Fowler
Ercel Carroll Fowler, 70, of Houston, died on February 6, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, from 5pm until 8pm at Allison Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2pm, at Concord Church, Rye, Texas with burial to follow in Concord cemetery in Rye, Texas.
Mr. Fowler was born on January 17, 1943, in Liberty, Texas. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved his dogs. He was an insurance agent for Farmers Life Insurance from 1984 until the present. He worked at Armco Steel Mill as a data recorder. Mr. Fowler was the manager of the Channelview Water District for five years. Mr. Fowler was a man that loved to spend time with his family.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gayle Fowler, two sons, Daniel Fowler and wife Jen and Jason Fowler and wife Melissa, Parents, Ercel and Frances Fowler, two brothers, Malcolm Fowler and wife Judy, Marlon Fowler and wife Blanca, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Bagby
D' Anna Bagby, 53, of Dayton died on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.
She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, stepmother and friend.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 8, 2013 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of D' Anna's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
D' Anna worked for Kwik Mart Foods on FM 1409 for over 15 years. She loved fishing, cooking and working with her roses.
D' Anna is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Bagby; stepdaughter, Rachal Mata; stepson, David Lee Bagby Jr.; sister, Ann Timmons and husband, Joe; brother, Norman McHaney; niece, Margie; special friends, Leonard Baca and wife, Dorothy; and a host of other family and friends.

Mildred Mosley 82, of Anahuac died Feb. 02, 2013.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 09, 2013, at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 1204 Miller St. Anahuac, Rev. Lester Guidry Pastor. Visitation from 10AM until Funeral which will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Anahuac cemetery.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents: Arthelus and Bertha Skinner and husband: Bill Mosley.

Lisa Kelly Mayes, 39, of Hardin, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Lisa was born on February 16, 1973 to parents, Ernest Michael Webb and Lucy Thomas Webb. Lisa was a graduate of Hardin High School. She met and married
Dan “Bubba” Mayes III and they enjoyed 19 years together. Lisa fought hard and never complained or made excuses. She always had a smile on her face. Her house was always full of kids. She loved her dogs and her family. She enjoyed life. She was a member of the Hardin Athletic Booster Club, Hardin Young Farmers and volunteered at Hardin ISD.
Lisa is survived by her parents, husband, Bubba Mayes, daughters, Sadie Mayes and Mikayla Mayes, sisters; Tammie Kelly and husband Jason, Rae Lynn Strohm and husband Bill, Amy Webb, brothers; Mike Webb and wife Adrienne, P.J. Webb and wife Abby, mother-in-law, Susan Thibodeaux, father-in-law, Dan Mayes Jr., brother-in-law, Brad Mayes and wife Amber, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Friday February 8, 2013 from 5-8pm at Batson Assembly of God Church, HWY 105 Batson, Texas. Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday February 9, 2013 at the church with burial to follow in Hardin Chapel cemetery.

Bailey
Sharon Sue Bailey, 72, of Hardin, died Tuesday February 5, 2013. She was a member of the Assembly of God Faith. She was an avid reader, especially mysteries. She loved to crochet . She enjoyed outings with her family. She loved her children and grandchildren and lived a full life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Lela Ellis; father of her children, Albert Bailey.
She is survived by her children, David Bailey and wife Charlotte of Liberty, Matthew Bailey and wife Angelique of Batson, Beth Thibodeaux and husband Jerry of San Antonio, Diane Bailey of Hardin; brother, Tommy Ellis and wife Evelyn of Vidor; sister, Laverne McKee of Delaware, grandchildren, Eric Bailey of Shreveport, LA, Rebekah Bailey of Little Elm, TX, Jessica Herring of Bogota, TX, Cliffton Thibodeaux of Carrollton, TX, Stacey Braxton and husband Mike of Florida, Jeri Donnelle Thibodeaux of Dallas; and 12 great grandchildren.

Monk
Andrea Arlene “Andy” Fountain Monk, 56 of Liberty, Texas and formerly of Mexia, died suddenly on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
She had been battling a rare form of cancer and had been a true believer in her complete and total healing.
Andy was the first born of Curtis A. Fountain (deceased) and Patsy Fountain. She was born in Mexia, Texas on September 13, 1956, and attended Mexia ISD schools where she graduated in 1975. Andy married
William “Bill” R. Monk, son of Claude Monk of Tehuacana and Macie Lynn Monk (deceased), in May 1975, in Livingston, Texas. Andy and Bill had five children and raised them in a very loving and happy, Christian home. Andy’s faith in the Lord and her belief in the Scriptures was a strong presence in her life and she did not waiver from her Christian faith. In fact, it became even stronger, during her battle against cancer.
Andy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bill Monk of Liberty, Texas: five children, Aimee Shelton and her husband Daryl Shelton of Huffman; Jaime Monk-Tellez and her husband Tim Tellez of Dayton; Asa Monk and his wife Mandi Monk of Dayton; Katelyn Monk of Dayton and Kevin Monk of Liberty. She is also survived by six grandchildren: William Ethan Shelton and Erin Shelton of Huffman; Clayton Monk-Tellez and Austin Tellez of Dayton; Brianna Monk and Grace Monk of Dayton, TX.
In addition, Andy is survived by her mother, Patsy Fountain of Mexia; one sister, Mitzi Eves and her husband Tom Eves of Mexia; in-laws Claude and Mildred Monk of Tehuacana; brothers and sisters-in-laws Dick Monk of Houston, John and Jackie Monk of Guymon, Oklahoma and Joe and Charlotte Santana of Schulenburg, Texas, plus numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Curtis A. Fountain; grandfathers and grandmothers, Curtis and Jeffie Fountain and Fred and Lucille Eddy.
The viewing for Andy Monk will be held on Wednesday, February 6, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on February 7 at Cornerstone Church in Liberty, at 10:00 a.m. After which, there will be a graveside service held, Thursday, February 7, at Pt. Enterprise cemetery in Mexia, Texas at 4:00 p.m. All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Andy’s life and her faith in her Savior. Bertha Lee Campbell Mott, 89 of Dayton passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Liberty Dayton Regional Hospital.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow in French cemetery. A gathering of Bertha Lee's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the funeral home.
Bertha Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Mott; grandson, Matt Butler; great granddaughters, Sammi Butler, and Cacy Butler; brothers, Lester, Dewey, and Kenneth Campbell. Bertha Lee retired from Goose Creek ISD. She loved working in the garden, cooking and being with her dogs.

Brantley
Russell Dale Brantley, 54, of Liberty, Texas died Friday, February 1, 2013 at home.
Services for Dale will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Cornerstone Church in Liberty with Rev. Mike Glazener officiating. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Cornerstone Church.
Dale was born March 28, 1958 in Waurika, Oklahoma to parents Charles Russell and Laveda Mae Bowen Brantley. He had been a lifelong resident of the Liberty-Dayton area and was supervisor of the Thrif-Tee Food Centers in Mont Belvieu and Dayton. Dale was very active in his community, volunteering for Ole Tyme Days and TVE parking. He contributed to many functions by setting up sound equipment that Thrif-Tee has provided throughout the years. He enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycle, working in the yard and his work.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his step-father: Bobbie Rae Conway and his brother: Donald Lee Brantley.
He is survived by his wife of: Candy Whitmire Brantley of Liberty; his daughters: Tara Davis and husband Joshua of Delta, Alabama, Sabrina Whitehead and husband Charlie of Dayton; his grandchildren: Matthew, Kira, Elisabeth, Hannah, Leah and Rachel; his sister: Ladonna Spurgeon and husband Buster, Jr. of Dayton; also numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Ira Walter Smith, 71, of Moss Hill, TX passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Kindred Hospital East Houston in Channelview.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. At Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson with Reverend Woody Woodward officiating Serving as pallbearers are Billy Holmes, Mike Moore, David Gillian, Ben Mayeaux, George Gonzales, and Jay Echavarria. Ira was born on April 26, 1941 to his parents George W. Smith and Martha Mahaffey Smith in Gist, Texas. He had live in Highlands, TX for fifteen years before moving to Moss Hill, TX where he had lived for seven years and had retired from Laney Road Boring of Humble, TX as a Truck Driver.
Survivors are his lovely wife Lynda Smith of Moss Hill. Sons Walter Smith of Highlands, Kevin Smith of Moss Hill, Melvin Smith of Highlands, and Marvin Smith of Highlands. Charles A. Jimmerson, age 83, and a resident of Cleveland, Texas for over 50 years, passed away peacefully at his home with his family on Thursday, January 31, 2013.
He was born December 04, 1929 in Andalusia, Alabama to parents Glen and Rosa (Corbett) Jimmerson who preceded him in death along with his loving wife of 55 years Robbie Lucille Jimmerson; granddaughter Heather Childree; and his sister JoAnn Hicks.
He leaves his memories to his children Robbie Dorlene Raborn and husband Steve, Terry Glenn Childree, Brenda Gale Tew and husband Marvin, Shelly J. Stendahl and husband Mike, Kelly J. Jessie Lee Capps, 66 of Dayton died at his residence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Capps. He loved working cars "tinkering". He was an electrician. He loved hunting and being with his family.

Fenoglio
Wanda Sue Fenoglio, 84, of Hutto, TX died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 1, 2013 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home Dayton. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. A gathering of Wanda's family and friends will be from 10:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Wanda was preceded in death by husband, Charles C. Fenoglio; sister, Dorothy; brother, Billy Rex. She worked for Dayton ISD for over 20 years. She was a member of Keneflick Southern Baptist Church. She loved watching birds and working in her garden. She was also a member of the VFW Post 5621 in Liberty Ladies Auxiliary .
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Sue McIntyre and husband, Bob; Sandra Baker and husband, Raymon; son, John Fenoglio and wife, Nancy, Charles Chip Fenoglio and wife, Heidi; sisters, Marcella St. Clair and Naneen Warren and husband, Dave; brother, John Campbell; numerous grand, great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
