James Hatcher, 60, of Vidor, Texas died on Sunday December 01, 2013 in Vidor TX.

He was born October 18, 1953 to Raymond and Doris Hatcher. Living in Saratoga, TX. most of his life, James was a truck driver for Flat Creek Transportation in Kinston, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife; Cindy Andrews Hatcher of Vidor, TX. Stepmother; Momma Joyce Hatcher Esclovon of Kountze, TX. Son; Raymond Hatcher and wife Melissa of Port Neches, TX. daughter; Lacy Hatcher and fiancé Derrick of DeRidder, LA. Stepson; Daniel Davis of Independence, MO. Stepdaughter; Brandi Freeman and fiancé Joseph of Vidor, TX. Brother; Terry Hatcher and wife Michelle of Kinston, AL. Sister; Melissa "Missy" Hatcher Beard and husband Darrell of Vidor, TX. Sisters-in-law; Lisa Andrews of New Braunfels, TX. and Tina Stalker of Samson, AL. Grandchildren; Seven, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents and sister; Cynthia "Siss" Hatcher Chiles. The family will be receiving friends Friday December 6, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services chapel.

A service of remembrance will be held Sunday December 8, 2013 at Faith & Family Funeral Services chapel with Reverend Bill Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Oilfield cemetery in Saratoga, TX. Serving as pallbearers are Terry Hatcher, Darrell Beard, Scott Hatcher, Ray Hatcher, Travis Hatcher and Robert Beard.

Service of remembrance under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105E. Batson, Texas 77519.

Collins

Sandy Willis Collins, 64, of Dayton, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, in Pasadena.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2013, at the Crosby Church with burial following at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Sandy was born July 4, 1949 in Houston, to parents; Roy Willis and Joyce E. Reynolds, a former resident of Pasadena, and has resided in Dayton for the past 34 years. She was a former bus driver for the Dayton ISD, and member of the Crosby Church and the church choir. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her father: Roy Willis, stepmother: Vonni Willis, and stepfather: Rev. George Lupo. She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Charles Collins of Dayton, daughter: Sonya L. Smith and husband Dominic of Huffman, son: Mark A. Collins and wife Shannon of Dayton, mother: Joyce E. Reynolds Lupo of Alvin, brothers: Eugene Willis of Port Arthur, Larry Willis of Pasadena, and Gary Willis of Pasadena, sisters: Darla Schrock of Friendswood and Lisa Lupo of Alvin, grandchildren: Gabrielle, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Kayla Rene’ Gonzales, Austin Morgan Smith, Noah Blake Smith, Tayriel, Tori, and Maci, her special companion and friend: Lady Haylee, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Hues

Rickey Dean Hues, 57, of Cleveland, died Monday, December 2, 2013 in Cleveland.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Old River Baptist Church with services concluding at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Rickey was born December 27, 1955 in Pasadena, to parents; Eldon, Jr. and Frances L. Higgins Hues, a former resident of Shepherd, and has resided in Cleveland for the past five years. He was a former heavy equipment operator and attended the Old River Baptist Church. He also enjoyed motorcycles, corvettes, and the outdoors.

Mr. Hues was preceded in death by his father: Eldon Hues, Jr. and mother: Frances L. Higgins Hues. He is survived by his daughters: Misti M. Livanec of Mt. Belvieu and Brittanni M. Hues of Mt. Belvieu, brothers: Roy Hues and wife Diana of Dayton and Johnny Hues and wife Amy of Mt. Belvieu, grandchildren: Brookelyn M. Livanec, Jacob Livanec, and Mymorie Kubik, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Wages

Bobbie Garness Wages, age 69 of Liberty, died in Kingwood, TX on December 3, 2013.

Bobbie was born August 5, 1944 in Eagle Lake, TX, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Atkinson and Willie Mae Smith Atkinson. She graduated from Eagle Lake High School in 1961. Bobbie was in law enforcement for over twenty-five years of her life. She started her law enforcement career with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department and worked there for over twelve years. She then worked as a Para-legal for Judge Harlan Friend and then ended her career with the Pasadena ISD Police for eleven years. She was well known in the Liberty County area. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; Harvey Garness, son; Douglas Dewitt Garness I, brother; Woodrow Wilson Atkinson Jr, and sister; Mary Helen Atkinson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of twenty-six years; William Wages of Liberty, daughter; Jeannette Potts of Cleveland, daughter-in-law; Deborah Garness Strang of Daisetta, grandchildren; Douglas Dewitt Garness II, Gerald and Harvey Douglas Potts, Alicia Stephens Valerio, great-grandchildren; Lane Douglas Garness, Mazie and Madalyn Pafford, Zachery and Isabella Valerio.

Services for Bobbie Garness Wages will be Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis Liberty, TX. Burial will follow at 2:30pm at Cornith cemetery in Kennard, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Allison Funeral Service from 5pm to 8pm.

Richardson

Luther L. Richardson 57 of Hankamer died Dec. 01, 2013.

Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 07, 2013. Visitation from 9AM until Funeral 11AM at St. Mary’s Baptist Church 213 Albrittion Gully Rd, Hankamer, TX. Interment will be in Richardson cemetery

Rivon

Leonard J. Rivon Jr. 81 of Raywood died Nov. 28, 2013.

Leonard was born on the 13th day of February 1932, to Leonard Rivon, Sr. and Roxie Smith Rivon. He attended George Washington Carver School in Anahuac, Tx.

Knowing the only way to heaven was through Christ Jesus, Leonard accepted Christ at an early age. He was a deacon at Bright Light Missionary Baptist Church for many years and later joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Baytown. He moved his membership to New Bethel Baptist Church in Raywood until his death.

He was employed at Trinity Bay, a custodian at the Chamber Co. Courthouse and a security guard at Lee College until his retirement. He enjoyed his work as a security guard and enjoyed socializing with anyone he met. His favorite hobby was farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Rivon, Sr., 2-sisters: Mrs. Lorraine Alford and Mrs. Jeanette Nicholas, brother: Mr. Richard Rivon.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his wife of 41 years, JoAnn Rivon of Raywood, Texas; sons: Paul Rivon of Dayton, Texas, Tim Rivon (Jackie) of Pearland, Texas, Bobby Rivon (Rhonda) of Wallisville, Texas, and Larry Rivon of Anahuac, Texas; daughters: JoAnn Finnels (Larry) and Vanessa Dever of Anahuac, Texas and Linda Rivon of Houston, Texas; sister, Lois Haskins (Delma) of Hankamer, Texas, brothers: Raymond Rivon, Sr. (Cora Lee) of Double Bayou, Texas, David Rivon (Kalynn) of Anahuac, Texas; 21-grandchildren, 21-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 06, 2013 Visitation 9AM until Funeral 11AM at Bright Light Baptist Church 504 FM 2041, Anahuac. Interment will be in Rivon cemetery.

Hoffman

Dorothy Lucille “Dot” Belk Hoffman age 86 died at her home Thursday November 28, 2013.

Dorothy was born in Merrigold, Mississippi, June 15, 1927 the daughter of the late John Lloyd Belk and Estelle Burns Belk. Dot enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants. In her youth she enjoyed deer hunting with her family.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Burl Eugene Hoffman, brother Haggard Belk, sisters Vivian Reid, Lorene Wilson, and Elizabeth Belk.

She leaves behind her son Ronnie Hoffman and his wife Wanda, daughter Marla Crump and her husband David, brother Joe Belk, sisters Mildred McCoullough, Marilyn Gaston, and Juanita Tollison, In addition she leaves her five grandchildren, Kye Gardner and husband Daniel, Jennifer Crump, Sean Crump, Angela Domec, and Ric Williams, she also leaves her dear friend Rosie Bruner, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Cremation services are under the direction of Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas.

Richardson

Nancey K. Richardson, 67, of Hull, Texas died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston.

A native of Beaumont, TX, she lived in Hull, TX most of her life and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norman Palmer and Tony Pate and sister Cindy Goff.

Survivors are her husband James P. Richardson Jr. of Hull, TX. Son; Craig Richardson and wife Jennifer of Hull, TX. Daughter; Susan Richardson of Hull, TX. Brothers; Tommy Palmer of Pearland, TX. and Jake Wise of Nederland, TX. Sister; Jayn Reeder of Sour Lake, TX. Grandchildren; Tommy, Ty and Karli Richardson and Seth Dryden, Leah, and Hana Baucum.

A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday December 1, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Mike Glazener officiating, cremation to follow. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday November 30, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Services Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital Cancer Center, 6720 Bertner Avenue, Houston, Texas 77030.

Andress

Jacqueline Joy Andress, age 82 of Devers, died November 28, 2013 in Kingwood, TX.

Jacqueline was born July 22, 1931 in Baytown, TX, daughter of the late Guy and Edna Staples Vanderhider. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1950 and lived in Devers for the past thirty-six years. Jacqueline loved to crochet, sew and travel around to Beef Master Ranches with her late husband Garth. Whenever possible, Jacqueline bragged about her grandchildren and was a very proud Aggie Mom and Grandmother. Jacqueline was also a Brownie Leader and a Sunday school teacher. She will be missed by all.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, husband of fifty-four years; Garth Andress.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter; Carolyn Loving and husband Daryl of Houston, sons; Randy Andress and wife Lola of Houston, Craig Andress of Devers, grandchildren; Jeffrey Andress and wife Allie, Lindsey Andress, Jennifer Akin and husband Brian, Kymberly Oney and husband Doug and one great-grandchild; Rylan Andress and numerous friends.

Services for Jacqueline Joy Andress will be Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10am at First United Methodist Church in Liberty. Burial will follow at Whittington cemetery in Devers.

Guillory

Joseph Emery Guillory 61 of Raywood, TX. passed Nov. 26, 2013.

Joseph was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on November 25, 1952 to LeeRoy Guillory, Sr. and Rose Guillory.

He attended Liberty High a School where he graduated and served in The United States Army for two years. Joseph was a master carpenter; he loved working with his hands and built his first home by himself.

Joseph was preceded in death by his Father Lee Roy Guillory, Sr., Brother Clayton Guillory, and three nephews.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memories Mother: Rose Guillory, Brothers: Walter, Weldon, Lee Roy, Jr., and Donald Ray Guillory; Sisters: Gertie, Shirley, David and Beatrice Guillory; Children: Bianca Guillory and Jessica Semien; four grandchild with one on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 30, 2013, 9AM until Funeral 11AM at St. Miles Baptist Church, Hwy 90 Ames, TX. Interment will be at Well’s cemetery, Liberty, TX.

Mr. Guillory’s services have been entrusted to Proctor’s Mortuary, 518 Miller St. Anahuac, TX.

Ware

Donna Louise Ware, age 73, of Liberty died November 27, 2013 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont, TX

Donna was born July 12, 1940 in Jasper, TX, daughter of the late Woody and Margaret Davis. She attended Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. She moved to Liberty in the early 60’s from Houston. She was a housewife most of her life and she enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and gardening. But mostly she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and step-dad; Glenn Edward Mullins. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of fifty-one years; Tommy Ware of Liberty, daughter; Shirley Butler and husband Ricky of Dayton, son; Billy Hairston of Liberty, brothers; Randy Mullins and wife Mert of Liberty, Steven Mullins and wife Vicki of Liberty, sisters; Debora Burwell and husband Kevin of Nevada, Margaret Ziglen and husband Tommy of Livingston, Patsy Harrington of Minnesota, grandchildren; Brandi Gabehart and husband Jonathon, Jayla Walker, great-grandchild; K-Lah Gabehart and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Donna Louise Ware will be Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX. Cremation services are under the direction of Allison Funeral Service.

Nesbitt

Mettie Lee Nesbitt, 94, of Baytown died Monday, November 25, 2013.

She was born on January 15, 1919 in Dayton. She was a great dancer winning many dance contest during the 40's. She was a good person, always there to help her family and neighbors. Although she had no children of her own, children loved her and loved to be around her. She was very independent and never wanted to be a burden to anyone. She was a good sister and fun person.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Nesbitt; siblings, O.J. Petty, Willis Petty, Wayne Petty, Vera Graham, Melba Dickerson and Verna Mae Reneau.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Mertz of Highlands; nieces, Dea Ann Joerg of Liberty, Carolyn Smith and husband Michael of Baytown and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A graveside gathering is scheduled for Tuesday December 3, 2013 at Houston National cemetery.
