Mr. Suniga
David Garcia Suniga, 60, died on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, in a local hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born on Sept. 7, 1946, in Brighton,  Colo. He graduated from A.C.  Jones High School in 1966. He was a deliveryman for Schulz and Wroten Pharmacy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Trujillo, and his adopted parents, Augustine and Paula Suniga; one brother, Genaro Suniga; and one sister, Gregoria Bergara.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mary Helen Lopez Suniga of Beeville; one son, David Genaro (Graciela) Suniga of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Diana Marie (Joe) Garcia of Beeville; three grandchildren, David Genaro Suniga, Anna Rodriguez and Alicia Marie Garcia; two brothers, Luis (Linda) Ramirez of San Antonio and Paul (Diana) Trujillo of Victoria; and seven sisters, Maria Dolores (Rudy) Montez and Nestora (Ramiro) Tanguma, both of San Antonio, Irene (Edmundo) Hernandez and Estella (Ruben) Baltazar, both of Beeville, Ramona (David) Andaverde of Corpus Christi, Diana (Ramiro) Reyna and Christina (Jaime) Guerra, both of Sinton.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 5 to 8 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Patrick Donohoe officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Infant Hernandez
Halie Lynn Hernandez, infant, died on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007.
She was born on Dec. 14, 2006, in Beeville to Judith Charlene Sellers and Louis Cavazos Hernandez.
Survivors residing in Beeville include her parents; one brother, Daniel Torres; one sister, Beverly Torres; maternal grandparents, Garnett and J.R. Sellers; paternal grandmother, Dolores Gonzales; paternal step-grandfather, Ignacio Gonzales; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Victory #2 Cemetery with Rev. Salvador Rincon officiating.
Pallbearers were Arturo Gonzales, Joe Rios, Sabino Cruz Jr. and Jimmy Sellers.

Mrs. Rauch
Dorothy Lucille Rauch, 70, died on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, in a Corpus Christi hospital following a long illness.
She was born in Charlotte, and had been a resident of the St. Paul area since 1958. She had been employed as a bank clerk at Commercial State Bank until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Melba McKlendon.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Erwin Rauch Sr. of St. Paul; one son, Melvin Erwin (Mary) Rauch Jr. of Beeville; one daughter, Kimberlee (Stanley) Brubaker of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Terry (Susan) Rose of Thrall and Leon (Myrna) Rose of  Washington; two sisters, Joyce (Ledon) Henderson of Panama City, Fla., and Allene Wolters of Corpus Christi; one granddaughter, Amanda Rauch of Mesquite; two step-grandsons, Brandon and Dustin Brubaker of Sinton; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home in Sinton with Rev. David Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in the John J. Welder Memorial Cemetery in St. Paul.
Arrangements were by Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home in Sinton.

Mr. Rodriguez
Raymond Rodriguez, 84, died on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007.
He was born in Beeville. He had worked for the railroad and was a truck driver and brick layer. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Encarnacion and Margaret Oliveira; and two sons, Raymond Rodriguez Jr. and Rene Rodriguez, all of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Patricia Lopez of Reno, Nev., Estefana Garza and Guadalupe Silvas, both of Beeville; one brother, Eddie Rodriguez of George West; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Guardian Funeral Home in Corpus Christi. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Corpus Christi.
Arrangements were by Guardian Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Corpus Christi.

Mrs.  White
Lucille  White, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Jan. 25, 2007. She was 90 years old.
Lucille was a long time resident of Beeville where she retired from C.R. Anthony's after 30 years of service. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Daniels and Norma Schrier; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her husband, Roy B.  White; daughter, Glenna (Buddy) McLemore of Corpus Christi,  Texas; son, Roy "Butch" (Trish)  White Jr. of Corpus Christi,  Texas; grandchildren, Donna (Daniel) Searles, Kim (Chuck) Zinnate, Terry (Jay) Marsh, Norman "Bubba" (Brenda) Daniels, Dwayne Daniels, Carl Schrier, John Schrier and Aimee (Chad) Bishp; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi,  Texas.

Mr. DeLeon
Roman DeLeon, 38, of Beeville died on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007.
He was born Sept. 19, 1968, in Olton to Daniel and Petra Garcia DeLeon. He was employed by General Shelters of Beeville.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin DeLeon and Rafael DeLeon.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Gonzales DeLeon of Beeville; five children, Cireana Gonzales, Martin DeLeon, Brian DeLeon and Roman DeLeon Jr., all of Beeville, and Tony DeLeon of Muleshoe; his parents, Daniel and Petra Garcia DeLeon of Beeville; five brothers, David Posada and Clifford Rodriguez, both of Beeville, Frank DeLeon and Daniel DeLeon Jr., both of Earth, and Ricky Posada of Midland; four sisters, Nelda Garcia of Beeville, Diana DeLeon of Earth and Patsy Salinas and Nati Escolona, both of New Braunfels; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Jameson
Geraldine Newton Jameson, 82, of Victoria died on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007.
She was born on April 17, 1924, in Bigsby, Okla., to Frank and Rachel Cowen Newton. She married Stewart Jameson in Mexico and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Verval Lee (Bill) Estes; one brother; four sisters; and two granddaughters.
Survivors include five sons, Stewart Dean Jameson Jr., Phillip Wayne Jameson Sr. and wife Michelle, both of Kerrville, Robert Estes and wife Ruth of Brazoria, David (Tony) Estes and wife Theresa of Bastrop, and Jim (Steve) Estes and wife Jolene of Victoria; three daughters, Rachelle Stridde and husband Scott of Orange Grove, Jewell Collier and husband Johnny of Angleton and Carol Yaws and husband Joe of Edna; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Wade Fuhrken officiating. Special music will be “Shall We Gather At the River,” “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Stroll Across Heaven With You” and “When I Get Where I’m Going.” Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Jameson Jr., Sterling Jameson, Jimmy Nelson Jr., Robert Ray Starr, Tim Russell and Shane Estes. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kasper
Doris J’Net Kasper, 86, passed away Wed., Jan. 24, 2007.
She was born Jan. 11, 1921, in Concrete, Tx to Carl W. Weber, Sr. and Lillian Parks Weber. Doris married Raymond H. Kasper Sept. 7th, 1940 in Cuero, Tx. She was an active member of the 1st Baptist Church, Sunday School Secretary for 40 years, Volunteer at Whispering Oaks Nursing Home over 20 years, Secretary at the High-Davis Clinic for 19 years, Secretary and “Girl Friday” at Freund Funeral Home since 1981.
She is survived by one daughter, Janis Rangnow and husband Dorian of Rockport; one son, Donald Kasper and wife Peggy of Three Rivers; three granddaughters, Sheri Bruno and husband Chris of Three Rivers, Stacy Baros and husband Kendrick of Austin, and Kelly Blackwell and husband Johnny of Cuero; two grandsons, “Chip” Kasper of Three rivers, and Kyle Rangnow and wife Lauren of Cedar Park; and four great-grandsons, Jordan Kasper-Hines, Colton Blackwell, Chase Blackwell and Ty Rangnow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Carl W. Weber, Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. at 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Chip Kasper, Johnny Blackwell, Jordan Kasper-Hines, Kendrick Baros, Kyle Rangnow, Chris Bruno, Colton Blackwell, and Chase Blackwell.
Memorials: 1st Baptist Building Fund, Whispering Oaks Activity Fund or Hospice of South  Texas.

Mr. Garcia
Francisco “Panchito” Garcia, 94, of Pflugerville (formerly of Beeville) died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, in Austin. He was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Clareville to Anselmo and Concepcion Gomez Garcia and was married to Bernarda Garcia. He was retired from Hunt Auto Co. He was a member of the Catholic faith and was a Cursillista at St. James Church.
Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Anselmo and Concepcion Garcia; and his wife, Bernarda Garcia, on Oct. 6, 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Irma (Ramiro) Pedraza of Pflugerville; a son, Joe Henry Garcia of Austin; a brother, Anselmo “Chemita” Garcia of Beeville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Saturday at Treviño Funeral Home. The funeral service was celebrated at the funeral home chapel on Sunday with the Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating.
Burial followed in the Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan. Pallbearers were Richard Flores, Pastor Joe Perez, Rudy Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Robert Treviño and David Garcia.

Mrs. Garcia
Ofilia Alaniz Garcia, 73, of Tynan, died on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007.
She was born on April 13, 1933, in Goliad County to Juan and Emilia Aguilar Alaniz. She married Guadalupe O. Garcia in Skidmore on July 5, 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Tynan.
Survivors include her husband, Guadalupe O. Garcia of Tynan; two sons, Guadalupe (Molly) Garcia Jr. of Sinton and Juan A. (Susan) Garcia of Tynan; five daughters, Delia G. (Jose) Menchaca and Elia G. (Pedro) Barrientes, both of Tynan, Gregoria G. (Albert) Menchaca of Moore, Okla., Ofelia Garcia of Premont and Emilia (David) Garcia of Skidmore; one brother, Pioquinto Alaniz of Refugio; three sisters, Ageda Lopez of Corpus Christi, Siria Canales of Tynan and Virginia Vidaurri of Abilene; 25 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday at Angelus Funeral Home with a rosary recited there Monday at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Tynan with Father Sebastian Thomas officiating. Burial followed at Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan.
Pallbearers were Joe Jimenez, Henry Jimenez, Jose Angel Menchaca Jr., Arturo Menchaca, Joseph Barrientes and Gilbert Rosales III.
