He is also survived by his sister Jozlynn Adams, Grandparents Charles & Cookie Howell of Dodd City, Tic., Regina Vaughn of Dallas, TX., Rae Luker of Bonham, TX., Geary & Sonya Adams of Pattonville, TX.,
Great Grandparents Dale & Velma Howell of Lone Grove, OK,Lee & Faye Ethridge of Estelline, TX., Doris & Derwood Rhoades of Windom, Tx., Mary Adams of Blossom, TX., Matt & Donna Dunham of Ft. Worth, TX. Pallbearers will be Billy Daniels, Richard Dotson, Luke Adams, Charlie Lewis & Chantz Lewis.

Arrangements are being handled by Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, 2022 N. Center, Bonham,  Texas, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 17, 2004. Funeral service will be at Dodd City Cemetery at 10:00 AM Friday, June 18, 2004, Bro. Richard Leathers officiating. Interment will be at Dodd City Cemetery in Dodd City,  Texas

Jane L. Anderson

Lamasco - Jane Louvelle Anderson, age 62, of Lamasco Community, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison,  Texas. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Lamasco Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Craig Vance. Interment will follow in Lamasco Cemetery.

Jane was born January 27, 1943 in Ft. Worth,  Texas to Vernon & Opal Tefford Olson. She married Wendell Anderson Sr. on September 3,1960 in Juarez, Mexico. She was a housewife, a member of Lamasco Baptist Church, Telephone Volunteer Fire Department, Red Cross & CERT.

Survived by husband Wendell Anderson Sr. of the home; daughter Tami Curry & Barry Grigg of Bonham, TX; son Andy Anderson & Rose Plecker of Monkstown, TX; granddaughers Brandi & Cory Patton of Ivanhoe, TX.; grandson John Curry of Bonham, Tx; great granddaughters Baileigh Delane, Audrie Jane & Allie Jo Patton; 4 sisters, 1 brother & 6 brother & sister in-laws; In-Laws Robert & Lucille Graham of Lamasco, TX.; several nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be Craig Myrcle, Jason Dudley, Troy Stonaker, Joe Nichols, Jason Nichols & Dave Gehalo. Honorary Pallbearers will be James SePaugh, Ron McKinney, Billy Stephens, Brian Hutchings, Ron Myers & Elton Cain.

The family received friends 6-8pm Monday, September 5, 2005 at the Funeral Home.

Donations can be made to Red Cross or Telephone Vol. Fire Department.

Barbara Ann Adams

Barbara Ann Adams, age 58, of Ravenna, TX. passed away Thursday, October 20th, 2005 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX.. Chapel services will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Rev. Rickey Granstaff will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ravenna, TX.. Barbara was born September 17,1947 to George W. & Ella Ross Perry in Bonham, TX.. She married Ronald Adams on October 14, 1967 in Ravenna, TX..

Barbara worked as a teller for Bonham State Bank. Survivors are husband Ronald Adams of the home; son Cody Adams & wife Dana of Carrollton, TX.; daughter Tamra Caraway & husband Travis of Plano, TX.; daughter Karla Adams of Sherman, TX.; parents George W. & Ella Ross Perry of Ravenna, TX.; father & mother in-law Percy & Jaunita Adams of Ravenna, TX.; sister Joy Wise of Sherman, TX.; & 4 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 7-8pm Saturday October 22, 2005 at the Funeral Home.

Ruby Nell Allmond

Bonham,  Texas -- Funeral services for Ruby Nell Allmond, age 82, of Bonham will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Officiating will be Rev. Morgan Malone, interment will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery near Bonham. Miss Allmond passed away Monday, January 23, 2006 at her residence in Bonham.

She was born on May 2, 1923 in Bailey,  Texas, the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Lou Cole Allmond. Miss. Allmond was retired from Bonham State Bank after thirty-two years of service as a motor bank supervisor. She grew up on a cotton farm during the depression and WWII era. With no TV or very little radio in the home for entertainment, she grew up with music in the home and community. Her first stage performance was at age 4.

In high school she won several Interscholastic League Essay Contests. She became a professional "fiddle" player and worked trio fiddler with two of the nation's best fiddlers. She was awarded "National Champion Lady Fiddler" title. The Honorable Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mr. Sam Rayburn, took her band on some of his campaign tours around this district. Ruby was introduced to the Nashville music scene at RCA Records by  Texas songwriter, Cindy Walker. This resulted in some noteworthy recordings of her songs. Among her recorded songs was "Reno" recorded by Dottie West.

She is survived by her sister-in-law - Tinsy Allmond of Dallas. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister - Delia Allmond Burry, brothers - James Roy Allmond and Raymond Allmond.

Pallbearers will be Dolton Owens, Dylan Jones, Gene Harvey, Russell Armstrong, Juan Sewell and Roy Lee Caffey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Allmond, John Armstrong, Warren Jamieson, Dan Forbes and Orvil Jones.

The family will receive friends from 12:30PM Wednesday prior to service.

Conall Ovid Berube "Pops" age 61 died June 23, 2004 at University Hospital-Charity Campus in New Orleans, La.

Memorial services for Conall will be held on Saturday July 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, TX.

Conall is survived by his wife Linda M. Berube of Savoy, TX.- Son John C. Berube & wife Linda S. children Kari and Justin Berube of Savoy, TX., Son Rick Berube & wife Ali child Tyler James of Fontana, Ca., Mother June Berube of Lancaster, TX. Brother John .a Berube of Grand Prarie, TX. Sisters Jean Durkee of Baldwin Park CA., Janice Costine of Lancaster, Tx. Sally Berube of Clarksville, Tn. Mother-in-law Rose Beardeaux of Savoy, TX. And lots of nieces and nephews and other extended family members

Telephone, TX. - James Duncan Baugh, 69, passed away Monday, August 16, 2004, at his residence in Carson Community. Private services will be held at a later date. James was born, August 17, 1934 to August Bradley & Arvin Elizabeth (Susie) Davis Baugh, who preceded him in death.

Survivors are daughter Pam Dooley Baugh of Carson Comm.: daughter Gail Dooley of Happy, TX.: daughter Selenda Baugh of Nunlee Comm.; son James Baugh of Bonham, TX.; daughter Shelly Mosley of Bonham, TX.; 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister Barbara Ball of Bonham; sister Bessie Dizmond of Bonham, TX.; brother Pete Baugh of Telephone, TX.; brother Red Baugh of Telephone, TX.; brother Jim Baugh of Honey Grove, TX.; sister Linda Tschoepe of Wade, Ok.; brother Jake Baugh of Telephone, TX.; mother of his children Shirley McAdams of Bonham, TX.; and close friend Rose  Johnson of Denison, TX. In loving memory of our father, brother, husband, grandfather and dear friend.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, TX.

Bonham, TX. - Graveside services for L G Busby, age 66, of Bonham passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2004, will be held at Arledge Ridge Cemetery, Arledge Ridge Community, at 3 p.m., Saturday August 28, 2004. Rev. Leon Martin will officiate.

L G was born in Bonham on January 31,1938 to Oliver McKinley & Pearl Treadway Busby.

He married Mary B. Lackey on March 10, 1962 in Bonham, TX. He was employed by the General Cable in Bonham.

Survivors are wife Mary Busby of Bonham, TX.; daughter Barbara Helton & husband Roy of Dodd City, TX.; daughter Rebecca Orozco & husband Filiberto of Bonham, TX.; 15 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren; sister Nell James of Bonham, TX.; sister Mammie Nichols of Bonham, TX.; sister Oleta Daniels of Ravenna, TX.; brother James Busby of Merit, TX.; brother Dee Busby of Athens, TX.; Proceeded in death by sister Barbara Olene Osborne & daughter Terrie Lyn Lezey.

Pallbearers will be William Busby, Philip Wayne Simpson, Anthony Peek, Eddie Busby, Marshall Phea, Bill Dinwiddie, Millard Brent and John Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clint Castleberry, Choice Vanhooser and Steven Hale.

Family will receive friends from 7-8pm Friday August 27, 2004 at the Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, TX.

Gober, TX. - Joe Rowden Bolin, 88, of Gober, TX., passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville. Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd at 2pm under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Bro. Steve Hunter & Bro. Johnny Glover will officiate. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Gober, TX..

Mr. Bolin was born July 21, 1916 in Randolph, TX. to Sam Jasper Bolin & Cordia Rowden.

Survivors are wife Naomi Trapp Bolin of the home; son Bob Bolin; daughters Yvonne Brown, Delores Babers, & Sue Scharlach; 9 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Seth Scharlach, Dell Babers, Dr. Joseph Bolin, Shad Scharlach, Daniel Mulder, Tim Brown, Benton Preas.

Family will receive friends 7-8pm Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.

Pearl Lee Bales

Sherman - Graveside services for Mrs. Pearl Lee Bales, age 86, of Sherman formerly of Bonham will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham. Officiating will be Dr. Gene Owen. Mrs. Bales passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in Post Oak Care Center in Sherman, She was born on January 22, 1918, in Lamasco, TX., the daughter of the late James Wesley and Millie Mae Havens Langham. Mrs. Bales was married to Waymond Bales on October 13, 1941, he preceded her in death on February 23, 1982. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Bonham,

Surviving are Daughters - Carolyn Bond & husband James of Sherman and Bonnie Baker & husband Harold of Bonham. Grandchildren - Gary Bond of Bonham, Kellie Turner of Sherman, Kristy Graves of Childress, Marc Bond of  Whitewright and Karon Aldridge of Honey Grove. Great Grandchildren - Celsey & Trenton Bond, Cody, Cortni & Cassidi Turner, Dylan & Morgan Bond, Bailee & Ryan Graves and Adam Aldridge. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her Sister Ruby Hemley and Brother Arvele Langham. The family will receive friends from 7-8PM Wednesday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.

Ronald Lewis Bedwell

Bonham-Ronald Lewis Bedwell, age 73, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004 at Bonham Nursing Center in Bonham,  Texas. Services will be held at 3pm Saturday, October 23, 2004 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, TX. Bro. Troy Miles & Bro. Jack Ball will officiate. Visitation will be held 7-8:30pm Friday, October 22, 2004 at the funeral home.

Mr. Bedwell was born on July 11, 1931, in Visalia, California to Wallace Lewis & Ova Mason Bedwell. Married Ruby Loneta Lusk on March 5, 1979.

Survivors are wife Ruby Bedwell of Bonham, TX.; daughter Renee Bedwell of Fresno, Ca.; son Kenny Wayne Bedwell of Fresno, Ca; step daughter Sandra Marie Rogers of Anna, TX, step daughter Carolyn & Jody Beshirs of Platter, Ok; 5 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren; sister Carolyn Repanish of Fresno, Ca.

Kenneth W. Bethel
RAVENNA -- Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth W. Bethel, age 83, of Ravenna will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham.

Officiating will be Rev. Morgan Malone and assisted by Rev. Jeff Young. Interment will follow in Sandy Cemetery.

Mr. Bethel passed away Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. He was born on March 9, 1921 in Fannin County, the son of the late Erie and Cora Burrell Bethel. Mr. Bethel was married to Lois Herrington Bethel on October 22, 1937 in Fannin County. He retired from  Texas State Highway Department after 33 years and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Bethel of Ravenna; sons, Cecil Bethel and wife, Martha and Jimmy Bethel and wife, Katie, all of Bonham; daughter, Elaine Savage and husband, Johnny of Denison; grandchildren, Chad Clark and wife, Judy of Lamasco, Shelly Fellinger and husband, Mike of Denison, Jason Bethel and wife, Robin of Sherman, Kacie Maxwell and husband, Brad of Leonard, Natalie Long and husband, Justin of San Antonio and Blake Bethel of Bonham; great-grandchildren. Braden, McKenzie and Hannah Fellinger, Blaine and Tate Bethel, Carson Clark and Abbey and Allie Maxwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Bethel and brothers, Earl, Herman, Hop and Pete Bethel.

Pallbearers will be Maurice Walker, George Charles, Bobby Caldwell, Dale Riggs, Loyd Reeves, and Mike Bethel. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Rowland and Tony Groseclose.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning prior to the service.

Sherry A. Brooks

Gober - Funeral services for Sherry Allison Brooks, age 56, will be held at 3:OOPM Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Interment will follow in Gober Cemetery. Ms. Brooks passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Bonham Nursing Center. She was born on April 22, 1948 in Bonham, TX., the daughter of the late Newman Wylie and Betty Marie Blalock Fox.

Ms. Brooks was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield for over 25 years and a member of the First Christian Church in Gober.

She is survived by Son - Kevin L. Brooks and daughter-in-law Jennifer Brooks. Granddaughter - Emily Brooks and Grandson - Ryan Brooks. Brothers - Wylie Fox & wife Linda; Kerry Fox & wife Debbie and Nickey Fox & wife Jackie. Sister - Vickie West. 4 - Nieces and 7 - Nephews, 1 Nephew in law, 5 - Great Nieces and 3 Great Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tom Fox, Ken Fox, Danny Casey, Shawn Fox, Justin West, Blake West, Jesse Roberts and Jon Cooper. Honorary pallbearers Paula Roberts, Whitney Fox, Leina Fox, Jennifer Cagle and Dalton Cagle.

The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Tuesday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Ms. Brooks was a loving and devoted "Meme" to her grandchildren.

Mary Etta Blain

Bonham - Funeral services for Mary Etta Blain, age 80, of Bonham will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Interment will follow in Gober Cemetery, officiating will be Bro. Mickey Lyles. Mrs. Blain passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Wilson N.  Jones Hospital in Sherman. She was born on July 15, 1924 in Gober, TX., the daughter of the late David Lee & Frances Elizabeth Routt Burns.

She was a Homemaker and and a member of the Boyd Baptist Church.

Surviving are her 5 Sons - Floyd Blain and wife Brenda of Garland, Jimmy Blain and wife Lea Ann of Ravenna, Larry Blain and wife Jeannie of Sherman, Bobby Blain and wife Rhonda of Bonham, and James Blain of Bonham; sisters, Faye Kelley of Bonham, Kolline Whitley of Garland, Stella Stewart of Bonham, Jeanette Pickerill of Wills Point; brothers Jimmy Burns of Bonham and Wayne Burns of Bailey; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Billy Blain, and sisters Lucille Morris, Kay Hughes and Joyce Amlin, great grandson Blain Cockrill and husband Floyd E. (Joe) Blain.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Chris Blain, Steve Blain, Kevin Blain, Jeff Blain, Josh Blain, Nick Blain, and Josh Blasingame.

The family will receive friends from 7-8PM Friday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
