ABILENE - Services for Roy Wade Adams, 71, of Abilene, formerly of Longview, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Wylie Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Patterson officiating. Entombment will be in Elmwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. Mr. Adams, a Baptist, an Eagle Scout, a Little League coach and an Atlantic Richfield Co. retiree, died Thursday.

GILMER - Services for Corine Camp, 83, of Gilmer will be held at 2 p.m. today at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with the Rev. J.C. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Floyd cemetery. Mrs. Camp died Thursday in Longview. She was born Nov. 3, 1914, in Harrison County and was a homemaker and a member of Indian Rock Baptist Church.

Wesley 'Pete' Clubb

MOUNT PLEASANT - Services for Wesley "Pete" Clubb, 53, of Gilmer will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bates-Cooper-Robison Funeral Home with Brother Jamie Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Coopers Chapel cemetery. Mr. Clubb, a self-employed welder, died Thursday at a Tyler hospital. He was born May 12, 1944, in Titus County.

CARTHAGE - Graveside services for William Maurice Collom, 63, of Odessa will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Restland Memorial Park in Carthage. Burial will follow, directed by Jimerson Funeral Home. Mr. Collom died Wednesday. Born May 21, 1934, in Union County, Ark., he worked in the oil field industry and was a Baptist.

Charlene Dufour

Funeral services for Charlene Dufour, 68, of East Mountain will be held at 3 p.m. today, March 28, at the Trinity Ejpiscopal Church with the Rev. Al Rodriguez and Verger John C. Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Dufour was born on Dec. 7, 1929, in Rochester, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband, Harry, of East Mountain; her sons, David Gibbs of Benton, Ark., and Johnny Dufour of San Antonio; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan Marie and Randy Smsith of Longview; her sisters, Sheri Stewart of Lawton, Okla., and Kay Crouch and Fay Kolb, both of Pampa; her brothers, Buford Graham of Kingfisher, Okla., Clifford Graham of Wichita Falls, Eddy Graham of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jerry Abston of Pampa; five grandchildren, Brittany Burks, Charles and Robert Gibbs and Kevin and Margaret Dufour.

Burial will be in Langley cemetery in Beckville. Mrs. Metcalf, born June 27, 1912, in Panola County, died Thursday. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Kathy Lea Miller

GLADEWATER - Services for Kathy Lea Miller, 48, of Gladewater will be held at 2 p.m. today, March 28, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Larry W. Osborne and the Rev. Wayne Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Ms. Miller died Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at the Gladewater Nursing Home. She was born April 1, 1949, in Gladewater. As a child, she resided in East Mountain, Corpus Christi and Gladewater. She attended schools in Corpus Christi and Gladewater. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Ms. Miller is survived by her mother, Donna Lea Miller of Gladewater; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Miller of Gladewater; a sister and brother-in-law, Jerie and Max Wakeland of Gladewater; her nephews and nieces, Clay Wakeland and Sally Hunger of Gladewater, John Miller Jr. of Camp Pendleton, Calif., Shandra Coleman of Aberdeen, Miss., and Devon Miller of Gladewater; and her cousins, Tom Pool of Pearland and Robert Pool of Huntington. She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh A. "Pete" Miller. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Methodist Christian Life Center, 217 W. Quitman St., Gladewater, TX 75647.

Freddy Burt Noles Sr.

CARTHAGE - Services for Freddy Burt Noles Sr., 67, of Carthage will be held at 3 p.m. today at Jimerson Funeral Home Chapel with Murphy Phillips and Al Neal officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Carthage. Mr. Noles died Thursday in Winnsboro. He was retired from Perry's Variety Store and had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Beasley officiating, followed by graveside services at 4:30 p.m. at Strong Memorial cemetery in Slocum. Mrs. Vickery, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carthage, died Friday. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

James F. 'Bud' Wilkins

Services for James F. "Bud" Wilkins, 73, will be held at 1 p.m. today, March 28, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Slim Sullivan and the Rev. Harry LaGrone officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Wilkins passed away Thursday morning, March 26, 1998, in Kilgore. He was born on Jan. 24, 1925, in Smackover, Ark. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Kilgore. In 1986, he retired from Texas Eastman with 26 years of service. Mr. Wilkins is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Wilkins; his daughter, Barbara Walker; his sons, Nathan Wilkins and Brady Wilkins; two brothers, Preston Wilkins and Joe Wilkins; a sister, Winnie Bell Kegley; and eight grandchildren. The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Warren O. Barnes

GILMER - Services for Warren O. Barnes, 79, of Lone Star will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Dunaway officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill cemetery. Mr. Barnes died Monday. He was a 16-year resident of Upshur County, a Baptist and a retiree of Pacific Gas and Electric Co. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Margaret Read Florey

Mrs. Florey died on Sunday, March 29, 1998, at her home at Alpine House. A private family burial service will be held at 1:30 Wednesday at Greenwood cemetery in Longview under the direction of Welch Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 906 Padon, with the Rev. Al Rodriguez officiating and Verger John C. Murphy Jr. assisting. She was a lifelong resident of Longview, a member of a pioneer family who moved to Longview from Virginia in 1886. She graduated from Longview High School in 1921 and attended business college in Texarkana. In 1924, she married Charles Donald (Don) Florey, who preceded her in death in 1980. She was also predeceased by her son, Don Ross Florey, and her only sister, Ada Read Holman. In her early years she was very active in church, civic and child welfare work. In 1934, she received one of the first Parent-Teacher Association life memberships, presented to her for her outstanding work in raising the money to equip the first cafeteria in the Longview school system. In the 1920's, when the Texas and Pacific terminal was in Longview, she was chief clerk for the general foreman. Later, for many years, she was buyer, bridal consultant and head of the gift department at McCarley's Jewelry. In 1986, she was named Gregg County's "Outstanding Senior Citizen". She was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she taught Sunday school for 25 years and was sponsor of teen-age activities. She was a member of Daughters of the King and St. Martha's Guild. In 1990, she was honored by Trinity as the oldest member in years of membership and was presented a gold cross, a replica of the altar cross given in memory of her aunt, Estelle Wright Honea, who stated the Episcopal church in Longview. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Bill Dennis of Longview; daughter, Patricia Smith of Metairie, La., daughter, Estelle Florey Carter of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Janice Florey of Longview; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great -grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, J.V. and Frankie Florey and Mrs. Louise Florey, all of Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be V. Richard Wade, Dr. Michael W. Scott, Dr. Todd Read Holman, Allen Burke Green, Tommy Kirkindoll and Wehlan McPherson. The family will receive friends in Guild Hall at the church after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church Maintenance Fund, 906 Padon, Longview, TX, 75601, Hospice Longview Inc., 1306 Pine Tree Road, Longview, TX, 75604, or a charity of donor's choice.

William Milton Frazier Sr.

MARSHALL - Services for William Milton Frazier Sr., 77, of Marshall will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Travis Street Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home with B.F. Jone, the Rev. Dick Sawyer and the Rev. James Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Noonday cemetery in Hallsville. Mr. Frazier died Sunday at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview after an extended illness. He was born March 14, 1921, in the Noonday Community, Texas, to William Alton Frazier and Beulah Belle Dickard Frazier. He attended Hallsville schools, where he played football on the very first Hallsville Bobcat football team. His letter jacket is on display at the "H" room in the field house at Bobcat Stadium. Among his many talents was his love of singing gospel music, he had a lovely bass voice. He married Ruby Katheryn Richardson of Hallsville on Feb. 15, 1941. He was in the U.S. Army and serviced as a Marshall policeman. He went to work at Thiokol Chemical Corp. as a guard, made sergeant and retired after 34 years of service as chief of security. Milton was fondly known as "chief." He is survived his wife, Katheryn Richardson Frazier of Marshall; three sons, Michael Stanley Frazier of Marshall, William "Bill" Milton Frazer Jr. of Liberty City and John Alton Frazier of Marshall; one brother, James Frazier of Livingston; one sister, Bonnie Opal Teel of Longview; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers are Stanley Keith Frazier, Bill Frazier, John Alton Frazier, Robert Wayne Teel, Leslie Thurston, Jerry Bunt and Bill Maloney. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Martin Lynn Hawks

Graveside services for Martin Lynn Hawks, 2-day-old infant son of Darren and Marci Hawks, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rosewood Park cemetery with the Rev. Phil Fenton officiating. Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He was born March 26, 1998, in Shreveport, La. He is survived by his brother, Trenton Hawks of Longview; paternal grandparents, Jim and Sharon Leikam of Hays, Kan., Kenny and Bonnie Hawks of Moab, Utah; maternal grandmother, Pat Nagel of Holyrood, Kan.; paternal great-grandmother, Cloetta Clark of Hays, Kan.; maternal great-grandmother, Eleanor Lewis of Holyrood, Kan.; aunts, Stephanie Seahorn, Fawnia Miller and Debbie Leikam; and uncle, K.C. Hawks. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Terry Nagel. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Shreveport.
