Taylor

C. W. “Wayne” Taylor, 71, of Hardin, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at M.D. Anderson Hospital after a brave fight with cancer.

He was born January 16, 1936 in Greggton, Texas, to parents Cliff and Ida Lee Hogue Taylor. He was a graduate of Milby High School in 1955 and continued his education at the University of Houston and Houston Community College. Before retirement Mr. Taylor worked for WKM/Cameron in Houston, for over 42 years in Quality Assurance. He was a member of the Gulf Coast Donkey and Mule Association and a deacon and member of the Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading and watching westerns, gardening and loved taking care of his donkey.

Services for Mr. Taylor will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tim Gruver and Brother Josh Walters officiating. Interment will follow at Hardin Chapel cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Marcell Taylor of Hardin; daughters: Wendy Pete and husband Bob of San Diego, California, Kelly Taylor Robertson of London, England, and Tracy Kaye Taylor of Hardin; one grandchild: Micah B. Pete; brother: Tom Taylor and wife Jean of Flatonia; five nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Watson

Randal O’Neal Watson, 50, of Shepherd, Texas, died Sunday, August 12, 2007. He was born in Sayder, Texas, on January 1, 1957 to Floyd O’Neal and Bonnie Joyce Watson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecka Elizabeth Watson; his parents, and his son, John William Watson.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 17, 2007, 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Farley Chapel cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.

Davenport

Erin Elizabeth Davenport, age 47, of Splendora, Texas, died Monday, August 13, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 11, 1959.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul Stockstill. Survivors include her husband, Donald Davenport; parents, Beverly and E.E. O’Brien; daughters, Stacey Stockstill, Carrie Stockstill, Jennifer Stockstill; step-children, Trey Davenport, Emily Davenport, John Davenport, Chelsey Mize; brothers, Brent O’Brien and wife, Judy; nieces, Ashley O’Brien and Kelley Brown with numerous other cherished family members and caring friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Security Baptist Church, Security, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:

Green

Funeral Services for Frenzella Green, will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Dayton, with the Reverend E. Maxwell, with burial in Acie cemetery, Dayton, Texas, under the direction of Wells Funeral Service, Liberty, Texas.

A native of Dayton, graduate of Colbert High School, a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church she was a domestic worker.

She died, Monday, August 13, 2007 at her residence. Visitation will be held from 9am until time of service at the church.

She survived by two sons, Calvin Jefferson of Austin and Ellis Smith of Dayton; three daughters: Elaine Edwards of Liberty, Karen Trahan of Ames, and Earnestine Shankle of Beaumont; one sister: Joyce Brown of Dayton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Stewart

A Memorial Service will be held for Erika M. Stewart of Raywood, Texas, at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, August 18, 2007, at St. Miles Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Wells Funeral Service, Liberty.

A native of Lingelbach, Germany she died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband: Robert Stewart; two sons: John Martin Steward and Stefan David Stewart both of Raywood, one brother: Bernard Jung of Germany and one sister: Evelyn Schmitt also of Germany and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lindsey

Phillip Lynn Lindsey, age 60, of Cleveland, Texas, died Sunday, August 12, 2007. He was born in Los Angeles, California on June 30, 1947 to Clifton Harland and Marie Lindsey who has preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marigrace O’Neil-Lindsey; daughter, Amy Frankum; sons Richard Metts, and Eric Frankum; grandchildren, Miranda Metts, Tyler Cummings, Peyton Cummings, Victoria Metts, Jaxon Cummings, Haylee Frankum; nephews, Joseph Kocurek, Jacob Kocurek; nieces, Brandi Thoede, Amanda Tidwell, Jennalee Kocurek and so many other cherished family members and caring friends.

Bro. Carl Williamson will conduct the funeral service held Wednesday, August 15, 2007, 10:30 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas with interment at County Line cemetery, Willis, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., August 14, 2007 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

Hansbro

Henderson Howard Hansbro, age 75, of Tarkington Prairie, Texas, died, August 6, 2007. He was born on July 20, 1932 in Tarkington Prairie to Lee and Codie Berry Hansbro who preceded him in death along with his sister, Kathleen Ellisor; brothers, J.D. Hansbro, William Hansbro, and Hubert Hansbro.

He was a lifetime resident of Tarkington Prairie, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and highly respected throughout the community.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jo Evelyn Hansbro; daughters, Debbie Ford and husband, Mike, Cathy Thornton and husband, Tony; son, Hal Hansbro and wife, Jennifer; sister Elmyra Feazell; grandchildren, Dustin and Ethan Thornton, Joshua and Jessica Ford, Seth Hansbro; and so many other cherished family members and caring friends.

Dr. Byron Reeves conducted funeral services held Wednesday, August 8, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Ryan cemetery.

Wiggins

Regina D. “Gina” Mitchell-Wiggins, 57, of Dayton, died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2007, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Gina was born December 30, 1949 in Deming, NM, to parents; Sam and Winnie Mitchell, a former resident of Deer Park, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past seven years. She was a former recruiter in transportation for Tri-State Trucking and former employee for the Good Samaritan Health Services in Arizona, had attended nursing school in Arizona, and enjoyed gardening, camping, sewing, crocheting, and playing bingo and cards.

Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Twila Mitchell. She is survived by her husband of 13 years: Richard Wiggins of Dayton, daughters: Lisa Sarkar and husband Souren of FL, Tammy Hamilton of AZ, and Tiffany Hopkins of AZ, sons: Phillip Wiggins and wife Tiffany of TN and Steven Wiggins of FL, grandchildren: Ragen, Heather, Heidi, Robbie, Scotty, Kavin, and Austin, two sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Davis

Liton Brett Davis, age 42, died Friday, August 10, 2007 in a Baytown Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 At 10 AM, at the Sterling Funeral Home 602 North Main Street, Dayton, TX. With burial to follow in the Greenville cemetery in Kenefick, TX. A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2007, at Sterling Funeral Home, Dayton, TX.

Brett was born on August 3, 1965 in Dayton, TX, and attended Tarkington High School, He was a construction Supervisor for the Inserv Company of Deer Park, TX, He enjoyed a good game of Golf, a good fishing trip, and dancing. He was a loving son, husband, father and grand father.

Brett is preceded in death by his father: Jimmy Davis, a grandmother: Lucille “MeMa” Haynes and Grandparents: John and Margaret Croft.

Survivors are his wife: Theresa Joyce Reeves Davis, of Dayton, TX, mother and step father: Jody and Larry Penny of Huntsville, TX, Children: Jackie Davis of Mt. Belvieu, TX, Kimberly Robinson of Jasper, TX, Deandra Delacruz of Bryan, TX, Cassie Delacruz of Los Angles, CA., two grandchildren: Savannah Satchell of Mt. Belvieu, and Robert Robinson of Jasper, TX, three sisters: Jodie Manie of Highlands, TX, Karyn Price and husband Scott, of Mountain Side N. J., and Jessica Gryseels, of Houston, TX, two brothers: Forest Penny of Huntsville, TX, and Jimmy Pavliska of Austin, TX, a grandfather: Elton Haynes of Kenefick, TX, and other family members and a host of friends.

Whittington

Funeral Services for Blanche M. Whittington, 75, will be held Friday, August 10, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel, Liberty with burial in Richardson cemetery, Hankamer, Texas.

A native of Hankamer she was a homemaker. She died Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Bayside Community Hospital in Anahuac, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 9am until time of service at the funeral home. She survived by two sons, David Whittington of Double Bayou and Larry Donell Whittington of Hankamer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Donatto

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Edith Donatto, 88, of Ames, Texas, at 11:00 A M. Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Ames, Texas with Reverend Father Ikeokwu Nduh, M. S. P. with burial in Ames Catholic cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9 A. M. until time of service with rosary at 10:30 A.M.

A native of Grand Coteau, Louisiana she is survived by one son: Timothy Donatto, of Barrett Station, Texas three daughters: Patricia Berotte, of Ames, Pamela Walker (A. J. Walker, Sr) of Raywood and Louella White (Landon White) of Ames; one brother: James (Red) Plummer of Ames; two sisters: Julia Simon of Raywood and Louise Donatto of Ames, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other relative and friends.

Shelley

Ruby Jewell Cherry Shelley, 76, of Rye, died August 6, 2007 after a lengthy stay in the NTICU and NIMU at Herman Hospital Medical center from congestive heart failure. Services will be held Friday August 10, 2007 at 2:00pm in the Pace Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Holley Grove cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday from 12:00pm until service time.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents Andrew Eddy and Mora Mazie Cherry, sisters Oscie Nell and Flossie Cherry, brothers Freed Cherry, Raymond Cherry, and Huey Cherry, son Michael Wayne Thompson, and 3 son in laws David Kroll, Robert Aisenbrey, and James Taylor.

She is survived by her son Alan Shelley and wife Mary, daughters Cheri Kroll and partner Delbert Puyear, and Shonnie Aisenbrey – Taylor, sister Laura Louise “Deat” Cherry, grandchildren Jennifer Smith and husband Mark, Chance “Scooter” Aisenbrey and wife Amanda, Chance Shelley and wife Irissa, Corey Shelley, Chace Shelley, Tammie Taylor Kaumeyer and husband Ron, and Dawn Taylor Kelley and husband Berry. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Dustin, David and Devin Smith, Destiny, Tara and Chaun Aisenbrey, Conner and Sawyer Kaumeyer, Alexandra Trissel, and Shelby and Hunter Davitt.

A host of family and friends all of Mississippi also survive her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chance “Scooter” Aisenbrey, Staff Sgt Mark Smith USAF, Chance Shelley, Corey Shelley, Andrew Galusha, and Wayne Harrington.

Gajdosik

James Alan Gajdosik, 52, of Dayton, TX, died August 3, 2007 in Houston, TX.

James was born on July 16, 1955 in Dayton, TX to Frank and Velosta Gajdosik. James has lived in the Dayton area all of his life. James enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and spending time with his family. James was a very strong willed man who had a good sense of humor and no matter how bad he felt he always had a smile on his face.

James is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Gajdosik and one aunt, Josephine Vyoral. He is survived by his son, Dylan Gajdosik; daughter, Angel Gajdosik; grandson. Jacob Gajdosik; aunt, Petesie Vyoral; nieces, Amy Marescalco and Gracie Henderson; cousin, Laura Pavlock; mother of his children, Diane Jarratt and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 11, 2007 11am at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Services have been entrusted to Sterling Funeral Home 602 North Main Dayton, TX 936-258-2678.

Hansbro

Howard Henderson Hansbro, Sr., 74, of Tarkington, died Monday, August 6, 2007. He was born July 20, 1932 in Tarkington Prairie to parents, Lee and Codie Berry Hansbro. A lifelong resident of Tarkington Prairie, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

Services for Mr. Henderson will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland with Dr. Byron Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Ryan cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents: Lee and Codie Hansbro, sister: Kathleen Ellisor, and brothers: J.D. Hansbro, William Hansbro, and Hubert Hansbro. He is survived by his wife: Jo Evelyn Hansbro; daughters: Debbie Ford and husband Mike, Cathy Thornton and husband Tony; son: Hal Hansbro and wife Jennifer; sister: Elmyra Feazell; grandchildren: Dustin and Ethan Thornton, Joshua and Jessica Ford, and Seth Hansbro.

Capps

Craven Lindsey Capps, 53, of Splendora, Texas, died Saturday, August 4, 2007. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 25, 1954 to John B. and Helen C. Capps.

Survivors include his loving wife, Branda Capps; sons, John Capps and wife, Melinda, Curtis Capps and wife, Jenney, Michael Capps; brothers and sister, John Burton Capps and wife, Marilyn, Chyrene Mason, Kevin Capps and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Brianna, Isaiah, Brittany, Jeremicah, and two more grandbabies on the way. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and so many other loving and caring family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2007, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 8, 2007, 10:00 a.m. Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Klein Memorial Park cemetery, Magnolia, Texas.

Rutherford

Billie Louise Mizell Rutherford, age 70, resident of Deer Park, Texas, died Sunday, August 5, 2007. She was born in Everitt, Texas on August 28, 1936 to Bill and Jewel Marie Mizell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2007 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at the Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment at Magnolia cemetery, Evergreen, Texas.

She is leaving behind her daughter Vicki Tingle of Pasadena, Texas; sons, Garland F. Rutherford, Jr. and wife, Cathy of Pasadena, Texas, Randy K. Rutherford and wife, Wendy of Round Rock, Texas; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family members and caring friends.

The Family wants to thank the staff at San Jacinto Manor in Deer Park for the love and devotion they gave to our mother during her stay there. They made each and every day brighter for her, we are truly grateful.
