Walter L. Marshall, Jr., age 56, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2004, in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ilse Marshall of Pleasanton and daughters, Heike Jenkins of Poteet, Sonja Marshall of Poteet and Sherri Colvin and husband Chris of Paso Robles, California. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Marshall: uncle, Sonny Marshall and family as well as two grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston Memorial Cemetery at 10:15am Thursday, February 12, 2004, Captain David Schlichter officiating.

Naomi Juanita (Curlee) Moore, age 75, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Monday, February 9, 2004, in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Terry C. Moore of Pleasanton and son, Richard A. Moore of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by her brother, Frankie Curlee of Freer. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Clements, Helen Weeks, Margie Capps, Melba Huhs and brothers, Cliford Curlee and James Curlee. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, February 13, 2004. The funeral service will be at Pleasanton Church of Christ Church at 2:00pm Saturday, February 14, 2004. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Black Hill, Texas.

Viola M. (Harris) Buzzard, age 63, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2004, in Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. She is survived by her husband Lonnie Buzzard of San Antonio; daughters, Cheryl McDonald and husband Jeff of Boerne, Barbara Wisdom of San Antonio and sons, Frank Wisdom and wife Linda, Wayne Wisdom and wife Debbie, Jerry Wisdom and wife Sandy all of San Antonio. She is also survived by her sister, Katherine Black and husband Tony of Leesville; brother-in-law, Bill Wisdom of San Antonio as well as nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton at 10:00am Saturday, February 14, 2004.

Virginai Rose (Moore) Riley, age 55, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004, in Pleasanton, Texas. She is survived by her sisters and brother, Joyce Schoo, Terry Nelson, Geraldine Nelson and Michael Moore all of Saint Lous, Missouri. Richard Garcia, age 79, of Campbellton, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2004, in Jourdanton, Texas. He is susvived by his wife, Elodia Garcia; sons, Ernest Garcia and wife Sara, Robert Garcia and wife Anette, Candy Garcia, Victor Garcia and wife Gabriela, Richard Garcia and wife Louise, Terry Garcia and wife Janie Sue and daughters, Adela Garcia, Lydia Brown and husband Bobby and Elizabeth Velazquez and husband Rick. he is also survived by his sisters, Lucy Caballero and Mary Louise Garcia as well as twenty-two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2:00pm to 9:00pm, including a rosary at 7:00pm Friday, march 26, 2004. The funeral service will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Campbellton at 10:00am Saturday, March 27, 2004. Interment will be at Campbellton City Cemetery in Campbellton, Texas.

Leroy O. Pfeil, age 82, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2004, San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Jewell Pfeil of Pleasanton; daughter, Karla Pfeil Garrett and husband Kennon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sons, Doug Pfeil and wife Michelle of Pleasanton and Dennis Pfeil of Colorado Springs, Colorado and daughter-in-law, Sandy Pfeil of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. An interment of his cremains is pending.

Edward Levi Rutledge, age 84, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away Monday, March 29, 2004, in Pleasanton, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Alma Rutledge of Pleasanton; daughter, Bobbie Ann Parker of Devine and son, Charles Edward Rutledge of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Manetta Merriman of Poteet, Oma Dell Burch of Medina, Opalee Kight of Poteet and William Rutledge of Portland Oregon as well as eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, April 1, 2004. The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00pm and 8:00pm Thursday evening. The funeral service will be at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton at 10:00am Friday, April 2, 2004. Interment will be at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.

He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Ashley Thomas of Houston, Christina Moreno of Ridgecrest, California, Christopher Chachere of New Mexico, Johnathon Thomas of Houston, Justin Bender of Houston and J. Longoria of Pleasanton, Rose Mary Fernandez of San Antonio, Texas, Maria "Mary" Byrd of Fallon, Neveda and sons, Julian Longoria, Jr. of Christine and Arthur Longoria of Jourdanton. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
