Lonnie Lee Smith, age 66, of Hemphill, TX, died Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Lake Jackson.
He was born on September 30, 1941, in Coleman, TX. He moved to Lake Jackson, where he was employed by Dow Chemical in the Security, Fire and Medical Unit at the Oyster Creek Division.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Eddie Karl Smith and wife, Sara, of Bay City, Lonnie Keith and wife, Lara, of Lake Jackson; daughters, Twyla Byrd and husband, Don, Trena Bennett and fiancé, Phil Arredondo, all of Lake Jackson; brothers, Ben Smith and wife, Cynthia, of Louisiana; Michael Smith and wife, Cathy, of Sweeny; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman.
Burial will follow at Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home of Irving.

Funeral services for Debra C. Green, 53, of Angleton will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at Palms Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Sinclair officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 10, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
Debra, an employee of TDCJ for the past 19 years and member of the Eastern Star, was born August 21, 1954, in Atlanta, TX to W.B. and Virginia Sprayberry and passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007, in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her father, W.B. Sprayberry, and is survived by her husband, Larry “Spot” Green of Angleton; mother, Virginia Mayberry and husband Bobby of Jasper; sons, Monty Green of Angleton, Jody Green of Clear Lake and Shane Sprayberry of Angleton; brother, Larry Sprayberry and wife Cynthia of Richwood; sisters, Brenda Sprayberry of Clute and Penny Erway and husband Mike of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, Jessie and Casey Green; mother-in-law, Ernestine Green of Angleton; brother- and sister-in-laws, Jack and Jackie Green of Danbury, Sharon and Charlie Wyers of Shepherd, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Schmidt, Bobby Schmidt, Fred Kollman, Dale Kollman, Warren Heatwold and Jim Cooley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Prichard and Ronnie Venghaus.
Contributions may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Leukemia Dept.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
Geraldine S. Smith was born September 1, 1923, in Happy, TX to Sanford and Bertha Harding Sharpes and passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007, in Angleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan P. Smith and is survived by her daughter, Nancy Eddleman of Angleton; brother, Troy Sharpes of Lake Jackson; sisters, Leona Allen of Sweeny and Jean Shultz of Bakersville, Calif.; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
