Albert Graham 76 of Dam B. died Friday November 16, 2012 at his residence

A service of remembrance will be held Monday November 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 1:00 P.M.on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park & cemetery 1701 Austin Hwy San Antonio, Texas 78218. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday November 18, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

Albert was born in Kenefick, TX on January 19, 1936 to parents Isaiah Lorenzo Graham and Bernice Lorene Bishop. He had lived in San Antonio for 29 years before moving to Dam B, where he lived since 1996 and was retired from William Hearst Newspaper Enterprise and was a U.S. Airforce veteran where he worked in Military Security for 22 1/2 years.

Albert was preceded in death by his 2nd wife Patricia Ann Boyer, brother Travis Graham, sister Mildred Webb, Diana Sue Frazier, Ernestine Smith. Survivors are wife Pauline Graham of Dam B. sons Matthew Graham of Dam B. Steven Kyle of Marysee, TX. Daughters Sherry Graham Hardman of Cocoa Beach, Florida Katherine Barthley of San Antonio, TX Terrie Kyle of Marysee, TX Mary Phelps of Marysee, TX Glenda Prince of Onalaska, TX. Sisters Delores Nolen of Woodville, TX and Millie Ruth Gillen of Jewett, TX 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Kyle, Rusty Champagne, Joshua Champagne, Glen Lummus, Ty Graham, William Graham. Honorary pallbearers are Melvin Mott, Jermaine Singletarry, Christian Graham, and Matthew Graham. Service of remembrance under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services 40847 Hwy 105E. Glowski

Minerva Cortez Glowski, 83, of Splendora, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Splendora First Pentecostal Church, 26480 FM 2090 East, Splendora, TX 77372, with burial following at the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens in Cleveland. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Minerva was born May 5, 1929 in Taylor, to parents; Crispin Cortez and Juanita Hernandez Cortez, a former resident of Galveston, and has resided in Splendora for the past 22 years. She was a member of the Splendora First Pentecostal Church, contributor to many missions and the Homeless Veteran’s Foundation, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and church activities.

Mrs. Glowski was preceded in death by her parents, and most of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 26 years: Dan S. Glowski of Splendora, sons: Ruben Garza of Galveston, Julius Galvan, Jr. and wife Meridith of KS, and Tony Galvan and wife Mary of Pasadena, daughters: Esther Pringle and husband John of MO, Judy Becerra of Alief, Helen Penmen and husband Steve of Cypress, and Kathy Glowski of Huntsville, sister: Juanita Lamas and husband Poncho of Houston, 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joyce

Roy Allen Joyce, Sr was born on November 19, 1938 in Hardin, TX to the late Sam Sr. and Theresa Joyce. He was baptized into the Baptist faith at Olive Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Hardin, TX.

He attended Liberty Training High School in Liberty, TX; Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX where he received a Bachelor of Science; and Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA where he received a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision.

Throughout his lifetime, he served in law enforcement and as an educator in St. Mary and Terrebonne Parishes. For over thirty years, he served the community of Terrebonne Parish as an educator at Oaklawn Junior High School and the Vocational Technical High School in Houma, LA.

Roy was a faithful member of Residence Baptist Church where he sang in the Senior Choir. He took great joy leading the choir to the stands as they marched in on many Sunday mornings.

Roy married his beloved wife, Beverly Litel, on February 16, 1969. Together they have three children: Persephone J Washington (Jerome) of Houma, LA; Courtney J Washington (Jarvis) of Carrollton, TX; and Roy A. Joyce, Jr. of Dallas, TX. He also leaves four sisters and five brothers: Sam Joyce, Jr. (Catherine) of Morton, TX; Stella Moore (Thomas) of Dayton, TX; Imogene Joyce-Whitfield of Dallas, TX; Mildred Joyce of Hardin, TX; Charles Joyce of Dallas, TX; Kenneth Joyce of Dallas, TX; Harold Joyce of Fort Washington, MD; Gregory Joyce of Channelview, TX; and Wilma Joyce-Williams of Dallas, TX; one grandchild, Malcolm J. Washington, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On November 9, 2012, Roy returned to his spiritual home where there will be no more sorrow, no more tears, and no more pain. It is in Heaven with the the Father that he will take his rest. Roy was a wonderful, loving husband, father, brother, family member and friend. He may be gone but will never be forgotten.

Roy is preceded in death by parents, Sam and Theresa Joyce; his sister Betty Jo Joyce; and his great-grandmother, Sallie Roberts.

Linden

Richard Conrad Linden, 85, of New Caney passed away on Thursday November 15, 2012 at a Houston area Hospital.

He was a renaissance man, husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed for his humor and kindness.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Cecil Linden; son, Jay Linden. He is survived by his loving wife, Billie Linden of New Caney; children, Suzy Nead and husband Larry of Weatherford, Daniel Linden and wife Peggy of Weatherford, Stanford Hicks of Dallas, Danny Hicks and wife Donna of Houston, Rocky Hicks and wife Susan of Cosby TN, Kelly Hicks and wife Amanda of Wilmington, OH; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday November 18, 2012 at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services, 40847 HWY 105 E., Batson, TX, 77519, (936) 262-2100 or (936) 366-2222.

Wilkerson

Bobbie Lynn Wilkerson, 59, of Saratoga, passed away Tuesday November 13, 2012. She was a member of West End Baptist Church of Saratoga.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Virgil "VW" Trahan, Sr., daughter, Bobbie Jo Gordon; brother, Willie Virgil "Junior" Trahan, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Donald Wilkerson of Saratoga; mother, Bessie Mae Trahan of Saratoga; daughter, Christy Martin and husband Nelton of Saratoga; brother, Jimmy Trahan and wife Laura of Orange; grandchildren, Cheyenne Hall of Warren, Tyler Martin of Saratoga, Teresa Martin of Saratoga, Dakota Gordon; nieces, Candice Trahan of Orange and Jennifer Trahan of Orange.

Her family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel on Thursday November 15, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. A service of remembrance is scheduled for 12:00 pm. Thursday November 15, 2012 at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel, officiated by Reverend Bruce Crosby and Reverend Frank Aragon. Burial will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nelton Martin, Tommy Blanchard, Donald Wilkerson, Jr., Warner Tripplett, David Hall, Jr. and Norman McCauley. Darrell Werner in named honorary pallbearer.

May

Bobby Glenn May Sr. 75 of Texas City, died Saturday November 10, 2012 in Hull.

A native of Conroe, TX he had had lived in Texas, City most of his life before moving to Hull where he lived for nine years. He was a painter for Local Union# 585 of Texas City.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Jewel May of Hull, son Bobby Glenn May Jr of Texas City, daughter Teresa Yost and husband Paul of Hull. Sister Adren of Algoa, TX nephew Stacy Wolf of Texas, City grandchildren Heather Warren, Monica Bitner, Randi Alexander, Shauna May, Ashley Ydrogo, and Madison May.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson, with Dee Mason officiating. Bobby and his wife loved to travel in their motorhome, he also enjoyed fishing. He was a Handyman where he would work on his house and also loved woodworking on Cabinets. Bobby cherished the time and moments he spent with his family.

Sigler

Robert Ernest Sigler, age 89, triumphed over death by the Grace of God on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

He graduated from Springhill, Louisiana High School in 1939, then moved to Cleveland, Texas where he spent his remaining years. In 1942 he married Johnnie Muriel Marshell and on October 31, 2012 they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary together. He was a distinguished WWII Veteran of the United States Army having served from March 1943 – March 1946. He received the Army Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal-WWII, Purple Heart Medal, and the U.S. Army Sharpshooter Weapons Qualification Badge. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1982, was a Cleveland Volunteer Fireman for many years, and a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland for 70 years and a Deacon for over 50 years.

He was born July 27, 1923 in Springhill, Louisiana to parents Lloyd E. and Aline Sigler who preceded him in death along with one sister and one brother. Survivors include his loving wife Muriel Sigler; daughters Cindy Inge and husband Larry; Linda Berry; sons Charles Sigler and wife Donna, Glenn Sigler and wife Marilyn, William Sigler and wife Laurie. Grandchildren are Marc Whitmire, Brian Sigler, Jana Whitmire, Lauren Brown, Michael Berry, Emily Harris, Sarah Berry, Justin Sigler, and Miriam Berry. Also included are fourteen great-grandchildren, five nephews, one niece, and faithful friends beyond measure.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Russ Tynan and Bro. Tim Holder will preside over funeral services being held Friday, November 16, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Brian Sigler, Mark McCary, Jerome Brown, David Kovach, Adam Harris, Brad Kovach, Marc Whitmire, and Richard Kovach; honorary pallbearers include First Baptist Church Deacons, SSG Michael Berry, and Justin Sigler.

Wright

David O. Wright, age 77, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in Conroe, Texas.

He was born December 02, 1934 in Houston, Texas to parents Orville H. and Nellie M Wright who preceded him in death.

He was a Diamond Shamrock employee nearly 30 years as a relief shift supervisor at the Deer Park industrial chemicals plant. He spent his free time tending his 200-acre spread in Dolen, Texas. He raised registered Brahman cattle for breeding. He kept about 30 momma cows trying to improve the stock by selecting good herd sires, mixing different bloodlines and getting more size on the calves. So over the years he’d gone from breeding a short-legged, big bodied animal to a long-legged, long bodied version that produces leaner meat. Raising cattle was both a hobby and a business. He loved his family dearly. He will be miss by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his devoted wife Lori Wright; his loving daughter April Wright; one sister Mary Nell Dees, one niece Kelley Nevelsteen and husband David; one nephew Brandon Dees; great niece Ayshton and great nephew Alexander; and faithful friends beyond measure.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Nick Van and Bro. Alvin Tomlinson will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, November 17, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Oak Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Cleveland Memorial cemetery. Pallbearers include Winston Gardner, Brandon Dees, Tommy Hext, Gary Wiygul, Cade Marcantell, Howard Smith, David Pittman and Rob Peterson.

Fulcher

Saline Pearl Fulcher, age 71, a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

She was born January 28, 1941 in Splendora, Texas to parents James Wilson and Flossie Bell Pate who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her devoted husband Alvie Lee Fulcher Sr.; daughter Ada Bell Johnson and husband James Sr.; sons Alvie Lee Fulcher Jr. and Rebecca Linsay, Timothy James Sterlin Fulcher and wife Heidi; brother Jimmy Lee Pate and wife Patricia; grandchildren James Johnson Jr., Joel Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Lee Fulcher III, Joshua Fulcher, Mark Fulcher, Whitney Fulcher, Melanie Fulcher Smith; great-grandchildren Skylar Jayden Linsay, Heather Ream, Reba Ream, Anthony, Peyton Johnson, Kate Johnson, R.J. Perry, Kaden Fulcher, and Marlee Thornton; one nephew Jimmy Pate Jr.; two nieces Beverly Clark and Lori Stone; and faithful friends beyond measure.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Thomas Bolton, Bro. Melvin Holifield and Bro. David Moore will preside over funeral services being held Saturday, November 17, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Lee Fulcher Jr., Joel Johnson, Josh Fulcher, Jimmy Pate Jr., Mark Fulcher, James Johnson Jr. and Curtis Johnson.

Somers

Brian Andrew Somers, age 6, was granted his angel wings on Monday, November 12, 2012.

He was born October 13, 2006 in Humble, Texas to parents Keith Somers and Maria Pesina. Brian is joining his Daddy in Heaven. Brian’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Brian was a loving child; his smile, his laughter, and his vitality for life will always remain in the hearts of his loving family. Brian will always be remembered, he will always be loved.

Along with his Daddy, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents Virginia Dominguez and Jesus Morales; and his nephew Thomas A. Pesina. He leaves his memories to his mother Maria Pesina; and his grandparents Clyde and Beverly Somers; his sisters Erika, Allison, Marcela, Daniela, and Abigail; his brothers, Thomas, Dustin, and Andrew; nephews Adrian, Roberto, Edgar, David, and Damian; nieces Giselle, Daisha; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other cherished family members and friends.

Brian and his Daddy will have joint visitation Thursday, November 15, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Brian will also have visitation Friday, November 16, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with in interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.

Somers

Keith Dane Somers, age 44, died, Saturday, November 10, 2012. His son, Brian Andrew Somers, age 6, joined his Dad Monday, November 12, 2012.

Keith was a resident of Cleveland, Texas; born July 19, 1968 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was a Shipping Manager in the Petroleum Industry. He loved sports and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a loving son, devoted father, brother and steadfast friend. His family was the light of his life; he will be remembered lovingly.

He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Helen Rucker and Pansy and Clyde R. Somers. Survivors include his children Dustin Dane Somers, Allison Noelle Somers and Andrew Ryan Somers; parents Clyde and Beverly Somers; two brothers Kevin Lee Somers and wife Katina, Kyle David Somers and wife Cassie; nieces and nephews Kyndol, Kelton, Kody, David, and Dillon; uncle Larry Rucker and wife Nancy, George Rucker and wife Martha; aunt Betty Parker; special friend Marie Pesina; numerous other cherished family members and treasured friends beyond measure.

Keith and his son Brian will have joint visitation held Thursday, November 15, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Keith’s funeral service will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.

Flores

Glen Edward Flores, 81 died at his residence Sunday, November 11, 2012. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P. M. on Friday November 23, 2012 in Houston National cemetery under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Clarin Flores and his parents, Marshall and Myrtle Terry Flores. He loved fishing, hunting and being with his family and friends.

Glen is survived by his daughter, Jessica Banning; grandchildren, Albert Jones and wife, Jackie, Gay Lynn Cremer and husband, Cassey, Clyde Jones; great grandchildren, Destiny, Elizabeth, Albert Jr., Casity, Dillon, Nicholas, Jessane; and a host of other family and friends.

Ozan

Michael G. Ozan, age 58 of Ames, died in Kirbyville on November 13, 2012 at his deer lease.

Michael was known to all as Big O. He was born on September 18, 1954 in Liberty, son of Ofield Ozan and Aledia Walters Ozan. He attended West Liberty High School. He received a certificate of welding from Lee College. Big O worked as a yardmaster at ARCO for over twenty years. He then went to work for ICO Polymer as a supervisor for over twelve before retiring with a medical condition. Michael loved fishing and hunting with his nephew and best friend Al Perry. He had a heart as big as Texas. Big O acted as a father to his niece, Kimberly Kidd, after her father’s death when she was four years old. He loved playing dominoes, having a drink and eating. His was best described as a diamond in the rough.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Johnny Ozan, Favian Trahan, Fredrick Ozan and sister; Berthina Ozan Perry. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, sister; Lucille Ozan of Houston, brothers; Woodrow Ozan of Ames, Oneil Ozan of Port Arthur, Wallace Ozan of Baytown and numerous nieces and nephews. Big O treated his nieces and nephews like they were his own children.

Services for Michael G. Ozan will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11am at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Ames, TX with the Rev. David Edwards officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to service from 9am to 11am with a rosary starting at 10:15am. Burial will follow at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic cemetery.
