Martin

Sherry G. Robinson Martin, 69, of Dayton, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Day officiating. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Sherry was born August 8, 1943 in Liberty, to parents; O. L. Robinson and Lucille Hudgins, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. She was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1961, class of 61 representative for the Pioneer Association, and member of the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church and the Kenefick Activity Club. She also enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, and square dancing.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her father: O. L. Robinson and mother: Lucille Hudgins Tucker. She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Will R. “Butch” Martin of Dayton, son: James Martin of Dayton, daughters-in-law: Elizabeth Winn and husband Bo of Crosby and Christine Martin of Channelview, brother: Harvey E. Robinson and wife Linda of Dayton, sister-in-law: Lenitta Martin of Dayton, grandchildren: Craig Winn, Annalise Martin, Zane Winn, Hope Winn, and Faith Winn, and numerous other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of usual floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church at 3536 FM 1008, Dayton, TX 77535, for the Rhonda Perk Fund.

Caldwell

Dorothy E. “Dot” Robinson Caldwell, 86, of Liberty died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services were 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Magnolia Park cemetery in Dayton. Services were under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Dot was born December 21, 1926 in Dayton, to parents; L. Monroe and Alva E. Stubbs Robinson, and has been a lifelong resident of the Dayton/Liberty area. She was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1945, a former telephone operator, homemaker, and Baptist by faith. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years: Douglas K. “Doug” Caldwell, son-in-law: Mike Roberts, sisters: Annie L. Brooks and Lorena Johnson, and brothers: Theron, Oma Lee, and Raymond “Bill” Robinson. She is survived by her son: Mike Caldwell and wife Brenda of Daisetta, daughter: Barbara J. Roberts of Crosby, grandchildren: Shawn Caldwell and wife Melody, Chris Roberts, Brandon Caldwell, Stefanie Taylor and husband Brandon, Trevor Caldwell, Kayla Roberts, and Colton Caldwell, great grandchildren: Colin Roberts, Hunter Caldwell, Brayden Caldwell, Michael Taylor, and Matthew Taylor, sister: Marie Vavrusa of Hallettsville, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Shawn Caldwell, Chris Roberts, Brandon, Trevor Caldwell, Colton Caldwell and Brandon Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Colin Roberts, Hunter Caldwell, Brayden Caldwell, Michael Taylor and Matthew Taylor.

Hallman

Alice D. “Granny” Wedgeworth Hallman, 86, of Dayton, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Liberty Healthcare Center in Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Magnolia Park cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Alice was born May 14, 1926 in Tuscaloosa, AL, to parents; John E. and Willie Mae Dockery Wedgeworth, a former resident of Pasadena, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 38 years. She was a retired cook for the Dayton High School cafeteria and member of the Kingdom Hall of Liberty. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, crocheting, and quilting.

Mrs. Hallman was preceded in death by her father: John Ernest Wedgeworth, mother: Willie Mae Dockery Wedgeworth, husband of 33 years: Lonnie Vester Hallman, Jr., son: John Vester Hallman, daughter: Nancy Carol Hallman, and sisters: Mary Wedgeworth, Leona Austin, and Lois Hall. She is survived by her daughters: Judy Gambol and husband Barry, Sr. of Dayton and Sandra Dawkins and husband John D., Sr. of Dayton, sister: Patsy Riggs of Pasadena, brother: Bobby Wedgeworth of Pasadena, grandchildren: Lori Hutchins, Barry Gambol, Jr., John D. Dawkins, Jr., and Vester Dawkins, great-grandchildren: Darren Dawkins, Samantha Dawkins, and Emma Dawkins, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Todd

James S. “Jimmy” Todd, 48, of Houston, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Jimmy was born May 29, 1964 in Houston, to parents; Gerald S. Todd and Shirley J. Miller, and has been a lifelong resident of Houston. He was a graduate of the Sam Houston High School, a mechanic by trade, and known to help others. He also enjoyed race cars, fishing, hunting, swap meets, and his pride and joy of being around drag racing.

Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his father: Gerald S. Todd, sister: Betty Jo Todd, and grandparents: Gerald Todd, Dorothy Wisegerber, and Charles and Mary Miller. He is survived by his mother: Shirley J. Miller Todd of Liberty, adopted son: Donald W. Hunt, siblings: Elaine Tabers of Liberty, Becky Stanley of Mexia, Steve Todd and wife Carol of Kenefick, Tammey Shriver and husband Bret of OH, Cindy Moreno and husband George of Alvin, Mike Todd of Liberty, Charles Todd and wife Jennifer of Daisetta, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Damrell

Billie Damrell, 96, of Romayor died Saturday March 23, 2013. She was one of the best cooks ever and owned and operated her restaurant for over 20 years.

She couldn't make enough pies for her customers. She will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Allen Damrell, Sr.; son, Williard Allen Damrell, Jr.

She is survived by her niece, Connie Potter and husband Bobby of Cleveland; nephew, Ricky Snell and wife Sherry of Cold Springs; foster daughter, Mary Cessna of Liberty.

Following her wishes, there will be no funeral services as she will be cremated.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services, 40847 HWY 105 E., Batson, TX, 77519, (936) 262-2100 or (936) 336-2222.

Frizzell

Gary L. Frizzell, 62, of Dayton, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Linney cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Gary was born December 30, 1950 in Dayton, to parents; Herby C. and Nomal J. Sherfield Frizzell, a lifelong resident of Dayton, and was a member of the New Life Church in Kenefick. He enjoyed gardening, playing the guitar and piano, and watching wrestling.

Mr. Frizzell was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Esther Fortune, and nephew: Guy Frizzell. He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Rita F. Smith Frizzell of Dayton, son: Gary J. “Joey” Frizzell of Dayton, sisters: Nita Walker and husband Jimmy of Dayton and Janet Melancon of Hardin, brothers: Delton Frizzell and wife Ruth of CA and Coy Frizzell of Hardin, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Paxton

Brian Lee Paxton was born on February 27, 1958 to parents Willis Dee and Marie Maxine Paxton in Alexandria, Louisiana and died on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the age of 55.

He is preceded in death by both parents; and his brother Ricky Belcher.

Survivors include his loving wife Lisa Paxton; daughters Susan Paxton, Katy Paxton-Starr, Chasity Paxton; son Justin Paxton and wife Kellie; sister Vicki Sweet and husband Tony; brother Terry Paxton and wife Carol; grandchildren Lucas Meyer, Logan Meyer, Mackenzie Paxton, Shelby Paxton, Zeke Paxton, Sheridan Paxton, Livvy Paxton, Payton Wiggins, and Piper Wiggins; nephews Terry Paxton II, Joshua Paxton and Trevor Montgomery; nieces Danielle Bichon, Amy Irvin, Fallon Lefvere, Michelle McDonald, DeAnn Tucker; aunt and uncle Marlin Simmons and Dee Simmons; numerous other treasured family members and faithful friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2013, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Ronald Culberth and Bro. Carl Williamson will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, March 23, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Big Sandy cemetery, Dallardsville, Texas. Pallbearers include Dave Tuttle, Tommy Allen, Jack McCullogh, Tim Mitchell, Gus Gustafson, Danny Stanfield, Weston Raub, and Bryan Mercer; honorary pallbearers include Billy Murry, Trevor Montgomery, Randy Murry, Joshua Paxton, Terry Paxton II, Jimmy Rollins and Joey Ford.

Reed

Leona P. Reed age 82 died at her home Thursday March 21, 2013.

Leona was born in Baytown, April 3, 1930 the daughter of the late George Washington Golden and LaVada Lee Hicks. She was a nurse for many years at the Baytown Hospital. She loved her church. She loved to cook for her family. She read and studied her bible and she was known as a prayer warrior. She loved to travel and she and her husband took their grandchildren on many trips with them as they grew up. She loved her seven granddaughters very much and helped take care of them when they were young. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents as well as a brother Jack Golden.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Travis Eugene Reed of Hardin, sons Travis Randall Reed wife Regina of Hardin, Jeffery Alexander Reed wife Rani of Dayton, Nevada, sisters Margie Neal of Hardin, Evelyn Barber of Highlands, and Ruth Allen of Crosby, grandchildren Tracy Jackson husband James of Hardin, Kristy Davie husband Kim of Raywood, and Travis Daniel Reed of Beaumont, great-grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie, Allyson, and Emily Jackson, Kali, Kassidy, and Kimberly Davie. In addition she leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2PM Monday, March 25, 2013 with a visitation to be held one hour prior to the service at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Burial will immediately follow the service in Hardin Chapel cemetery.

Williamson

Donald Raye "Peewee" Williamson, Jr., 54, of Silsbee, died Wednesday March 20, 2013.

He was the warehouse man for Wholesale Electric in Beaumont. He had lived in Beaumont most of his life, before moving to Silsbee for the last ten years. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, David Williamson.

He is survived by his parents, Donald, Sr. and Carrie Williamson of Silsbee; brothers, Kenneth Williamson and wife Jessica of Austin, Larry Williamson of Winnie; sister, Debbie Doleman and husband Ronald of Conroe; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; 4 great nephews and many friends.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday March 23, 2013 at Moss Hill cemetery in Moss Hill, officiated by Randy Doleman.

Fregia

Albrie Marie Fregia, infant daughter of Michael Fregia and Amanda Mead, of Dayton died, Friday March 15, 2013 in Liberty, Texas.

Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Wilderness Church cemetery in Liberty, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Albrie was preceded in death by her great-grandmother: Betty Fregia great-great-grandparents: James Harrison and Rosalee Dagle, and great-great uncle: Charles Granger; cousin: Coby Holder.

Survivors are her parents, Michael Fregia and Amanda Mead; brothers: Hunter Fregia, Heyden Fregia and Colby Staley; grandparents: Craig and Nola Mead, Raymond Fregia, Jr. and Linda, Sheryl and Jason Lankford; great-grandparents, Kenneth and Joycelyn Mead, Mary Smith and Irene Hoover, Raymond Fregia, Sr. and Gracie; aunts and uncles: Cameron, Zack and Dustin Mead, Joe Fregia, Sr., Terry Fregia, Alexus Lankford, Matthew and Kitty Jackson, Shane McGowan and Eboni Fregia, Patrick Hall; great aunts and uncles: Johnny and Kerri Fregia, Jamie and Melissa Mead, Elivis and Regina Fregia, Nell Fregia, Denise and Rosie Cook, Raymond and Liz Dowdell, Terry and Helen Tower, Ron and Norreen Mott, Lee Mead, Michael Mead, Billy Roy and Sara Fregia, Stoney and Vanassa Fregia, Evil and Lori Fregia, Shawn and Joyce Ann Richard, Kendra Mead; cousins: Lacey Jackson and Patrick Jackson.

Carlson

Penny Lee Carlson was born in Tomball, Texas on January 8, 1960 and died March 19, 2013.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Allison Funeral Service Chapel, 1101 N. Travis St., Liberty, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm, Friday March 22, 2013 at Allison Funeral Service with burial to follow in Liberty City cemetery.

Penny was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Edward Wilkerson and step-father, Jim Stephenson, and her grandparents, Lorena and Ellis Wilkerson and Myra and George Manos. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, John Carlson, daughters, Courtney Grosklags and Christina Barredo, son John Carlson, Grandchildren, Abby Grosklags, Sydney Grosklags, Johnny Carlson, Ava Carlson, Tommy Carlson, sisters, Patty Eason and Cindy Gunnels, brother, Frank Stephenson, step-brothers, Craig Lovell, Sammy Lovell and Francis Bach.

Meadows

Joyce Marie Fingleman Meadows, 54, died Tuesday, March 19, 1958 in Liberty.

She was born November 10 1958 in Liberty, Texas to parents John Benjamin Fingleman and Melisha Marie Gore Fingleman. She was a lifetime resident of Dayton and enjoyed watching television, especially game shows.

Graveside service for Joyce will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Linney cemetery with Rev. Jeff Day officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.Joyce was preceded in death by her father, John B. “JB” Fingleman. She is survived by her mother: Melisha M. Gore Thurman of Dayton; sisters: Darlene Butcher & husband Ernest of Dayton and Tresa Nelson of Dayton; brothers: James R. Fingleman, Pete Thurman, and Joe Thurman; nieces and nephews: Sonny Butcher, Bradley Butcher, Troy Nelson, James Fingleman and Traci Fingleman; numerous other relatives and friends.

Pruett

Justin Randall "Juddy" Pruett, 22, of Woodville died Sunday March 17, 2013.

He was born September 17, 1990 in Bolivar, MO. He was a very interesting person. Anyone who met him couldn't help but to love him. Juddy was never afraid to be himself, he didn't care if you liked it or not, he was going to be who he wanted to be and you would have to just deal with it. Juddy was a lovable, good looking man. He loved his family and his friends. His favorite hobby was fishing for he could fish circles around everyone who went with him. Juddy we all love you and will miss you forever. Juddy you were an amazing, one of a kind son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.

He was survived by his mother, Alana Smith of Woodville; grandmother, Lillian "Gammie" McSpadden of Woodville; sisters, Stevie O'Grosky of Woodville, Heather Pruett of Kirbyville; brother, Kaleb Unruh; nieces, Cadence O'Grosky of Woodville, Brylee Kimmey of Kirbyville; nephew, Patrick Levi Lamon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family will receive friends Friday March 22, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Fellowship Church of Woodville. A graveside service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Friday March 22, 2013 at Lakeside cemetery in Townbluff, officiated by Reverend Jimmy Shoemaker.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Jones, Erik Fregia, John Simack, Kaleb Unruh, Patrick Lamon, Lance, T.J. Freeman and Justin Ford. Honorary pallbearers are Reggie McSpadden, Floyd "Tracy" McSpadden, Randell Fregia, Tanner Olsen and Davin McSpadden.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services, 40847 HWY 105 E., Batson, TX, 77519, (936) 262-2100 or (936) 336-2222.

LeNormand

Robert Randel LeNormand 80 of Batson, Texas died Monday March 18, 2013 at his residence.

Born in Hull, Texas on August 20, 1932 to George LeNormand and Nancy Palmer Robert had lived in Batson, 44 years and had worked as a Roughneck for Mosley Enterprise of Batson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Freda LeNormand of Batson, son Randel LeNormand and wife Gwen of Batson. Daughters Vicki Whiteside and husband Delbert of Waco, Patti Blackwell of Hardin, Juanette Valentine and husband Fred of Shepherd, and Elaine Tousha of Freeport, brother Richard Claude LeNormand and wife lynn of St. Helen, Oregon. Grandchildren; six and Great Grandchildren; fourteen. Cremation under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson.

Service of remembrance under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services 40847 Hwy 105E. Batson, Texas 77519.
