of the Criminal Procedure Revision Committee and as Chairman and Treasurer of the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Carroll was also an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Anahuac where he served as a Senior Warden and Treasurer.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents as well as his step-father Roy Dawson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-nine years Charlotte Wilborn of Anahuac, daughter Stephanie Johnson and husband Chris of Katy, son Grant Jackson Wilborn of Anahuac, sister Berta Nell Smeal and husband Frank of Anahuac, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Tricia and Rusty Penick and Lee and Carmela Morgenroth. In addition he leaves his two grandchildren, Cade de los Santos and Adam Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held 3 P.M. Friday July 10, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Anahuac. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center or The Parish School, 11001 Hammerly Blvd., Houston, TX 77043, a school specializing in language and learning differences where his grandson, Cade is in his fourth year. Cremation services have been entrusted to Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main Anahuac, Texas.

Trahan

Patricia Ann Trahan, 57, of Houston, Texas died on July 4, 2015.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 8, 2015, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Wells Funeral Services Chapel, 300 Alabama St, Liberty, Texas. She will lie-in-state, Thursday, July 9, 2015, St. Mary's of the Purification Catholic Church, 3002 Rosedale St, Houston, Texas, beginning at 10:00 am, Rosary 10:30 am, Funeral Mass will follow.

Interment will be in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic cemetery in Ames, Texas.

Wells Funeral Services at 300 Alabama Street, Liberty, Texas has been entrusted with final arrangements.

Trant

Esther Faye Watson Trant, 90, of Wallisville, Texas, died Friday, July 03, 2015 at The Arboretum in Winnie, Texas.

She was born on February 17, 1925 to Raymond F. Watson and Ella Syer Watson of Wallisville, Texas. Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlton W. Trant, Sr.; Three brothers Ralph, Mitchell and Ed Watson; Two sisters Mary O’Brian and Myrtle Myzell; and a great grandson, Dastan Trant.

Faye is survived by: a sister, Elsie Dunman; son, Wheeler Trant and wife, Diane; daughter Carren Sparks and husband, Richard; son, Paul Trant; special daughter in-law Lucille Leger. Nine grandchildren: Glenn Trant and wife Kimberly; Mike Trant and wife Melanie; Dane Jones; Paula Hays and husband Josh; Eric Trant and wife Aamanda; Nathan Trant and wife Jennifer; Leslie Rhame and husband Kenny; Kym Hunt and Kristee Hunt. 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend James “Buddy” Mitchell. Special thanks goes to her caregivers Selena Spencer, Barbara Simon and Barbara Thomas in addition to the staff at The Arboretum of Winnie, Texas and the Gentiva Hospice group.

Faye was a very active member in her church, Eminence Baptist. She worked as an office assistant for Dr. T.L. Fahring in Anahuac for many years. Along with being a strong advocate of Bayside Community Hospital, she served as president on the board of directors and was a member of the hospital auxiliary. As an ambassador for Sterling Funeral Home, she served for 12+ years assisting the community. In addition, Faye belonged to the Order of Eastern Star #649. Sewing was her favorite hobby, which she did for many a young lady in their need for prom dresses, bridesmaid’s dresses, or any other seamstress needs. One thing she enjoyed most was fishing with her late husband and partner, as can be attested by her many friends and relatives who often appeared with them on Toledo Bend Lake.

Visitation will be held at Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac, Texas on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 in the evening. Funeral services will be held at Eminence Baptist Church in Wallisville, Texas on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Richard Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Anahuac cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 South Main St., Anahuac, Texas 77514. Memories and

Jacobs

Monda Kay Kibrige Jacobs, 67, of Dayton, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas.

Monda was born July 21, 1947 in Dover, Ohio, daughter to the late William E. and Clara E. Frank Kibrige. Formerly a resident of Atascocita, she had resided the past four years in the Dayton area Monda was a graduate of the Middletown High School class of 1965, attended Flint Community College, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and served as the 3rd District Chairperson of the Louisiana Girls State Program. She was a talented musician and passed these musical talents on to her children and grandchildren. Monda was an avid animal lover and enjoyed watching movies, shopping online, making jewelry, and bird-watching. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching tennis and baseball.

Monda is survived by her husband of 43 years: Jake Jacobs of Dayton, daughter: Lori Jacobs Cyr and husband Richard, II of Atascocita, son: Frank Jacobs and wife Margo of Colorado, brother: William “Bill” Kibrige, III of Ohio, grandchildren: Morgan Cyr, Bailey Cyr, Felicity Jacobs, Madilynn Jacobs, and Grant Jacobs, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Monda’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015, at the Atascocita United Methodist Church in Atascocita, Texas. Pastor Deborah Proctor will officiate. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.
