Thibodeaux

Phillip Thibodeaux, Sr., 70 of Liberty, died Saturday November 1, 2014.

He was born February 19, 1944 in Liberty. He was a dump truck driver for Smart Materials Inc. for over 40 years before he retired. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He enjoyed sitting on the bench at Walmart and people watching. He loved his family and his step-grandkids, Sadie and Mikayla Mayes of Hardin.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Votaw Thibodeaux; parents, Willis and Ovena Thibodeaux; brothers, Chap Thibodeaux, Theophill Thibodeaux, Roy Thibodeaux, Willis Thibodeaux, Jr., Joseph Thibodeaux, Leo Thibodeaux and Noah Thibodeaux.

He is survived by his sons, Phillip Thibodeaux, Jr. of Houston and Drew Thibodeaux of Liberty; sisters, Jeanne Berryhill of Daisetta, Juanita Moore and husband Henry Griffin of Liberty, Lillie Collins of Liberty, Anna Fregia and husband C.D. of Hull and Caroline Goings and husband Jimmy Martin of Horatio, Ark.; brother, Phill Thibodeaux and wife Pat of Sour Lake and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services Wednesday November 5, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A service of remembrance is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 6, 2014 at Faith and Family Funeral Services, officiated By Reverend Darrell Brown. Interment will follow at French cemetery in Dayton.

Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Thibodeaux, Greg Votaw, Adam Blanchard, Kevin Berryhill, Dan Mayes, Daniel Votaw and Jay Jacobs.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services, 40847 HWY 105 E., Batson, TX, 77519, (936) 262-2100 or (936) 336-2222.

Henry Ford, 73, died Monday, October 27, 2014 in Liberty, Texas.

Family will be greeting friends and other relatives, Tuesday, November 04, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wells Funeral Service Chapel at 300 Alabama Street in Liberty, Texas.

Moore

Mary Lucille Moore, age 88 of Liberty, died November 1, 2014 at Magnolia Place in Liberty.

Mary was born December 14, 1926 in Plain Dealing, LA, daughter of the late Ralph and Birtie Mae Trammel Bish. Mary and her late husband, Travis, opened Moore’s Quick Stop in 1969 here in Liberty and operated that store until 1998 serving the citizens of Liberty for twenty-nine years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Travis Moore. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son; Phillip Moore and wife Maureen of Houston, daughter; Christine Hewitt of Liberty, grandchildren; Jamie France of Baytown, Rick and Norma Warner of Liberty, Chris Warner of Liberty, Shawn and Molly Moore of Houston, great-grandchildren; Clint and Tisha Ziegler of Baytown, Cody, Travis and Christi Warner of Liberty, Kaitlin Moore of Houston, great-great-grandchildren; Samuel and Daniel Zeigler and Cash Veal.

Services for Mary Lucille Moore will be Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 2pm at Magnolia cemetery in Dayton, TX. Visitation will be Monday, November 3, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX.

Campbell

Randolph Campbell, 73, resident of Dayton, Texas died Friday, October 24, 2014 in Baytown, Texas.

Visitation is Friday, October 31, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Wells Funeral Service Chapel at 300 Alabama Street in Liberty, Texas.

Celebration of life is Saturday, November 01, 2014 at 11:00 am. He will lie in state at 09:30 am at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Texas with Rev. Dwight Pruitt officiating.

Interment will be in Wells Memorial cemetery in Liberty, Texas.

Sanders

Ryan David “Bubba” Sanders, age 30 of Mount Belvieu, TX passed away at his residence on October 26, 2014.

Bubba was born March 27, 1984 in Baytown, TX, son of David Grant Sanders and Patty Looney Sanders. He graduated from Barbers Hill High School and then two years of college at San Jacinto College in Baytown. Bubba was a pipe fitter in the oilfield industry and he loved his music and especially loved his dog. He will be missed by all.

Bubba was preceded in death by his grandfather; Cecil L. Sanders and grandmother; Regina Choate. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, sisters; Jennifer Sanders of Spring, TX, Jackie Harmon of Mount Belvieu, TX, brother; Daniel Cantrell of Dayton, TX, niece; Korbyn Harmon, grandmother; Willo Dean Sanders of Mount Belvieu, TX, Grandfather; Bill Choate of Branson, MO, numerous other extended family and friends.

Services for Ryan David “Bubba” Sanders will be Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10am at Sterling Funeral Home, 602 North Main, Dayton, TX with burial to follow at Palms Memorial cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm.

Tullos

Geraldine Munson Tullos, age 83 of Liberty, died in Liberty on October 28, 2014.

Geraldine was born August 20, 1931, daughter of the late Gordon Robert Munson and Jennie Walters Munson. Geraldine graduated from Livingston High School. As a child growing up in Ace, TX, Geraldine hung around her friends and family, went fishing in the marsh and swimming in Menard’s Creek. She loved to travel and spend time with family. Geraldine was co-owner of Joe Tullos Enterprise where she was in property management. Her passion in life was working with her husband, Joe, in their business. She was also co-founder of All That Glitters. She will be missed by all.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Kathy Davenport, brothers; Roy Munson, Gordon Ellis Munson, Daniel Eugene Munson and sister; Betty Lou Munson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty-two years; Joe Tullos of Liberty, daughter; Jody Connevey and husband Earle of Liberty, son; William Tullos and wife Jo Ann of Ace, TX, brother; Charles Munson and wife Linda of Angleton, TX, grandchildren; Daniel Connevey, Jennifer Connevey, Richard Carbo, Keshia Tullos, Krystal Tullos, Brandon Davenport, Shannon Davenport, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services for Geraldine Munson Tullos will be Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Ace Community cemetery in Ace, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the chapel of the funeral home from 5pm to 8pm.

Stringer

Jerry S. “Nene” Davis Stringer, 74, of Dayton, died Monday, October 27, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Jerry was born December 16, 1939 in Pearl River County, Mississippi, to parents; Julius T. and Minnie Lou Webster Davis, a former resident of Channelview, and has resided in Dayton for the past 22 years. She was a graduate of the Pearl River High School, a retired truck driver from Miller Transportation, and a member of the Whispering Meadows Baptist Church. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, working in her yard, and reading her bible.

Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her parents and sister: LaQuita Hutchins. She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Billy Joe Stringer of Dayton, sons: Joe D. Stringer and wife Stacie of Dayton, Bobby Joe Stringer and wife Reena of Dayton, and Billy D. Stringer and wife Kim of Spring, sisters: Delorse Lowe and husband L.D. of Kenefick, Precillia Ham and husband Gene of Mississippi, and Patricia Sloan and husband Dale of Channelview, brothers: Stanley Davis and wife Faye of Mississippi and Gary Davis and wife Trudy of Kenefick, grandchildren: Robert Stringer, Michael Stringer, Randy Stringer, Megan Stringer, Kirsten Stringer, Kyle Stringer, Jessica Weathers, Crystal Blackmon, Jessica Gonzalez, Michael Gonzalez, and Melissa Gonzalez, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Roberts

Orval “Lee” Roberts, 63, of Dayton, died Monday, October 27, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial at 12:45 p.m., Monday, at the Houston National cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Lee was born June 8, 1951 in Houston, to parents; Albert L. Roberts and Winnie Sustaire, a former resident of Channelview, and has resided in the Dayton for the past 25 years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam, a retired electrician from Brown and Root at the shell plant in Deer Park, and member of the Dayton First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Roberts volunteered for church services at the Magnolia Place and Liberty Healthcare nursing homes. He also enjoyed fishing, reading his bible, church activities, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his father: Albert L. Roberts and grandparents: Charlie and Novie Massey. He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Sharon A. Eubanks Roberts of Dayton, sons: Michael L. Roberts of Virginia and Matthew L. Roberts of Dayton, stepsons: Cary L. Leonard of Dayton, Michael R. Leonard of Houston, and Matthew S. Leonard of Dayton, mother: Winnie Sustaire Tully, brother: William Roberts, sisters: Renee’ Settlocker and Christine McCormick, grandson: Anthony Leonard, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Curry

Jerry Wayne Curry, age 71, formerly of Missouri, died October 27, 2014 in Baytown, TX.

Jerry was born December 1, 1942 in Texas City, TX, son of the late Floyd Mainer Curry and Margaret Elizabeth Josey Curry. He then was a custodian in several casinos in the Missouri area most of his life as well as Deer Park.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Jean Gail Curry and one sister; Betty Jean Curry. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, brother; Larry Curry of Liberty, sister; Judy Thompson and husband William of Washington, AR and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Jerry Wayne Curry will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2pm at Sterling Funeral Home, 602 North Main, Dayton, TX with burial to follow at Moss Hill cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service from 12n to 2pm.

Perk

Rhonda Gayle Harrell Perk, 61, of Kenefick, died Sunday, October 26, 2014, at the Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center in Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Brazoria cemetery in Brazoria. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Rhonda was born July 2, 1953 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, a former resident of Clute and Seabrook, and has resided in Kenefick for the past 17 years. She was a graduate of Humble High School, retired produce clerk for Randall’s Grocery in many locations, a member of the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church, and a volunteer for many church and local functions.

Rhonda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had many special creative gifts, such as cooking and baking, floral arrangements, scrapbooking, crafts and gardening. What was most special about her, was the way she shared these gifts to bring her family and friends together and give to others. She was an amazing hostess whose door was always open to anyone. She was the most generous person and gave freely of her heart, ear, time, advice or anything she had that she thought could make your life better. Rhonda will be forever missed and loved by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Perk was preceded in death by her mother: Betty Lou Elliott Willyard, her biological father: Harmon Franklin Harrell, her stepfather: Herman Kennon, stepfather: Floyd “Sonny” Willyard, grandson: Taylor Ray Hendon, and brother: Charles Kennon. She is survived by her husband of 27 years: Stephen Edward Perk of Kenefick, son: Richard Brett Hendon of Deer Park, daughters: Michelle Ann Bailey of Dickinson, Tresa Marie Johnson and husband Walter of Houston, Jennifer Donea Davis and husband William of Deer Park, Katherine Elizabeth Perk of Houston and Crystal Renee’ Perk of Houston, sister: Deborah Ann Morgan of Nevada, brother: Jack Kennon of LaPorte, grandchildren: Travis Bailey, Jessica Hernandez, Kelsey Johnson, Kayla Bailey, Jacob Hernandez, and Brooklyn Hendon, and numerous nieces, nephews, beloved relatives, her favorite partner in crime Linda Hollon and numerous special friends.

Parrin

Kayla Dianne Anderson Parrin, 23, of Liberty, died Sunday, October 26, 2014, at the Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center in Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Palms Memorial Park cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Kayla was born May 29, 1991 in Baytown, to parents; Paul Donald Anderson, Jr. and Kathy Dianne Burney, and has been a lifelong resident of the Dayton-Liberty area. She was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 2009, a manager for Old Navy of Baytown, and a member for the First Baptist Church of Dayton. She also enjoyed fishing, shopping, and water sports.

Ms. Parrin was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Donald Burney and Paul Anderson, Sr. She is survived by her mother: Kathy Burney Christopher and husband Daniel of Dayton, father: Paul Anderson, Jr. of Houston, brother: Nicholas Anderson and wife Tiffany of Baytown, grandmothers: Linda Burney of Dayton and Betty Anderson of Dayton, nephews: Bryce and Jacob Anderson of Baytown, best friend: Kyle Parrin of Baytown, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Fleischman

Joyce Crystal “Nannie” Fleischman, age 90 of Hankamer, TX, died at her residence on October 23, 2014.

Joyce was born November 9, 1923 in Houston, TX, daughter of the late Cecil Francis Montgomery and Ola Mae Fisher Montgomery. Joyce was a housewife all of her life and was a member of the Anahuac Assembly of God Church. She will be missed by all.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Bubba Montgomery, Lionel Montgomery, sisters; Helen June Hawkins, Gladys Brockelman, granddaughter; Wendy Staten and great-granddaughter; Kathan. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty-nine years; Morris Fleischman, daughter; Toni Mullins and husband Fredrick Johnson, sons; Rick Fleischman and wife Debbie, Marty Fleischman, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Joyce Crystal “Nannie’ Fleischman were Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10am at Anahuac Assembly of God in Anahuac, TX with burial was at Anahuac cemetery. Visitation was Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 North Main, Anahuac, TX.
