Boutin

James D. “J.D.” Boutin, Sr., 75, of Dayton, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the Magnolia Place Nursing Home in Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at French cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

J.D. was born January 1, 1936 in Honey Island, to parents; Clovis Boutin and Georgia Sue Sellers, a former resident of Saratoga, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 51 years. He was a graduate of the Saratoga High School class of 1954, retired superintendent from Brown and Root, a former volunteer for the United Way, and member of the Calvary Baptist Church and Pope Hunting Club. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Boutin was preceded in death by his father: Clovis Boutin, mother: Georgia Sue Sellers Murphy, son: Curtis Lee Boutin, and sister: Bobbie Spencer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Bonnie Thornton Boutin of Dayton, son: J. D. Boutin, Jr. and wife Patricia of Dayton, daughters: Janet Boutin of Dayton and Kimberley Davis and husband George of Porter, grandchildren: James D. Boutin, III of OK, Curtis Boutin of Dayton, Robert W. Blue, Jr. and wife Misty of Dayton, and Crystal Eppinette and husband Vernon, Jr. of Dayton, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Moulder

Georgia Bell Moye Moulder, 91, of Thicket, died Wednesday December 7, 2011 in Rye.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday December 10, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Gideon Watson Of The Hardin United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Felps cemetery in Thicket. The family will be receiving friends on Friday December 9, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

Georgia was born on August 17, 1920 in Thicket, to Walter West Moye and Leona Brackin Moye. She had lived in Thicket most of her life and was a retired secretary with Finger Furniture of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Moulder parents Walter and Leona Moye, and brother Horace Van Moye. Survivors are brother Wayne F. Moye of Beaumont, sister Mary Scearce of Rye, and chosen family Sissy Collins, T.J. Lawson, Angelina Gonzales and John Cain all of Rye and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Pallbearers are T.J. Lawson, John Cain, Walter Moye, Mike Moye, Chris Collins, Dustin Collins.

Thomas

Frank Allen Thomas, 76, of Moss Hill, died Wednesday December 7, 2011.

He was a long time boiler maker and tank builder and construction superintendent. He enjoyed working on his place and being around family.

He is survived by his wife, Zena Anderson Thomas of Moss Hill; additional family, David Kent Richards and wife Roxann of Moss Hill, Dana Louise Stuart of Hardin, Jimmy and Jeanette Weaver of Dousette; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His family will receive friends Friday December 9, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Moss Hill. A service of remembrance will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday December 10, 2011 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Carlton Bailey. Burial will follow at Moss Hill cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Anderson Richards, Casey Dale Stuart, Caleb Allen Stuart, Robert Lloyd Ogden, Alfred E. Cade and Roger Smithson.

Brocco

William Morgan Brocco, 34, of Liberty died at his home on Sunday, December 4, 2011.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2011, from 1pm until 2pm at Allison Funeral Service. Liberty, Texas.

Funeral services will follow at 2pm, at the funeral home.

Morgan was born in Liberty, Texas on February 24, 1977, to parents, Billy Brocco and Jeannine Gilliland Brocco. He was a graduate of Liberty High School. Morgan had been employed with Liberty Forge for several years.

Morgan was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a son, Austin Swindle, a brother, Wesley Brocco, a sister, Rena Mai Sheard and husband John, nephews, J.T. Sheard, Rylan Sheard, William Joseph Brocco and Eric Brocco.

Services are under the direction of Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis St., Liberty, Texas 77575.

Strokos

Kandice Michelle Strokos, infant child, died Sunday December 4, 2011.

She is survived by her parents Frank, Jr. and Angela Strokos of Baytown; grandparents, David and Vickie Parker of Highlands, Tommy Brown of Baytown, Frank Strokos, Sr. and Carol Taylor of Orange, Belinda Olson of Anahuac; great grandparents Donald and Mary Chesson of Hardin; brother, Robert Strokos of Baytown; sisters, Haylei Jenkins of Baytown, Mylei Strokos of Baytown; aunts, Lindi Brown of Baytown, Juli Brown of Baytown, Tammy Hiatt of Baytown, LaVonda Norris of Corpus Christi, Rhonda Strokos of Anahuac; uncles, Kevin Brown of Liberty, Christopher Mayes of Baytown, Kevin Watson of Baytown and Christopher Keen of Texarkana.

The family will receive friends Friday December 9, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God Church in Batson, TX, A service of remembrance will follow Friday December 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God Church in Batson, officiated by Reverend C.W. “Bill” Campbell. Burial will follow at Cooke cemetery in Liberty.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Watson and Heath Dodson. Honorary pallbearer is Christopher Mayes.

Guyewski

Anna Guyewski "Nanny", 95, of Anahuac, died at her home on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Anahuac under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of Anna's family and friends will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the church.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Guyewski, son, Fred Guyewski, grandson, Kevin Guyewski and great-grandson, Dakota Carr. Anna loved spending time with her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Anahuac.

Mrs. Guyewski is survived by her daughter, Sue McGowan and husband, Rodney; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson and a host of other family and friends.

Flores

Benito Flores, 59, of Anahuac, died on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Bayside Hospital in Anahuac. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Anahuac under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. Interment will follow in Jackson cemetery. A gathering of Jose's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 6th at the funeral home with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Benito was preceded in death by his parents, Eustaquio and San Juana Ramirez Flores. He loved being with his family, fishing and riding around town.

Benito is survived by his wife, Damitila Uribe; children, Enrique, Benito, Ramon, Victor, Graciano, Romana, Sabino, Felipe, Florentino, Humberto and Marcos Flores. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren.

Williams

Cecil D. Williams, Sr., 66, of Kenefick, died Sunday, December 4, 2011, at the Allenbrook Healthcare Center in Baytown.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Pierce officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Cecil was born July 21, 1945 in Dayton, to parents; James E. and Ellene Berry Williams, and has resided in the Dayton area throughout his life. He was a retired carpenter, raised in the Assembly of God faith, and enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, wood working, and the outdoors.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Jerome “J.J.” Williams, and grandson: Ryan J. “Batman” Williams. He is survived by his sons: C. D. Williams, Jr. and wife Theresa of Dayton, Cy Williams and wife Shannon of Emory, and Dallas Williams and wife Jaime of LaGrange, sisters: Ada Mire of Houston, Bonnie Byerley of Dayton, Ricki Beard of Dayton, Mary Landrum Alba, and Angie Williams of Emory, nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Hamilton

Harry Lee Hamilton, age 70, of Dayton, Texas, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011.

He was born November 11, 1941 in Hallettsville, Texas to parents, Harry G. and Melba Rae Hamilton who preceded him in death along with his son, Marcus Hamilton.

He will be remembered loving by his wife, Phyllis Hamilton; sons, Titus Hamilton, Lucas Hamilton, Tomas Hamilton; daughters, Zilke Miller, Debbie Blank, and Christy Rogers; grandchildren, Kristi, Heather, Crystal, Deborah, Melinda, Tyler, Marcus, Nathan, Tiffanie, Breanna, Cory, Cameron, Brandon, Madison, Morgan, and Meagan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other treasured family members and faithful friends throughout the years.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 02, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church on Hwy 321, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 03, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church; Bro. Ken Smith presiding. Interment will follow at Ryan cemetery.

Randolph

Funeral Service will be held for Gracie Randolph, 77, of Dayton, Texas, at 11 AM on Saturday December 3, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Dayton, with the Reverend Amos L Horton, Officiating, burial in Acie cemetery, Dayton under the direction of Wells Funeral Service, Liberty.

A retired school teacher for Dayton Independent School District she died, Monday, November 28, 2011 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Baytown.

Mrs. Randolph will lie in state at the funeral home from 2PM until 6PM on Friday, December 2. Visitation will be held at Pleasant Hill from 9AM until time of service.

To cherish her memory she leaves her husband of forty four years: Earl Randolph; six sons: Everett Lynn Randolph, of Nome, Glenn Edwin Randolph of Pasadena, Earl L. Randolph, Jr., of Dayton, Ervin Dwain Atkins and Robert Randolph, Sr., both of Crosby and Elton Ray Randolph of Dayton. Three daughters: Ivy Santiago and Andrea Denise David, both of Kingwood and Tammy Travoyan Walker, of Humble; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grand-children and a host of other relative and friends

Chavez

Jose Antonio Chavez, 61, of Anahuac, died on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Anahuac under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac.. Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of Jose's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 4th at the funeral home with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Leonides Servin Chavez and 2 sisters. He loved being with his family and baseball.

Jose is survived by his wife of 33 years, Eva Chavez; sons, Omar Chavez, Mario Chavez and wife, Becca, Hector Chavez; daughters, Angelica Chavez, Alexis Chavez; grandchildren, Emily Chavez, and J.J. Galindo; 7 sisters, and 5 brothers and a host of other family and friends.

Gatlin

Ruth Gatlin, 91, of Liberty, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Liberty Health Care in Liberty. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Palms Memorial Park under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. A gathering of Ruth's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the funeral home.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Robert Gatlin, son, Charles Martin Gatlin, brother, Lee Jackson and grandson, Donnie Hughes. Ruth loved being around her family.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Jim Hughes and wife Brenda, Jack Hughes and wife Georgia Ann, Bob Hughes and wife, Marilyn; daughter, Donna Curry and husband, Jerry; fourteen grandchildren and a host of other great, great-great grandchildren and friends.

Dennison

Elouise Foley Dennison, age 94, died November 29, 2011 in Liberty, Texas.

She was born January 10, 1917 in San Augustine, Texas, the seventh of eight children. Her parents were Mary Willie Sims Foley and Hugh Foley. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1933 and from Baylor University in 1937 with a B.A. Degree in English. She married George Felton Dennison on August 5, 1938.

Elouise and Felton had three children, Gary Felton Dennison, Elouise Ann Dennison Normand and Melanee Carol Dennison Mowery (Cliff), as well as a godchild, Gay Wesley Warren Gaddis (Lee).

Elouise was a devoted wife, incredible mother, engaged and encouraging grandmother and faithful friend. She was prompt and practical in responding to the needs of others.

An accomplished homemaker, Elouise spent countless hours providing home-cooked meals, handmade clothes and handwritten notes, letters, poems and parodies to lift the spirits of those around her.

A farmer’s wife who supported her husband in his vocation, Elouise was a member of the Flying Farmers Association, which honored the agricultural industry in the State of Texas.

Elouise lived her entire life in commitment to Christ. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Liberty, where she taught Bible studies and classes, including the Gleaners Class, then the Faith Class, and was active in the Women’s Bible Class. Elouise was a founding member of the Coterie Club of Liberty, As a consummate learner and teacher, she was a tutor and substitute teacher at Liberty High School for 25 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband and seven siblings, Elouise is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2 at Allison Funeral Home at 1101 N. Travis St., Liberty, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 at First United Methodist Church, 539 Main Street, Liberty, Texas and the burial service at Cooke Memorial cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Liberty.
