Julia “Puddin’” Lynn McDaniel Richardson, 47, of Anahuac, died Saturday, February 22, 2014.
She is survived by her parents, Bobby & Judy McDaniel, of Anahuac; brothers, Harvey McDaniel and wife Tammy, of Anahuac, Robert McDaniel, of Anahuac; Luster "Poe" McDaniel and wife Debbie of Baytown; daughters, Brandy Perez and husband Louis, of Houston and Shae’na Richardson and husband Adib Vasquez, of Port Arthur; sons Jeff Richardson, of Port Arthur and Nathanial Richardson and wife wife Betty, of Anahuac; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
A visitation and celebration for Puddin’ will be on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Sterling Funeral Home, in Anahuac, Texas with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 P.M..
St. Pierre
Roy Anthony St. Pierre, Sr., 72, of Saratoga, died Wednesday February 19, 2014 at Hermann-Memorial Hospital of Houston.
He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Batson. He had a great sense of humor and was quick with a joke. He was also a very hard working man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Numa and Anna St. Pierre; brother, Carrol St. Pierre and sister, Betty Gros.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 47 years, Marie V. St. Pierre of Saratoga; children, Cathy Bergeron and husband Terry of Houma, LA, Melinda Verdin of Houma, LA, Mabeline Haubois of Batson and Roy Anthony St. Pierre, Jr. and wife Emmie of Hull; grandchildren, Brent Bergeron and wife Shanna of Gray, LA, Brian Bergeron of Houma, LA, Joshua Verdin of Houma, LA, Chuckie Haubois of Batson, Christopher Haubois of Batson, Brianna St. Pierre of Hull, Dyllan St. Pierre of Hull and Noah St. Pierre of Hull; great grandchildren, Kora Bergeron, Baileigh Bergeron and Mattie Bergeron all of Gray, LA and a sister, Sylvia Crochet and husband Melvin of Desallemands, LA.
His family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services on Monday February 24, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service of remembrance will be 1:00 p.m. Monday February 24, 2014 at Faith and Family Funeral Services, officiated by Reverend Tom Muirhead.

Wilford "Cat Eye", "T-Bro" Chapman Jr., 67, of Liberty, Texas departed this life February 14, 2014 in Baytown, Texas.
Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Service Chapel at 300 Alabama Street in Liberty, Texas.

Modess Mosley 90 of Richmond, TX; died Feb. 14, 2014.
Services will be Feb. 22, 2014 at St. Miles Baptist Church 120 Hwy 90 Ames, TX. Visitation will begin at 10AM until funeral at 12Noon. Interment will be in Lone Star cemetery, Moss Bluff.
Modess is preceded in death by her husband Collins, her parents, her 5th daughter Patricia, her son Lovell and her brother Wilmer.
She is survived by her sister: Luella Durham, daughters: Burnette Jones, Pat Williams Bible (Clay), Bea Arceneaux, Lena Hurst (Walter), Edweina Thompson and son Robert Mosley. She is survived by six grandchildren: Djuana, Patience and Prudence, Jonathan, Joshua and Jason; four great grandchildren (Jacqueline and Jordan, Michael and Alex) and one great-great granddaughter: Madison and a host of other relatives and friends.

Thompson
Connie Sue Fregia Thompson, 59, of Batson, Texas died Monday January 27, 2014.
She resided in Batson most of her life She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Batson. She loved quilting and raising chickens. She is preceded in death by her father, Wesley Fregia; grandparents, Charlie and Lou Miller, Jul'e and Cecelia Fregia-Taylor; sister, Margie Ann Fregia.
She is survived by her mother, Jewel Miller of Liberty; daughter, Rebecca Thompson of Batson; step-children, Wesley Thompson of Batson and Rae'annan Jacobs of Crosby; Johnny Chancellor and wife Arlene of West Columbia, Billy Chancellor and wife Sharon of Fairfield, Weldon Fregia and wife Lola of Raywood; aunt, Mary Ellen Frazier of Kountze; special friends, Lana and Charles Williams.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 22, 2014 at Faith and Family Funeral Services, officiated by Reverend Gideon Watson.

Barrett
Quentin W. “Q.W.” Barrett, 89, of Dayton, died Saturday, January 11, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral services were January 15, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Services were under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Mr. Barrett was born September 6, 1924 in Cooper, Texas to parents Luther Lee and Mary M. Haddock Barrett and has resided in Dayton for the past 59 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy with service during WW II, a retired maintenance supervisor from the Cedar Bayou Gulf Plant. He also was a former dispatcher for the Dayton PD and member of the Old River Masonic Lodge. Quentin also enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, reading his newspaper, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 51 years: Billie Jo Paddy Barrett, daughter: Alica Kay Barrett Davis, and brothers: Luther H. Barrett, Delbert B. Barrett, and Leon C. Barrett. He is survived by his sons: David Barrett and wife Pam of Conroe and Audie Lee Barrett and wife Dorothy of CO, daughters: JoAnn Gajdosik and husband Kenny of Dayton and Carol Barrett of Dayton, grandchildren: Melissa Bullard, Tara Duncan, Mary Keleshian, Davy Barrett, Steven Cash, Chris Cash, Michael Davis, Matt Davis, and Marcus Davis, numerous great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bostick
William Edward Bostick Sr. age 53 died Monday February 17, 2014 in Houston.
Eddie was born in Wynne, Arkansas March 20, 1960 the son of the late Lawrence Edward Bostick Jr. and Etta Lou Johnson Bostick. He enjoyed being outdoors and woodworking. He graduated with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Arkansas State University. Eddie loved his job working as a Physical Therapist Assistant; it awarded him greatly with the joy of helping others.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Edward Bostick Jr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Sara Jo Bostick, daughters; Sara Elizabeth Caubble and Amy Jane Bostick all of Hot Springs, Ark., son; William Edward Bostick Jr. of Salinas, CA, mother Etta Lou Bostick-Cooney, sister; Kim Murphy of Forrest City, Ark. In addition he leaves five grandchildren and one on the way, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Caruth Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Rd. Hot Springs, Arkansas. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas.
Thibodeaux
Nadine Theresa Fregia Thibodeaux, 79, of Liberty, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the Liberty Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Monroe Fregia cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Nadine was born October 10, 1934 in Liberty, to parents; Fred and Ollie Nugent Fregia, and has resided in Liberty throughout her life. Her faith was full gospel, praising the Lord with belief and joy. She was a very independent woman, staying active in her home life, mowing her yard, and driving to her hair salon appointment where her hair stylist Brenda became part of her family, also visiting her favorite home town restaurant. She had a love of music of all genres. Her home was full with many knick knacks that gave her much joy. The love for her pets was evident by her care of them, Angel her dachshund was to her as important as a family member.
Mrs. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Ollie Nugent Fregia, husband: Chap Dennis Thibodeaux, grandchildren: Hannah and Samuel Holbrook, and sister: Amber Thibodeaux. She is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Sue Fullbright and husband David of Baytown, sons: Kenneth Earl Nugent and wife Rose of Liberty and Michael Dean Nugent and wife Scottie of Liberty, grandchildren: Theresa Michelle Holbrook and husband David of Humble, Tricia Ollie Nugent and James McQueen of Liberty, Kenneth Fred Nugent and wife Stephanie of Liberty, Crystal Gail Key and husband Charles of Hardin, and Michael Christopher Nugent of Dayton, great-grandchildren: Kara, Elise, and Arron Holbrook, Alexis Williams, Chloe Behar, Madison and Isaac Nugent, Kaitlyn Key, and Britanie and Christian Nugent, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
Dequeant
Charlene Belle Dequeant, 65, of Anahuac, died Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Herman Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Sybil Venable. She was born April 6, 1948 in Magnolia, Mississippi and was married
to Roy Dequeant on February 2, 1964. They just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Charlene is survived by her husband, Roy, son, Allen Dequeant and wife Sandra of Anahuac, daughter Tammy Tinsley and husband John of Elizabeth, Colorado, five grandchildren, Roy, Christopher Dequeant and wife Bethany, Zachary and wife Jessica Dequeant, Nichole Tinsley and Jake Tinsley, five great grandchildren, Kayden, Gracin, Rylee, Dakota, Noah Dequeant and soon to arrive Levi.
Mrs. Dequeant went to Winnie High School where she met and later married
Roy. She worked as a bank teller for Dayton State Bank and Anahuac National Bank.
Charlene was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Light. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with her family. Her family meant the world to her; she was especially proud of her family and she will be missed by all.
A visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5-8.00 P.M. and the Rosary at 7.00 P.M., will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Light in Anahuac, Texas.
Funeral Mass for Charlene will be celebrated at 9.00 AM on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Church of Our Lady Light in Anahuac, Texas.
Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery.
Moss
Jesse Virgil Moss, 86, of Dayton, TX, died Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 p.m. till time of Service. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Jesse Virgil Moss was born April 28, 1927 to parents; Gilbert and Vallie Barrow Moss. Mr. Moss graduated from Anahuac High School, and was in the Army–Air Corps during WWII. He also was a Senior Production Foreman at Sun Oil where he worked for 40 years. Mr. Moss was a Mason over 50 years. Mr. Moss was a member of Grace Community Church. He also loved listening to Bluegrass and Gospel music. He also had a special love for his cats.
Jesse Moss was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Joyce Fountain Moss of Dayton; daughter: Kay Adamson and husband Ryle of Nederland, TX; Granddaughter: Allison Adamson of Beaumont; Grandson: Carlton Adamson, Jr. of Beaumont, TX.; two great-grand-children, one great-great child. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends survived.

Rogers
Cheryl Pullen Rogers, age 50 of Liberty, died February 15, 2014 in Baytown, TX with her loving family by her side.
Cheryl was born July 17, 1954 in Liberty, daughter of John and Edna Statum Pullen. Cheryl graduated from Hardin High School and was a manager at Teachers Federal Credit Union. She was a life time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Cheryl was an amazing and strong woman. She raised her grandchildren by herself and was an avid sports watcher. She loved to hunt, read and work crossword puzzles. She will be missed by all.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, mother; Edna Pullen, sons; John Rogers and wife Cheryl of Raywood, David Rogers and wife Tabitha of Liberty, sister; Charlotte McDaniel and husband Manus of Baytown, grandchildren; Dusti Rogers of Liberty, Ashton Rogers of Atascocita, Courtney Rogers of Liberty, Kyle Rogers of Liberty, Stephanie Hicks and husband Ernest of Raywood, David Driskil of Raywood, Frank Parker and wife LaMonica of Cleveland.
Services for Cheryl Pullen Rogers will be Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty with burial to follow at Hardin Chapel cemetery in Hardin. Visitation will be Monday, February 17 from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel at Allison’s.
Kennedy
Holton Kennedy, III, age 30, of Liberty, Liberty County, Texas, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Liberty-Dayton Hospital in Liberty.
Holton was born March 15, 1983 in Baytown, Harris County, Texas, to his parents; Holton Kennedy, Jr. and Peggy Gibson.
Holton was a lifelong resident of Liberty County. He was a graduate of Tarkington High School, Class of 2001. Holton was a former employee of Mas Amigos, Pizza Hut and Black-Eyed Pea Restaurants. He loved spending time with his niece doing crafts, he also enjoyed drawing, fishing and photography.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Service for Mr. Kennedy will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Hovater officiating.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his mother: Peggy Clark of Liberty; father: Holton Kennedy, Jr. and wife Dee of Pasadena; grandfather: Laurence Gibson of Pasadena, brothers: Colby Landrum of Liberty, Daniel Kennedy and Travis Kennedy; Sisters: Kristy Kennedy of Liberty and P. J. Kennedy of Anahuac, niece: Brittany Landrum, nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
Holton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Cora Jo and Holton Kennedy, Sr. and his maternal grandmother: Ocey Gibson.
