Raymond Gideon Coffee, age 89, of Charlotte, Texas, passed away Monday, July 2, 2007, in charlotte, Texas. he is survived by his daughters, Nell Forsythe and edd Forsythe of Charlotte and Theresa Temberg of La Parita. He is also survived by his sister Selma Dean of Lubbock; sister-in-law, Eva Coffee of San Antonio as well as numberous grandchildren, great-grandchild and great-great grandchildren. he is preceded in deth by his parents, William Wilburn Coffee and Selma Coffee; wife, Winnie Lorine Coffee; sons, Rob Ellison, Tom Ellison, Jim Ellison; grandsons, Johnny Ellison and Dale Ellison as well as numerous siblings. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 West Oaklawn Road, Pleasanton, from 2:00PM to 8:00Pm Wednesday, July 4, 2007. The funeral service will be held at Hurley Funeral Home (Pleasanton) at 2:00PM Thursday, July 5, 2007. Interment will be at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.
James David "J.D." Delaney, Jr
James David “J.D” Delaney, Jr., born May 18, 1925 in Bronte, TX, passed away in San Antonio, July 1, 2007 from heart failure.
He worked for Southwestern Bell (AT&T) for 43 years after serving 4 years in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After retirement J.D. loved tending to his ranch and cattle. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a life member of VFW Post 1533.
His parents Jimmy & Ruby Delaney and sisters Dortha Wiggins & Marie Sherrod preceded him in death.
J.D. is survived by his wife of 53 years Sophie Elaine Delaney of Atascosa; daughter Elaine Turnbow & husband Gary of Lytle; sons Jim Delaney & wife Donna of Lytle, Robert Delaney & wife Katy of Somerset; grandchildren Dena Turnbow of Floresville, JD Oliver & wife Angela of Lytle, EJ Delaney-Adams & husband Derrick of Lytle, Tracy Turnbow of La Vernia, Robert Delaney, Jr & wife Rose of Lytle, Janette Williams & husband Brandon of Bryan, Tara Wyrwich & Troy of St Hedwig, John Delaney of College Station; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a large loving extended family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vijay Koli and Dr. P. Vemalapalli along with the staff at Metropolitan Methodist and Southwest General Hospitals, for all their kindness and excellent care.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Hurley Funeral Home, Lytle. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2007, at 10:00AM, in the Chapel of Hurley Funeral Home, Lytle. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery #3 (formerly Roselawn) in San Antonio.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the charity of ones choice.

Erna L. (McClaugherty) Moor, age 79, of Pleasanton, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007, in Pleasanton, Texas. She was a member of Firt Baptist Church (Pleasanton). She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the local Eastern Star Chapter. She is survived by her sons, Ed Richey and wife Cheryl of Mesquite, Milton Ray Richey and wife Martha of Georgetown and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Richey of Kerrville. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Ione Brown of Woodbury, Georgia, Darlene Byerly of Pleasanton, Avanel Galloway of Pleasanton, Melva Demmer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lema Kraugher of Schertz, M. T. McClaugherty of Pleasanton, C.K. McClaugherty of Germantown, Maryland and Kenneth McClaugherty of Pleasanton as well as grandchildren, Steven Richey, Elizabeth Richey, Daniel Richey, Samuel Richey, Jonathan Richey, David Richey, Lora Lee Richey, Michael Richey, Cassie Sterling and eight great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Remy of Pleasanton; sons, Jerry Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Jr. of Pleasanton, Raul Gonzales of Pleasanton; daughter, Becky Gonzales of Corsicana; step sons, Lupe Bryan of Pleasanton, Alvino Bryan of Pleasanton and step daughter, Isabelle Bryan of Pleasanton. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Oliver Gonzales and wife Frances of Houston, Gloria Hagerdorn and husband David of Campbellton and Florinda Morris and husband Joe of San Antonio as well as eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. His father Frank Edward Cude preceded him in death on June 15, 1974.
