Gutierrez
Maxcimina N. Gutierrez, 76, died Monday, May 31, 2004.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 1 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pettus, with Deacon Cesar Ponce officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuleta Cemetery.
Miss Gutierrez was born on June 8, 1927, to Ruperto and Circuncicion (Nuñez) Gutierrez. She resided in Normanna and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart.
Survivors include her sisters, Aurelia Anguiano of Alice, Mary Wells and husband Larry of La Grange and Aurora Ponce and husband Cesar of Tulsita; a brother, Toribio Gutierrez and wife Isabel of Anton; and a niece, Esther Martinez of Tuleta.

Treviño
Herminia “Mine” Maldonado Treviño, 90, died Saturday, May 29, 2004.
Visitation was held Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service was held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the same location. Funeral services were conducted today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Eliazar Guerrero officiating. Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Ryan Treviño, Jeremy Treviño, Orlando Dominguez, Alfonso Ortiz II, Alfonso Ortiz III and Joe Maldonado. Honorary pallbearers were her grandson, Lee Treviño, and great-grandchildren, Xavian Brandon, Amron Treviño and Britain Hartzell.
Mrs. Treviño was born in Seguin on April 4, 1914, to Espiridion and Felix (Gonzales) Maldonado. She married Manuel S. Treviño on Oct. 26, 1941, in Corpus Christi. She resided in Beeville and was a homemaker and a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. She was the owner of M.S. Treviño Cafe and active in her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Manuel M. Treviño and wife Baudelia of Houston, Baltazar M. “Tony” Treviño and wife Barbara of Berclair and Artemio M. Treviño and wife Adelaida of Beeville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

De La Garza
Pomposita “Pauline” De La Garza, 93, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004.
Mrs. De La Garza was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. She worked as a pharmacy clerk at City Drugstore, and her advice on medications was sought after by many clients of the store. She was a lifetime member of St. Ann’s Society and served as secretary. She volunteered as a “pink lady” at Beeville’s Memorial Hospital and was the secretary of the Gardenia Club.
Rosary was to be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery No. 1.
Pallbearers will be Wally, Joe Anthony and Leonardo De La Garza, Michael Moreno, Aaron Williams and Billy Olivarez. Honorary pallbearer will be Fred Garza.
Survivors include a daughter, Annie Ruth (Martin) Williams; granddaughter, Margo (Lee) Glover; one grandson, Martin Ernest (Lisa) Williams; three grandchildren, Aaron and Stacie Williams and Ethan Glover, all of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hernandez
Anthony “Tony” Hernandez, 44, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004.
He was a graduate of A.C.  Jones High School and presently employed at Children’s Hospital in Austin as an emergency technician. He recieved an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Bee County College. He was awarded CPR instructor of the year in Austin. Mr. Hernandez was a director and supervisor of EMS, Rural Metro, Bee County, Karnes County and Live Oak County. He was also a reserve officer with the Beeville Police Department.
Survivors include his wife, Glena Moses Hernandez of Austin; three sons, Tony Hernandez of Austin, Juan Carlos Hernandez of Beeville and David Hernandez of Euless; his father, Herman Hernandez of Beeville; one brother, Paul (Robin) Hernandez of Pflugerville; and his paternal grandmother, Adela Hernandez of Beeville..
A rosary was to be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. today (Saturday) at the same location. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Krell, Ken Hedrick, Bill McConnico, Terry Gonzales, Jorge Alvarez, Tim Teboe, Gabriel Aleman, Orlando Hernandez and Victor Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Halo-Flight.

Mendoza
Rachel Aguirre “Rafaela” Mendoza, 75, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, in San Antonio.
Rosary will be recited today (Saturday) at 7:30 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Salinas, Santos Mendoza, Gerardo Lopez, Richard Aguirre, Vicente Arenas Jr. and Tommy Aguirre.
Mrs. Mendoza was born in Mineral on March 17, 1929, to Pedro and Tomasa (Caballero) Aguirre. She was a 1950 graduate of Pettus High School. She resided in Beeville and was employed as a paraprofessional teacher’s aide with the Beeville Independent School District for 26 years. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, David Mendoza of Beeville; two daughters, Margaret (Tony) Salinas of San Marcos and Mary Jane Mendoza of Beeville; two sons, David L. (Cindy) Mendoza Jr. of Kenedy and Kenneth (Linda) Mendoza of Normanna; a sister, Victoria (Vicente) Arenas of Kenedy; three brothers, Raul (Amada) Aguirre of Beeville, Jose (Esther) Aguirre of San Antonio and Andrew (Julie) Aguirre of Kansas City, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.

Duteil
Madison Paige Duteil, infant daughter of Mike and Michelle (Peña) Duteil, died Saturday, May 22, 2004. Madison was born April 22, 2004, in Beeville and resided in Mineral.
Survivors include her parents, Mike and Michelle Duteil of Mineral; a brother, Joshua Ryan Duteil of Mineral; maternal grandparents, Richard and Linda Quintanilla of Three Rivers; paternal grandparents, William Duteil of Pawnee; great-grandparents, Emma Flores of Three Rivers and Mr. and Mrs. Cruz Peña of Corpus Christi; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private family services were held.

Guerrero
Natividad R. Guerrero, 94, died Saturday, May 22, 2004.
Visitation was held Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. Rosary was recited Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the same location. Funeral Mass was celebrated today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial followed in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery No. 2.
Pallbearers were Jordan Perez, Michael Zavala, Marcus Dominguez, Johnny Ray Guerrero, Ray Guerrero Jr. and David Orozco.
Mr. Guerrero was born in Karnes County on May 24, 1909, to Bernardino and Petrita (Rodriguez) Guerrero. He was married to Lucia Rivas Guerrero. He resided in Beeville and had been a truck driver for the City of Beeville. In his early years he worked in the oil fields. He assisted with the Blue Jays baseball team. He also helped with the OLV bingos on Thursday nights. Mr. Guerrero was a member of Our Lady of Victory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife (in July 1970), a son, Richard R. Guerrero, a daughter, Margarita G. Orozco, two brothers, one sister and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include his four sons, Gilbert R. Guerrero and wife Lupita and Adolfo R. Guerrero of Beeville, Natividad R. Guerrero Jr. and wife Shirley of  South Carolina and Ray R. Guerrero of Houston; three daughters, Flora G. Rincon and husband Manuel of San Angelo, Petra G.  Johnson and husband Roy of Houston and Lucia G. Harms and husband John of Denver,  Colo.; his special grandchildren and caregivers, Vangie and Mario Perez; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Rodriguez
Ismael Q. “Mike” Rodriguez, 51, of George West died Sunday, May 23, 2004. He was born to Herminio and Maria (Quintanilla) Rodriguez on June 22, 1952, in George West.
Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Nicole Marie Rodriguez.
Survivors include three daughters, Alicia (Manuel) Gonzales of Choate, Sonya (Jessie) Garza of Beeville and Rubie Ann Rodriguez of George West; three sons, Ismael (Teresa) Rodriguez II and Jesus Adan Rodriguez, all of George West, and Herminio “Dinky” Rodriguez of Germany; a brother, Daniel Rodriguez of Beeville; and nine grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the George West Cemetery with Father Joseph Olikkara officiating.

O’Neal
Winnie Hines O’Neal, 92, died Thursday, May 20, 2004.
Visitation was to be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Galloway and Sons chapel. Funeral services will take place today (Saturday) at 11 a.m. at Mineral Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Stevens officiating. Special music will include “Sweet By and By” and “Amazing Grace.” Burial will follow in the Pawnee Cemetery.
Mrs. O’Neal was born in Burleson on July 13, 1911, to Frank and Oney (Holt) Hines. She married Clinton T. O’Neal in Bee County on March 8, 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of Mineral Baptist Church.
Survivors include three nephews and seven nieces.

Del Bosque
Manuel Del Bosque Sr., 69, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, in a Corpus Christi hospital.
Rosary was to be recited on Friday at 7 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated today (Saturday) at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville.
Pallbearers will be Manuel Del Bosque Jr., Gilbert Del Bosque, Jessie Del Bosque, Andrew Halsey, Randy Stewart and Lupe “Joe” Gonzales.
Mr. Del Bosque was born in Beeville on Jan. 25, 1935, to Dario Del Bosque and Antonia Soliz Gonzales. He married Francisca Saenz Del Bosque in Beeville on May 21, 1956. He was retired from Young Auto Company after serving 18 years. He also worked for the Beeville Independent School District for 10 years as a bus driver. Mr. Del Bosque was a Catholic and a member of the St. James Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Francisca Saenz Del Bosque of Beeville; two daughters, Gracie (Randy) Stewart and Rosario (Andrew) Halsey, both of Beeville; three sons, Manuel Del Bosque Jr. of Tacoma, Wash., Gilbert (Martha) Del Bosque of Beeville and Jessie Del Bosque, stationed in Fort Benning, Ga.; a sister; Erminia Del Bosque of Beeville; six half sisters, Maria Elisa Arrisola, Maria Carmen Espinoza, Petra Garza and Dolores (Loly) Garcia, all of Beeville, Anita Del Bosque Castaneda of Corpus Christi and Juanita Maldonado of Brenham; one half brother; Lupe “Joe” Gonzales of Beeville; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Trigo
Rene Trigo, 45, died Aug. 8, 2002, in Bee County.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated today (Saturday) at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego. Immediately following the Mass, the family invites friends to attend a family rosary, slide show and eulogy at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego.
Mr. Trigo graduated from high school in California and started Tops Pest Control in Beeville, which he owned for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Consuelo Trigo.
Survivors include his wife, Maricela L. Trigo of Beeville; four sons, Jeffery Trigo, Rene Roberto Trigo Jr. and Michael Ramos, all of Beeville, and Hector Tovar of Freer; a daughter, Lori Trigo of Beeville; five brothers, Roberto Trigo Jr., Roel Trigo and Roy Trigo, all of San Diego, Ruben Trigo of Corpus Christi and Ramon Trigo of Springfield; two sisters, Aurora Robie of Beeville and Ameblinda Trigo of Corpus Christi; his mother-in-law, Elva Lazo of San Diego; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc., San Diego.
