Leuna Killough

Services for Leuna Killough, 86, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Ricks officiating. Burial will follow in Mayes Cemetery in Freestone County.
Mrs. Killough died Tuesday morning at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
She was born April 16, 1916 in Anderson County to George Lee and Lodie Mae Williams Hickman.
Mrs. Killough was a Baptist. She had worked as a sales clerk for JCPenney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Jack Killough.
Mrs. Killough is survived by sisters, Anice Camp and Estell Watson, both of Palestine; brothers, Terry Hickman of San Antonio and Lewis Hickman of Shreveport. La.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Earnest Stewart Camp

Services for Earnest Stewart Camp, 71, of College Station, were held Oct. 12 at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan with Bill Camp officiating. Interment was in the College Station Cemetery.
Mr. Camp died Oct. 9.
He was born May 25, 1931, in Fort Worth.
Mr. Camp graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station in 1949. He served in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from  Texas A&M University in 1962 with a degree in geophysics and geological engineering.
After working for Atlantic Richfield, he returned to Brazos County in 1970. He was an entrepreneur. He and his wife Martha owned Triangle Bowl and Wolf Pen Bowl and Skate in Bryan/College Station and Comet School Supplies of Palestine, managed by his brother-in-law, Ray Britton. They formerly owned University Bookstores in College Stationed.
Mr. Camp was active in the community and served on numerous boards. He was a member of several local organizations including the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce. He was a Shriner with Arabia Temple of Houston; a 32nd degree Mason with Sul Ross Lodge 1300 Scottish Rite of Free Masonry; a member of American Legion Post 0159; the Marine Corps Reserve Officers Association; the  Texas Printers Association; the  Texas Roller Skating Association; the Society of Exploration — Geophysicists and the  Texas A&M University Former Students Association. He served on the boards of directors for the  Texas Retailers Association and the  Texas Bowling Centers Association.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Martha Jane Britton Camp of College Station; and son, Robert Stewart Camp of College Station.
Memorials may be sent to the Shriners Burn Center in care of Arabia Temple Shrine, P.O. Box 20625, Houston,  Texas, 77225 or to a charity of choice.

Ernest Burton Ramsey

Services for Ernest Burton Ramsey, 79, of Fairfield, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield with the Rev. Don Suits officiating. Interment will be at Fairfield Cemetery.
Mr. Ramsey died Thursday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center of Bryan.
He was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Artesia Wells to John and May Belle Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5872 in Fairfield. He served in the Army during World War Ii and was a retired construction superintendent.
He was preceded in death by stepson, Oliver Clark; and seven siblings.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife, Ruby (Tankersley) Ramsey; son, Ernest Ramsey Jr. of Seabrook; stepsons, Bobby Joe O’Dell of Bandera and Ray Clark of Hilltop Lakes; stepdaughter, Eloise Lewis of Canyon Lake; sisters, Iris Stremmel of Katy and Mary Kurkendall of Beeville; brothers, Joseph Ramsey of Bay City and William N. Ramsey of Fredericksburg; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Luna Annie Parker

Services for Luna Annie Parker, 94, of Elkhart, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Elkhart with the Rev. Floyd Petersen officiating. Burial was in Pilgrim Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Parker died Wednesday at Spring Seasons in Elkhart.
She was born Oct. 3, 1908 in Houston to John W. Ellisor and Eunice Clark Ellisor.
Mrs. Parker was a member of the First Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jack C. Parker, in 2001; and seven siblings.
Mrs. Parker is survived by sisters, Allene Moran of Elkhart and Carty Keen Sutton of Grapeland.
Pallbearers were C.J. Moran Jr., Truman Starr, Mike Moran, Curtis Starr, Joel Parker and Scott Nicholson.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Elkhart or Pilgrim Cemetery Association.

Walter Pink Page Jr.

Services for Walter Pink Page Jr., 60, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Bass officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Star Cemetery in Oakwood under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Mr. Page died Wednesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Oakwood to Walter Sr. and Melvenia Birdow Page.
Mr. Page attended Green Bay School in Tucker, then graduated from Oakwood High School on June 1, 1961.
He was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Tennessee Colony during his childhood. In the 1960s he joined Pilgrim Hill Baptist Church. He was a deacon, member of the brotherhood union, and served on the program committee.
Mr. Page enlisted in the United States Army in 1964 and was stationed in Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla. for two years. He received an honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Page is survived by his wife, Clara M. Page of Palestine; father of Palestine; daughters, Phyllis Hamilton of Mesquite, Debbie Brown of Dallas and Stacy Page of Dallas; son, Michael W. Page of Shelby, N.C.; sisters, Lucille Simmons, Mary Billups, Juanita Brooks, Patricia D. Page, Rhonda K. Sallie and Wanda Swanson, all of Palestine, Mahalie Griffin of Houston and Ella Crosby of Dallas; brothers, James Page and Melvin Page, both of Tyler, and Ernest Page; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Walter Billups, Carl Brown, Delbert Brown, Lynwood Cook, Johnnie Richardson and David Simmons.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Billups, Essie Birdow, Christopher Hamilton, Efrem F. Hamilton, James Page and Melvin Page.

Terry Roche

Funeral arrangements for Terry Roche, 45, of Palestine, are pending at Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Roche died Thursday at his residence.

Sally Barnett

Funeral arrangements for Sally Barnett, 90, of Palestine, are pending at Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Barnett died Thursday night at Palestine Health Care in Palestine.

Steen Jett

Services (Mass) for Steen Jett, 80, of Palestine, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Zacharia Kunnakkattuthara officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Jett died Thursday night at Hospice Home Place in Tyler. He was born May 22, 1922 in Belle, Mo. to Jesse Paul Jett and Etha Ridenhour.
Mr. Jett was a 1941 graduate of Belle High School. He was a charter member of West End Baptist Church in Freeport. He was employed by Dow Chemical Co. of Freeport in the Epoxy Resin Plant for 25 years.
Mr. Jett was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly No. 1323.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years, Elaine Jett; and an infant daughter, Beverly Susan Jett.
Mr. Jett is survived by his wife, Paula Price Jett of Palestine; daughter, Susan Stone of Clayton; son, the Rev. Paul Ray Jett of Long Branch; stepsons, Damien Price, Justin Price and Harry Price, all of Houston; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Wilson, Al Schulle, Dennie Walker, Mike Wisnoski, Shawn Ivey and David Bunch.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Dressell, Alex Kobar and Bobby Totah.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held there following the rosary.

Robert David “Bob” Honeycutt

Funeral arrangements for Robert David “Bob” Honeycutt, 61, of Palestine, are pending at Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Honeycutt died early this morning at his residence.

Joyce R. Ivins Sr.

Funeral arrangements for Joyce R. Ivins Sr., 79, of Palestine, are pending at Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Ivins died Thursday evening at Cartmell Home for Aged.

Owen D. Finley

Funeral arrangements for Owen Dean Finley, 78, of Palestine are pending at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Mr. Finley died Friday at Cartmell Home for Aged.

Linda Hosch

Services for Linda Sue Minton Hosch, 59, of Neches, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Neches with the Rev. Charles Grasty officiating. Burial will follow at Neches City Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home in Palestine.
Mrs. Hosch died Wednesday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1943 in Bryan to J.D. Minton Sr. and Ruby Faye Elrod Minton.
Mrs. Hosch was a member of First Baptist Church of Neches. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Minton; and sister, Wanda Williams.
Mrs. Hosch is survived by her husband, James “Jake” Hosch of Neches; daughters, Sandy Linder of Palestine; Kathy Thornhill of Prairieville, La., Susan Sherman of Bullard; stepdaughter, Lorelli Francis; stepsons, David Hosch, Glen Hosch and Jim Hosch; brothers, Robert Minton and J.D. Minton; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in Neches.
Pallbearers will be Ray Parton, Frank Morton, John Lanier, Josiah Bihler, Brandon Linder and Wayne Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Hosch, Dennis Hosch and John Goodman.

Janice Walker

Services for Janice Walker, 41, of Grapeland, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Grapeland. Burial will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery with the Rev. Elijah Walker Jr. officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker died Tuesday at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
She was born Jan. 16, 1961 in Galveston to Lucindy Walker.
Mrs. Walker graduated from Grapeland High School in 1979.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents, Bailey and Alice Walker.
Mrs. Walker is survived by children, Raven Henderson, April Walker, Christina Walker, Curtis Runnels Jr. and Allison Walker, all of Grapeland; and brothers, Johnny Walker and Sylvester Walker of Galveston.

Ernest “Jake” Smith

Services for Ernest “Jake” Smith, 79, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will be in Rock Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Smith died Friday morning at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 18, 1923 in the Blackfoot community to Charlie and Clara Holeman Smith.
Mr. Smith was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a lineman for United Telephone.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Walter Floyd Smith.
He is survived by his sister, Lillian Pettiette of Palestine.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Debra L. Richards

Services for Debra L. Richards, 50, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Living God of Tennessee Colony.
Mrs. Richards died Nov. 29.
A wake will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. today at Golden Gate Funeral Home St. Mary’s Chapel in Dallas.

A.Q. Hopper

Services for A.Q. Hopper, 78, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Charles Grasty officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.
Mr. Hopper died Monday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 28, 1924 in Harold to William Wilder Hopper and Lena Bell Register Hopper.
Mr. Hopper was an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Hopper was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 31 AF&AM for 50 years, Scottish Rite Dallas, Sharon Temple in Tyler and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3907.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charles Hopper, in 1991; daughter, Rochell Toole; son, Steve Hopper; sister, Mattie Dansby; two brothers, Noah Hopper and Clifford Hopper; and a granddaughter.
Mr. Hopper is survived by a daughter, Cherry Massey of Groesbeck; son, Gary Q. Hopper of Slocum; sisters, Dorothy  Whitehead of Conroe and Daisy Bell of Carthage; brother, J.C. Hopper of Conroe; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Adam Massey, Anson Massey, Mike Hopper, Rick Hopper, Charlie Carroll and Robert  Whitehead.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jack Sealle.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
