Sarah Catherine Glover, 78, of Bay St Louis, Ms. died at her home in Dayton, TX. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, with her family by her side.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Sarah loved spending time with her grandchild, family and friends, she was an avid reader, enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, cross stitching, and knitting. She was a Retired LVN from Hancock Medical Center and Past Worthy Matron of The Eastern Star Lodge 429 in Bay St Louis, Ms.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; Oscar and Iva Owens, daughter; Carla Janice Schmidt, and brother; Dale Owens.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bobby Glover, daughter; Pamela Jean Martinolich and husband Kevin of Humble TX, son; Alvin Glover and wife Elizabeth of Slidell, La., brother; John Workman of Waveland Ms., grandchildren; Melanie, James, Melissa, Jeremy, George, William, Stephen, Shane, Stephanie, and Scott, great-great grandchildren; Michael, Carter, Landen, Reylissa, Destinee, Brianna, Celeste, Hunter, Ashlynn, Brayden, and a host of other family and friends.

Pall Bearers will be James Martinolich, Jr., Jeremy Martinolich, Scott Glover, Dennis Glover, Rey Del Toro, and Matt Plant.

Funeral Services will be held at Fielding Funeral Home in Covington, La. on Friday, May 3, 2013, at 10:00 A.M., a gathering of Sarah's family and friends will be on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M and again on Friday morning before the service, from 9:00 A.M - 10:00 A.M.

Henscey

George H. Henscey, 84, of Dayton, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Dayton with burial following at the Center Hill cemetery in Oakhurst. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

George was born September 20, 1928 in Mt. Belvieu, to parents; Felix A. and Grace Rucker Henscey, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Dayton for the past 48 years. He was a graduate of the Barbers Hill High School class of 1947, attended Lee College, member of the First United Methodist Church in Dayton. His work experience included being a former employee of Diamond Alkali, N.A.S.A during the Apollo missions, helped build and worked on the Alaskan pipeline, and in the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. He enjoyed his work, watching John Wayne movies, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Henscey was preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Janie Lewis Henscey of Dayton, children: Michael Henscey of San Francisco, CA, Pat Henscey and wife Ann of Dayton, Rick Henscey and wife Mary of Dayton, Judy Baker and husband Ed of Katy, Peggy Henscey of Dayton, and Brenda Henscey of Dayton, brother: A. W. Henscey and wife Kay of Dayton, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of usual floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church at 106 S. Cleveland, Dayton, TX 77535, or a charity of one’s choice in George’s name.

Parrin

James William Parrin, 57 of Huffman died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Hermann Memorial Katy Hospital.

He was a loving father, brother and friend.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Huffman cemetery under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Parrin; parents, Norman Edward and Ruby Jewel Parrin; sister, Rhena Ann Parrin; brother, Robert Michael Parrin. He was a foreman as a Pipefitter. He loved fishing, sporting and being with his family.

James is survived by his daughter, Megan Lynn Parrin; sons, Ryan William, Kyle Norman Parrin and wife, Kayla Dianne; brothers, Louis Parrin of Sioux Falls, SD, Ronald Parrin Sr. of Steeleville, IL, and Carloss Bishop of Dupo, IL; and a host of other family and friends.

Woods

Emma Dean Woods, age 90 of Liberty, died April 27, 2013 in Liberty, TX.

Emma was born in Waller, TX on March 256, 2013, daughter of the late Sid and Rosa Imhof Boyd. She attended Waller High School and was a housewife most of her life. She was a member of the Jefferson County Singles Club and loved to dance, fish and garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; William Terry Woods Jr. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter; Beverly Williamson, sons; David Miller, Richard Clint Woods, sister; Sue Stapp, brother; Russell Boyd, grandchildren; Debbie Williamson, Laura Dean Williamson, Wade Williamson, Jerre McCarty Delaney, Michelle Fatheree, Angie Parrish, Darbie Woods, great-grandchildren; Rowdy, Jessica, Cheyenne and Walker Williamson, Kara Meche, Kaci Meche Rhine, Austin Fatheree, Jaden and Jacee Parrish, special friends; Maxey Kirkley and Ken and Nancy.

A memorial services for Emma Dean Woods will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 4pm at North Main Baptist Church in Liberty. Arraignments are under Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX.

Fregia

Mary Elizabeth Fregia 83, of Liberty, died Friday April 26, 2013 at 11:13 A. M. at her residence .

She was born in December 24, 1929 to her parents Clint and Bernice Fregia in Liberty, where she lived all of her life and attended the Central Baptist Church of Liberty. She was a homemaker.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Bill "E" Fregia; parents, Clint and Bernice Junkun Fregia; brothers, Maurice Fregia, Clifton Fregia and Ealson Fregia; sister, Alma Vogel. Mary is survived by her daughters, Diana Harrison and husband Joe of Daisetta, Linda Crouthers of Liberty, Tisha Tilton and husband Mike of Liberty; Brothers, R.W. Fregia of Liberty, Franklin Fregia of Dansbury, Vernon Fregia of College Station; Sister, Norma Williamson of Liberty; grandchildren, John Vail, Billy Vail, Amanda Whitmire, David Crouthers, Jr. great grandchildren 12, great great grandchildren 1 and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will be recieving friends Monday April 29, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel. Service of remembrance will be held Tuesday April 30, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Lesley Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Fregia cemetery in Liberty, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are John Vail, Bubba Crouthers, James Michael Fregia, Billy Vail, Williard Morman, Mike Tilton. Honorary pallbearers are R.W. Fregia, Nathan Fregia, Preston Fregia.

Wright

Bessie Martha Wright, 89, of Vidor, passed away April 24, 2013.

She was a very active member of her church, Calvary Tabernacle, where she taught the nursery class for many years. She collected dolls. She worked for the South Park I.S.D. She also worked at Shepherds Laundry of Beaumont until her retirement. Most of all, she loved children, especially her own.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Wright; parents, Will and Ruth Lyle; brothers, Phil Lyle and Bob Lyle.

She is survived by her children, John Wright and wife Estelita of Daisetta, Richard Wright and wife Dianna of Port Acres, Lisa Davis and husband Mack of Vidor; grandchildren, Latishia Wingate of Daisetta, John D. Wright, Jr. and wife Rosie of Hull, Karl Wright and wife Tracy of San Antonio, Jeffrey Wright and wife Stormi of Groves, Deidra Mayer and husband Brad of Fannett, Keli Louviere and husband Stephen of Vidor, Mack Wayne Davis, Jr. and wife Hallie of San Diego, TX; brother, Briley Lyle and wife Mary of Altoona, PA, sister, Louise Schwartzwelder of Beaumont; sister-in-law, Pat Lyle of Groves; 14 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Karl Wright, Jeffrey Wright, John D. Wright, Theo Baker, Jr., Thomas Comte and Ron Emerson. Honoray pallbearers are Austin Wingate and Slade Louviere.

A service of remembrance will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Calvary Tabernacle of Beaumont, officiated by Reverend Billy Stanley. Internment will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Jordan cemetery in Honey Island.

Collins

85, of Honey Island, died Thursday April 25, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

He was born in Saratoga, Tx. on October 10, 1927 to Mac Erlon Collins Sr and Johnnie Jay Welch and had lived in the Hardin county area for over 30 years and was Oilfield Equipment Salesman for many years before retiring and was also a U.S Army veteran. He is survived by his wife for over 60 years Bessie Page Collins of Honey Island; sons, Mac Erlon Collins III and wife Cindy of Mt. Enterprise, Philip Burton Collins of LaPorte. Daughter LaDonna "Dee" Collins of Honey Island, and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Cremation service under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services.

Taylor

Douglas Taylor, 76, of Liberty, Texas died on April 26, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Douglas was born on September 1, 1936 in Saratoga, Texas to parents Birch “Budgie” Taylor and Alpha Lee Morse Taylor. He grew up in Baytown and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1954. He worked in the pipeline field all of his life, first being at Jackson Welding Works and then at Taylor Pipeline Construction that he and his wife, Linda Jackson Taylor started in 1969. He also worked helping build the new rodeo arena at the Trinity Valley Exposition and served on the Board of Directors.

Douglas was an avid hunter taking many hunting trips to British Columbia and Alaska. He enjoyed raising cattle, hunting with his brothers and friends and most of all spending time with all of his many grandchildren.

Douglas was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Linda Jackson Taylor, sister Wilma Taylor, his parents and stepson Brent Adcox.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Juanita Adcox Taylor, his children: James D. Taylor and wife, Annette of Liberty, Julia Taylor Koch and husband, Dennis of Liberty, Lori Taylor Olive and husband, Gary of Kernersville, NC, Linda Beth Taylor and husband, Mike of Liberty, Susan Taylor Sanchez and husband, Malcolm of Raywood, Karen Taylor Sumrall and husband, Kerry of Hardin, Lee Ann Taylor Gerhart and husband, Billy of Crosby. He is also survived by stepchildren: Jack Adcox and wife, Irene of Baytown, Dee Adcox Butler and husband, Mike of LaPorte, Francis Adcox Sutton and husband, Jimmy of Baytown, Robbie Brown Phillips and husband Travis of Baytown, Theresa Summerford of Baytown, brothers: Jerry Taylor and wife, Laneen of Highlands, Norman Taylor and wife, Sandra of Liberty, Edward Taylor and wife, Judy of Highlands, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Odyssey Hospice, Doctors Barbandi, Medellin and Brandon Smith.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6-9PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Services for Douglas Taylor will be 2PM Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, Liberty, Texas, with burial to follow at Cooke cemetery, Liberty. Arrangements are under the direction of Allison Funeral Service.

Boatwright

Betty Boatwright, 71 of Livingston died on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from an auto accident. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 28, 2013 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Alemda Heil; grandson, Raymond Lee Seay; great-grandson, Kadin, son-in-law, Jessie Balinsky. She loved baking pies and selling them under the name of Aunt Betty's Pies.

Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clarence Boatwright; daughters, Donna Seay and husband, Raymond, Carolyn Balinsky, Cathy Bowden; son, Clarence Boatwright Jr. and wife, Tammy; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Kucera

Calvin Anton Kucera, age 88 of Hardin, died on April 26, 2013 in Liberty, TX.

Calvin was born June 7, 1924, in Inez, TX, son of the late Steve Kucera Sr and Mary Holy Kucera. Calvin served in the US Army and served in World War II. He was a driller in the oilfield business for over twenty years. He loved to garden, bar-b-que but mostly loved his family.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Shirley Kucera, grandson; Cody Glover, seven brothers and two sisters. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, sister-in-law; Johnnie Herrington and husband James of Hardin, sisters; Lilly Hawn of Ganado, TX, Mary Jane Kresta of Ganado, TX, son; Wayne Kucera of El Campo, TX, Debbie Krepec of El Campo, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Calvin Anton Kucera will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty with burial to follow at Hardin Chapel cemetery in Hardin, TX. Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at Allison Funeral Service from 5pm to 8pm.

Farrell

Lois Barr Farrell, 86, of Mont Belvieu, Texas, died at her home on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, with her family by her side.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend.

Lois was an artist and seamstress. She was a world traveler, cultured, enjoying reading, music, and building furniture. She was a queen to all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Interment will follow at Felps cemetery, in Thicket, Texas. A gathering of Lois' family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., on Friday, April 26, 2013, at the funeral home.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Barr, sister, Virginia Miller; son, Walter Howard Farrell, Jr., great-grandson, Elisha Henderson, son in laws, William Dale Ross and Greg Hurst.

Lois is survived by her husband of 67 years, Walter Howard Farrell, Sr., daughters, Loren Farrell Turner, Kathy Farrell Cagle, and husband Paul, Sharon Farrell, and Annette Farrell Ehnot, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
