Funeral Service for Eugene Thibodeaux, Sr. 79, of Raywood, Texas will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Ames, Texas with the Father Sebastian Myladiyil, S.V.D. officiating.

Visitation will be held at Wells Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services with burial in Our Mother of Mercy cemetery, Ames, Texas under the direction of Wells Funeral Services, Liberty, Texas.

Eugene Thibodeaux, Sr., 79, died on Monday, November 12, 2012, at the Christus Saint Elizabeth Hospital.

Eugene was born on November 7, 1933, a son of the late Claude and Lenora Thibodeaux of Raywood, Texas. Eugene married Augustine Trahan, to this union was blessed with six sons: Danny (Bernita) Thibodeaux; Richard (Helen) Thibodeaux; Eugene Jr., (Brendetta) Thibodeaux; Leslie (Lynn) Thibodeaux; Paul (Tina) Thibodeaux; Deceased: Tony (Debra) Thibodeaux.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife: Augustine Thibodeaux; He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lenora Thibodeaux; son Tony Thibodeaux; and grandson Richard Thibodeaux, Jr.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife: Augustine Thibodeaux and his five sons; sister: Geraline (Jerome) Daniels; two aunts Leona Guidry and Florence Thibodeaux; cousin Bert Richard; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Andress

Billie Janet O'Neal Andress, 83, of Dayton died at her residence on Sunday, November 11, 2012.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved to read and loved her dog Molly.

Billie attended San Angelo High School and was a legal secretary for the law office of Jerry Andress.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 16, 2012 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, November 19, 2012 in Houston National cemetery.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bama O'Neal; brother, Jerry ONeal. Billie moved to the Dayton area in 1980.

She served as Jerry's legal Secretary for many years. Billie attended First Baptist Church of Dayton.

She graduated of San Angelo High school in 1946. Billie saw many parts of the world following the love of her life for over twenty years, Jerry Andress.

Billie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Andress of Dayton; daughters, Terry Leigh H'Lavaty and husband, Martin of Lake Tahoe, NV, Janie Lynn Andress of Las Vegas; sons, Ted Allen Andress and wife, Varshay of Littleton, CO, Andy Glen Andress and wife, Joanie of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Joseph Indian School, 1301 North Main, Chamberlain, SD, 57326.

Nixon

Eva Christine Nixon, 98, was born at home, August 7, 1914 to Tom and Mattie Harman in Bays Chapel Community, Walker County, Texas. She died at her residence on Saturday, November 10, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park in Houston. A gathering of Eva's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the funeral home.

Eva was the oldest of 9 children. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie C. Morris and her husbands, Eddie Morris, Henry Lyles and Sam Nixon; four brothers and one sister.

She is survived her daughter, Margaret Lewis and husband, Robert Lewis Sr. of Huffman, Texas, daughter-in-law, Yvonne Morris of Wheatland, Wyoming, seven grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, three great-great grandsons; brothers, Charlie Harman and wife, Lori of Colorado Springs, Co., Eugene Harman and wife, Barbara of Baytown, Texas, James Harman and wife, Pat of Woodville, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was known for her love of flowers. She also had a "Green" Thumb to grow just about anything from a seed or by sticking a stick in the ground and having it bloom a week later. Her chicken and dumplings were loved by all and she enjoyed making them. She was a very independent lady who retired from K-Mart and Wal-Mart.

She started school at Huntsville, Texas. She graduated from Richards School in Richards, Texas. She being the oldest of nine children, helped raise her brothers and sister while helping in the cotton fields. She also was a member of First Baptist Church of Huffman, Texas.

Alexander

Aaron D. Alexander, 49, of Dayton, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Aaron was born October 25, 1963 in El Paso, to parents; Frank S. Alexander and Greta A. Whitaker, a former resident of Kingsland, and has resided in Dayton for the past year. He was an electrician by trade and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, small engine repair, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered, as a man who was always willing to help others in need. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his father: Frank S. Alexander. He is survived by his son: Ian D. Alexander, mother: Greta A. Whitaker Hutchison, brother: Mark Alexander and fiancé Dallas Henry, sister: Vickie Fitzpatrick and husband James, nephews: Travis Johnston and Allen Currie, nieces: Stacey Alexander and April Alexander, and numerous other relatives, and friends.

Patterson

Mona Faye Patterson, 80 of Anahuac passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Funeral services will at 2:00 P.M. on Monday November 12th in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of Mona's family and friends will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Monday at the Funeral Home.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, George and Luna Patterson; brother, Leo Buster Patterson and Jack Patterson; sisters, Georgia Morman, Doris Jones, Bobbie Jean Ross.

Mona is survived by her son, Clint Moss; daughters, Carolyn D'Arcy, Pam Gresham, Karen Wilson, step son, Joe Laurence Haynes; five granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Mills

Roger Earl Mills, Sr., 60, of Kountze, died Friday November 9, 2012 at his residence.

He was a very easy going, bighearted man. He loved to bar-be-cue. He always carried candy in his pocket for the kids. He was a great inspiration to those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Quinton Mills; son, Roger Earl Mills, Jr.; brother-in-law, Lester Dees; grandchildren, Desiree Lynn Mills and Brian Mills.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanie Bailey Townsend of Austin; children, Elizabeth Mullins and husband Curtis of Lumberton, Debbie Lynn Mills of Kountze, Delton Marpoe of Kountze; grandchildren, Maynard Sorto, Sayda Sorto, Dameon Mullins, Linsi Sorto, Charles Mills, Quinton Sells; good friend/ex-wife, Debby Mills of Kountze; siblings, Jean Kirkman and husband Wes of Austin, Joseph Mills of Austin, Lynn Upton and husband Jim of Hutto, Mary Soltan of Burleson, William Townsend of Austin, Robert Townsend and wife Glenna of Buna, Kenneth Townsend and wife Sandy of Bridge City and Rodney Townsend and wife Debbie of Bridge City. His family will receive friends at Central Baptist Church of Kountze, Wednesday November 14, 2012 from 10:00 am. until 12:00 pm. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm. Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Old Hardin cemetery in Kountze, officiated by Reverend Aaron Leger.

Pallbearers are Delton Marpoe, Chris Lyles, Jamal Sells, Curtis Mullins, Richard Lyles and Harrison McMillan. Honorary pallbearer will be Maynard Sorto.

Johnson

Carroll Dean Johnson 76, of Hardin, died Thursday November 8, 2012 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Carroll was Born in Liberty, TX on August 29, 1936 to his parents Otis Beaman Johnson and Cordie Ora Weaver. He was a retired Roughneck with Byron Shivers Oilfield Swabbing Service of Liberty and had lived in the Hardin and Liberty area for most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lynda Johnson of Hardin, son Darryll Dean Johnson and wife Penny of Hardin. Daughter Belynda Carol Carranco of Hardin, brother Burl Eldridge Johnson and wife Delores of Liberty. Grandchildren Devyn Elliott, Rayn Johnson, and Honour Carranco.

Great grandchildren Bella Elliott, and Waco Elliott. The family will be receiving friends on Monday November 12, 2012 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel. Schroeder

William "Kurt" Schroeder 37 of Sour Lake died Thursday November 1, 2012 in Beaumont.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm., Friday, November 9, 2012 at China cemetery in China, Texas. Born in Beaumont, he had lived in Sour, Lake most of his life and was a Machine Operator.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Jill Schroeder.

Survivors are his father and stepmother Britt and Kierstan Schroeder of China, mother Debbie Buckley Kelley of Sour Lake, Sons William Kurt Schroeder Jr of LaBelle, Robert Dutch Schroeder of Lufkin, daughters Karlea Lynn Schroeder of Sour Lake, Madison Gayle Schroeder of LaBelle. Brother Darryl Kyle Schroeder of Sour Lake, sister Brittany Jill Schroeder of Lufkin and grandparents Daryll and Flo Massey of Sour Lake. Kurt made friends every where he went and had a great personality and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Cook

Michael James Cook, 62, of Dayton passed away Thursday, November 08, 2012 in Sugarland after an extended illness.

Michael was born January 15, 1950 in Santa Maria, California to parents, Edward Christopher Cook and Miriam Noreen Stuart Cook and was a 1968 graduate of Lutcher Stark High School in Orange, Texas. Michael served in the United States Navy from 1970 until 1978. He proudly served on the Naval submarine USS Andrew Jackson. Michael was retired from Texas Instruments where he was an engineer equipment technician for 33 years. He and his wife Peggy lived in Sugarland for 19 years before moving to Dayton a few months ago. In Dayton they are members of The Trinity Baptist Church. Michael enjoyed traveling, photography, and was a very talented picture framer. He most of all loved being with his family and totally devoted to his wife Peggy.

Visitation for Michael will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church, 408 West Clayton, Dayton, Texas 77535. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Blackburn officiating. A private family burial will follow at Houston National cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Jimmie C. Cook, son-in-law: Stephen Slover and nephew: Alex Cook. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years: Peggy Hall Cook of Dayton; daughters: Dusty Lee Hopkins and husband Thomas of Maine, Anise Michelle Sinare and husband Idrissa of Houston, and Laura Slover of Crosby; son: Chris J. Hall and wife Debbie of Houston; grandchildren: Nina Hall, Rose Hall, Madison Martinez, Zachary Martinez, Holly Slover, James Hopkins, Michelle Hopkins, Jordan Hopkins, and Youssouf Sinare; great grandchildren: Kaylee Pena and Laramie Babcock; brothers: Patrick A. Cook and wife Patty of Orange, Mark A. Cook and wife Sophie of Alvarado, Stephen F. Justin Blake Allred 25, of El Campo Texas died Saturday November 03, 2012 in Lufkin, Texas.

Justin was a Service Technician for Quality Lease in El Campo, Texas. He is survived by his Father; and stepmother Darien Wynn and Jennifer Allred of Lufkin, TX., Step Father; Jessie Mobley Sr. and mother; Frances Renee Jones Mobley of El Campo, TX. Brother; Travis Wade Allred of Lufkin, TX., Half Sister; Rachel Allred of Lufkin, TX., and Special Friend; Rowan Gibbons of Bastrop, TX. Step Grandfather; John Roy Mobley of Daisetta, TX., Maternal Grandparents John D. Jones, and Mildred Ann Jones both of Semmes, Alabama. Samuel Harold Anders, 47 of Mont Belvieu died on Monday, November 5, 2012 at his residence.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.

A memorial service will be held at his residence on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Services are under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

Sammy was preceded in death by his mother, Billy Joan Hodson; uncle, Gene Adams. He loved fishing, boat riding and working. He had a heart of Gold and never met a stranger.

Sammy is survived by his daughter, Janie Hodge Rice and husband, Marshall Rice; grandchildren, Trevor Hodge, Landyn Rice, and Kaedence Rice; brothers, Walter Anders and wife, Julie; Willie Anders; and a host of other family and friends.

Thomas

Barbara Lee Thomas, 67 of Liberty, died Sunday November 4, 2012 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital of Baytown.

She was a strong-willed woman and a loving mother. She was a good grandmother and best friend. She had a big heart. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Bertie Lee Gresham; son, Darrell Wade Tranton, Sr.; sister, Linda Smith; grandchildren, David Blake McDaniel, Amanda Davis and Kaci Sthram.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickey "Sissy" Henley of Moss Bluff, Cathy McDonald and husband Terry of Liberty, Sharon "Buddha" Warden and husband Alan of Kountze and Karen "Pumkin" McDaniel and husband David of Moss Bluff; brother, Timmy Land of Moss Bluff; sisters, Diana Burch and husband Dennis of Moss Bluff and Joyce Barnhart of Mobile, Alabama; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel on Thursday November 8, 2012 from 5:00 pm. until 9:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 am. Friday November 9, 2012 at Anahuac cemetery in Anahuac, Texas, officiated by Rev. Darrell McAdams.

Gisele

Mary-Marquerite “Gigi” Gisele age 71 died November 6, 2012 at her home on Dayton.

She was born in Quebec, Canada March 15, 1941 the daughter of the late Alfred Beauclair and Germaine Guay Beauclair. Mary-Marquerite worked for numerous years for the Sheridan Hotel as a Hotel Manager. She also was the owner operator of Gigi’s Sandwich and Game room in Dayton. She enjoyed cards, sewing, crocheting, and scary movies but, most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Maurice Nicol.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Freddy Nicol of Jacksonville, Florida, daughters Sharon Nicol of Dayton, and Michelle Nicol of Galveston. She also leaves her grandchildren, Denise Cowan and husband Jeremy, Jacob Whitney, Ashley Nicol, Maxine Whitney, and Niki Whitney, as well as great-grandchildren Oren Cowan and Ephram Cowan.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas.
