Mr. Nathaniel Lee Kelley, 77, of Dayton, Texas died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Liberty after an extended illness.
Nathaniel was born September 8, 1933 in Dayton, Texas to parents, Willie Lee Kelley and Sedonia Girard Kelley of Dayton, Texas. Mr. Kelley graduated from Colbert High School in Dayton, a member of the Class of 1953 where he played football and other sports. Before retiring he worked for Brown and Root, National Pipe and Tube, and his last job was for Wal-Mart where he worked for over 15 years. He was a member of the Ark of Life Ministry in Dayton. Kelley enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, traveling with his family and work. He loved life and making people laugh.
Services for Mr. Kelley will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Dayton with interment to follow at Palms Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday morning at the funeral home.
Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his mother and father; his grandparents, Odelia & Eugene Girard that raised him after the death of his mother at two years old, his daughter, Barbara Curtis, and his sister, Berdinie Branch. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Betty Kelley of Dayton, his daughter: Sedonia Jackson of Katy; four grandchildren: Phyllis Curtis of Dayton, Jennifer Curtis of Dayton, Preston Jackson of Houston, and Fran Charles Jackson of Houston; six great-grandchildren: Christopher Young, Joseph Wickliff, Jolan Curtis, Sha Kara Scott, Sha Leah Scott, Jonyia Alexander; son-in-law: Bennie Curtis of Dayton; sister Bertha Hartwell of Port Arthur; also numerous nieces, and nephews, a host of beloved cousins and friends
Boyer
Jacob Vaughn Boyer was born November 11, 1996, and baptized into the Christian faith on March 22, 1998.
He entered his eternal home on May 2, 2011. Jacob is survived by his father, Kyle, his mother, Shannon, and his brother, Shaun. Jacob is also survived by a Grandmother: Dean Talkington, a Grandfather: Ted Boyer, and uncles and aunts: Kevin and Viviann Boyer, Dale and Michelle Brown; Scott and Jeong-Won Talkington.
Graveside services were at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday May 7, 2011 at Magnolia Memorial Park under the director of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

White
Belinda White 59 of Victoria TX, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 in her home.
Belinda recently relocated from Charlton Massachusetts.
Belinda is survived by her mother June McAdams of Marshall TX, her 2 sons Ethan White of Whitinsville Massachusetts, and Brandon Green of Wheaton Illinois.
Her caregiver and cousin Bryanne Adams and best friend Kathy McLeod. Brother Terry Davis and wife Sharon.
Belinda graduated in 1969 from Marshall High School and went on to North Texas State University sorority Alpha Phi graduating with her degree in Secondary Education.
Belinda taught English and Biology in West Virginia. Later Belinda achieved her degree from The University of Pittsburg in Physical Therapy.
Following graduation Belinda worked in several capacities as a Physical Therapist, Belinda's passion was working pediatrics.
As she worked in schools and clinics Belinda had worked in Southbridge Public School System in Massachusetts for 11 years before moving to Victoria where she continued in pediatrics.
Working for Health Force Pedi Rehab, Belinda was a student of yoga, Pilates and also enjoying belly dancing gardening, antiquing, hiking the beach and kayaking and cooking.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday May 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson with Reverend Jeff Blizzard officiating.
Interment will follow at Felps cemetery in Thicket. The family will be receiving friends also on Wednesday starting at 1:00 P.M. until time of service at Faith & Family Chapel.
Vallee
Eleanor Vallee, 94, of Batson, died Tuesday May 3, 2011 at Liberty-Dayton Regional hospital in Liberty.
A native of Boyce Louisiana she had lived in Batson many years and was a retired School Teacher.
Survivors are daughters Mary Huffsmith and Frances Turregano. Grandchildren Vincient Turregano, Bailee Huffsmith, William Huffsmith.
A graveside service was held 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 7, 2011 at Henderson-James Hill cemetery in Boyce Louisiana.
Kay
Rosa H. Kay, 101, of Baytown, died on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at St. James Nursing Home in Baytown.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow in Magnolia Memorial Park cemetery in Dayton. A gathering of Rosa’s family and friends will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rosa was born on April 12, 1910 in Anderson, Texas to Mark and Frances Ulkie McClosky. Rosa was the youngest of nine children. She retired from Hugh Tool in Houston on February 1, 1974 after 30 years of services.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Frances Ulkie McClosky, sisters, Agnes Damek, Violet Goar, Albena Baker, Elizabeth Moreland and Julie McClosky; brothers, Stash, Edde and Charlie McClosky; nieces, Mildred Damek Ripkowski and Adelle McClosky Derrington.
Rosa is survived by nephews, A.A. Buddy McClosky of Pasadena, TX. and Paul Damek Liberty, TX; nieces, Ruby Vyoral of Liberty, TX., Cornelia Klee Ripkowski of Baytown, TX., Jeanette Mullunex, Beaumont, TX., and Maxine Morland Gray, Memphis, TN., several great nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Hill
Ronald Lloyd “Ronnie” Hill, age 62, died at his home Sunday, May 8, 2011 with his beloved family by his side.
Ronnie was born in Baytown, January 5, 1949 the son of Elmer Lloyd Hill and Juanice Brown Hill. Ronnie was a meat inspector for over twenty-five years and a graduate of Liberty High School. He enjoyed farming, ranching and being around people.
He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Lloyd Hill.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-one years, Maxine Hill of Raywood, mother Juanice Hill of Raywood, son Everitt Hill wife Melinda of Hull, daughter Jordyn Cline of Raywood, sister Barbara Westbrook and husband Richard of Smith’s Station, AL., four grandchildren, Devyn, Dennis, Seth and Kasidy Hill. In addition he leaves numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held 2PM Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas.
Paré
E.J. “Frenchie” Paré, 89, of Dayton, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Houston, Texas.
He was born July 10, 1921 in Bunkie, Louisiana. He had lived in Dayton since 1943, began working for General Crude and retired from Mobil Oil. Frenchie was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Dayton where he served on the Bereavement Committee and was a member of the Joy Group.
Services for Mr. Paré will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Paré was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.M. Paré; his brothers: Harold “Red” & Wilbert; and his sister; Benita. He is survived by his wife of 67 years: Frances Taber Paré of Dayton; sons: Jimmy Paré & wife Cyndy of Liberty and Ronnie Paré and wife Pamela of Dayton; grandchildren: Torrie, Andrew, and Emily; great-grandson: Ryland; and sister: Glo Hooter of Louisiana; also numerous other relatives & a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial be made to the First Baptist Church, Dayton.
Williams
Mabel Rosa Trahan Williams, affectionately known as Nanny, was born April 20, 1914, in Creole, Louisiana. In 1930 she married
Elmer Williams, and the couple made their home in Daisetta, Texas. Nanny was a lifelong member of the Hull-Daisetta community and Daisetta’s Central Baptist Church.
As a fifth-grader, Nanny won the Louisiana state spelling bee competition and kept the medal among her prized possessions. She was an avid gardener and skilled seamstress but was best known for her wonderful Cajun cooking. She remained a voracious reader and lover of music throughout her life.
Nanny was preceded in death by: her father; Moise Trahan, mother; Mamie Kebodeaux, husband; Elmer Williams, two daughters; Marilyn Barrier, Jo Ann Williams, granddaughter; Pattijean Barrier, grandson; David Barrier, sister; Arece Battarbee, two brothers; Clarence and Roy Trahan.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Hundley and husband Sam of Hull, Sharon Ferguson and husband Elvis of Mont Belvieu, and one son, Daniel Williams of Hull.
She was the grandmother of 12 children, including Nathan Barrier and wife Cindy, Tim Barrier and wife Mary, John Barrier and wife Dottie; Glenn Williams and wife Rachel, Eric and Rae Ann Williams; Dianne Brazell, Darla Elder and husband Jason, Sammy Hundley; Angie Clift and husband Scot, Steve Ferguson and wife Leah, Brent Ferguson and wife Zena.
She was great-grandmother to 22 children, including Ned Barrier and wife Dana, Katy Leiskau and husband James, Andrew Barrier; Justin Barrier and wife Hayli, Amanda Pavliska; Jessica Lanier, Jenna Brett and husband Kory; Joel Barrier, Jennifer Vestal and husband Bobby; Garrett Williams; Michelle Merendino and husband Jared, Jami Watts and husband Clayton, Karah Brazell; Cory Elder and wife Leah, Jordan Elder and wife Sami; Matthew and Micaela Hundley; Alyssa and Aryn Clift; Blake, Cade, and Trevor Ferguson.
She was great-great-grandmother to 16 children, including Macey and Brady Barrier; Jaxson and Luke Leiskau; Anna Grace Barrier; Kaylin and Korbin Pavliska; Abbey Jean and Audrey Lanier; Emma and Ellie Brett; Dani Perkins, Kendall and Isabella Merendino; Maliya and Kenna Vestal.
Many thanks to Nanny’s innumerable friends and extended family members who enriched her life by provided ongoing love and support. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011, from 6pm until 8pm at Allison Funeral Service, Liberty, Texas. Funeral Services will be May 3, 2011 at 2pm, at Central Baptist Church, Daisetta, Texas with burial to follow in Oakdale cemetery, Daisetta, Texas.

Connaly
Julius Franklin “Skeeter” Connaly, 57, of Dayton, died on Monday, May 01, 2011 in M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Park. A gathering of Skeeter’s family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Skeeter was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lora Faye Connaly and brother, James Franklin Connaly. Skeeter loved driving trucks, motorcycles and being on the computer.

McMillen
Floyd McMillen, 82, of Dayton, died Friday, April 29, 2011 in Liberty.
He was born April 3, 1929 in Daisetta, Texas to parents Lincoln B. and Viola Brady McMillen. Floyd lived in Dayton for many years. He served in the US Navy attaining the rank of FTM2, (Fire Control Technician, Missile, Second Class) he was the recipient of the National Defense Service medal, China Service ribbon, Korean Service ribbon (7 stars) and the Good Conduct medal (3 stars) after retiring from the Navy he worked as a derrick man for 20 years. Mr. McMillen was a member of Dayton Assembly of God church. Floyd was married
to Janie Juanita Lane McMillen who preceded him in death.
Services for Mr. McMillen will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Dayton with interment to follow at Magnolia Park cemetery.

Casinger
Helen F. Casinger, 95, of Dayton, died on Wednesday, April, 27, 2011 at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston. She was a loving grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow in Magnolia cemetery. A gathering of Helen’s family and friends will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the funeral home with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM.
She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Bonnie V. Moss; husband, Lewis Casinger; grandsons, Darrell and Duane Cook; and great grandson, Charles Richard Garrett, II.
Helen is survived by her grandchildren, Rickey Garrett, Schuyler Davis and wife, Cammiah Mireles, Paul Casinger and wife, Pat, and Lisa and husband, Michael McBride; great grandchildren, Brian Conner, Brandi Garrett, Brianne Wolf, Katrina Davis, Gary Cook, Helen Cook, Stephanie Kerschner, Michael McBride, Jr., James, Robert, and Roy, Micah Mireles, Ricky, and Kayliegh; great-great grandchildren, Sofia Conner, Joshua Conner, Robert Murry, Riley Dykes, Corbyn Kirschner, Dominic Mireles, and several McBride great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Patricia Duncan and nephew, Roy Duncan.

Johnnie Faye Morgan Thomas, 59, of Silsbee died Tuesday April 26, 2011 at her residence in Silsbee.
Johnnie was born June 28, 1951in Monroe, Louisiana she had lived in Silsbee and was retired from Treemont Medical Clinic in Houston as an Medical Assistant.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Thomas, and Son: Steven Baker.
Survivors are her Parents: John and Vertie Short of Grayson, Louisiana, Son: Britt Baker and wife Cyndi of Saratoga, Daughter: Misty Baker of Houston, Sisters: Jennie Baker and husband Doug of Silsbee, Nancy Hight and husband Buddy of Spurger, and Zadie Whipple and husband Mike of Evansville, Indiana.
Five grandchildren and many friends, family and nephews. A services of remembrance will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday April 30, 2011 at Faith Christian Center in Silsbee with Reverend Chris Kirkendall officiating.
Interment will follow at Baker-Bell cemetery in Fred. The family will be receiving friends on Friday April 29, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. also at First Christian Center.
