Donny Anthony "Tony" Johnson, 36, of New Waverly, passed away May 5, 2004 in Colmesneil.
Born January 22, 1968 in Hollywood, California to Dave and Kay Wool Wine Johnson, he lived in Colmesneil before moving to new Waverly. He was a computer technician and a member of the Grace International Church in Conroe.
Tony is survived by his loving family, parents, Dave and Kay Johnson of Village Mills; daughters, LCPL Angelica Wolff (USMC) of Okinawa, Japan and Melonie Jane Johnson of Montgomery; son, Zachariah Anthony Johnson of Montgomery; brothers, James Arthur Johnson and wife, Lori of Austin and Edmond David Johnson and wife, Ginger of Humble; sisters, Kathalene Marie Davis of Rapid City, SD, Deborah Dolores McManus and husband, Donald of Conroe and Glenna Dee Asquith and husband, Jay of Little Rock, ARK., eleven nieces, five nephews, nine great nieces and three great nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 11 at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home chapel with Bill Traylor officiating. Burial followed at Village Mills Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday evening at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers were Jim Johnson, David Johnson, Mac McManus, Billy Brown, Mike McManus and Tyler Johnson.
Services were entrusted to Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Mary Elizabeth McGill, 68, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away May 8, 2004 in Florida.
Born May 29, 1935 in Baxter, to H. A. and Merlie Ballard Gardner, she lived in Tyler County before moving to Florida. She was a bookkeeper for K & M.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, George K. McGill, Jr.; sons, Richard McGill and Harry McGill both of Texas and Bruce McGill of Tampa, FL.; daughters, Marcia Williams of Plant City, FL. and Patricia E. Ferretti of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, Terri L. Kirkland, Beau Morris, Shana Brumlow, Erick McGill, Fallon Pelkington, Danielle Pelkington, Morgan Ferretti and Devin Ferretti; great grandchildren, Kristen, Courtney, Nikki, Kaitlynn, Hannah and Nicholas.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12 at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeff Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Services were entrusted to Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
Thomas Brite Teter, Sr.

Thomas Brite Teter, Sr., 62, of Woodville, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2004 at the Woodville Convalescent Center.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Woodville with burial in Town Bluff Cemetery near Woodville. Officiating was Gordon McCabe.
Thomas was born Oct. 23, 1941 to Edward Thomas and Mildred Louise Brite Teter in Lambert, Mississippi. He had been an airline pilot with Overseas National Airways and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints in Woodville.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol Teter of Woodville; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Brite, Jr. and Doris Teter of Cypress; grandson, Zachary Thomas Teter of Cypress.
Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
Harold William Johnson

Harold William Johnson, 93, of Wildwood passed away April 19, 2004 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care.
Born Jan. 28, 1911 in Vernon Parish, Louisiana to John Joseph and Martha Howard Johnson, he lived in Port Arthur for over forty years before moving to Wildwood. He was a retired communications supervisor for Texaco. He was a member of the Wildwood Baptist Church.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his sons, Harold Wallace Johnson of Wildwood and Charles W. Johnson of Dothan, AL.; sisters, Pearl Fisher and Mamie Tyner both of Kerrville; grandsons, Michael Johnson of Port Neches and Christopher Johnson of Dothan, AL; granddaughters, Diane Robbins of Woodville and Lea Ann Rogers of Jacksonville, FL; great grandsons, Keegan Johnson of Port Neches, Kyle Johnson and Ryan Mills both of Dothan, AL, Colten Robbins and Matt O'Neil both of Woodville.
Funeral services was held Thursday, April 22, at 3 p.m. at the Wildwood Baptist Church with burial at Village Mills Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of the service at the church.
Serving as pallbearers were Mike Johnson, Chris Johnson, Keegan Johnson, C. M. Johnson and Jerry Robbins.

Inez Jones Cameron

Inez Jones Cameron, 95, of Rusk, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2004 at a Rusk nursing home.
She was born June 6, 1908 in Rusk. She was formerly of Woodville. Inez was retired from the Tyler County Hospital in Woodville in 1978 after 25 years as a L. V. N. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter in Warren, where she served as Past Worthy Matron.
Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death by her husband William Walter Cameron in 1959; brother, Horace Jones and a sister, Vivian Jenkins Green. Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, John and Martha Cameron of Austin, Doyle and Marie Cameron of Lewisville; daughter and son-in-law, Doris and James E. Moye of Kingwood; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 29 at 1 p.m. in Wallace-Thompson F. H. Chapel with Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Burial will be at Woodville Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

James Forest House

James Forest House, 86, of Woodville passed away April 15, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Born Aug. 20, 1917 in Rocky Mount, LA. to Alex F. and Annie Mary Herndon House, he lived in Woodville for many years. He was a retired auto mechanic and a World War II Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl House.
Mr. House is survived by his loving family, his wife, Willie House; daughters, Norma Tuxon of Orofino, Ohio, Olivia Ericson of Woodville, and Mona Snatic of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, George W. House of Boyd, and Douglas R. House of Pelbi, LA; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 21, at 11 a.m. at Riley Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the M. D. Anderson Center in Houston.

Dorothy Wigley Best, 77, of Woodville passed away April 12, 2004 at the Timberlake Health and Rehab Center in Jasper.
Born Aug. 27, 1926 in Woodville to Steve and Polly Rawls Wigley, she lived in Woodville all of her life. She was retired from the Magnolia Laundry Mat in Woodville with 21 years of service. She never met a stranger and was love by all. She was a member of The Missionary Baptist Church in Woodville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Polly Wigley and her husband, Vinson Best.
Mrs. Best was survived by her loving family, son, Jerry Best and wife, Susan of Jasper; granddaughters, Krystal Hubbard and husband, Roger of Glens Falls, NY and Amanda Best of Round Rock; great grandchildren, Joseph, Alexis, Amber and Nicholas of Glens Falls, NY; brothers, Vernon Wigley and wife, Dot of Fred and Monroe Wigley of Woodville; sister, Bobbie Cowart of Beaumont; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service was held Thursday, April 15, at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with Brother Robert Armstrong officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers were Bob Rawls, Richard Best, Billy Irvine, Bertis W. Best, Dale Best and Wayne Rawls.

Dale Alan Jordan, 52, of Hemphill passed away April 18, 2004 in Hemphill.
Born July 13, 1951 in Springfield, ILL to M. B. and Jewel White Jordan, he lived in Beaumont before moving to Hemphill. He was a retired Beaumont police officer.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his mother, Jewel Bingham of Spurger; daughter, Angela Jordan of Ft. Worth; sons, David Jordan and Nathan Jordan both of Hemphill; brother, Robert Jordan of Hemphill; sister, Darlene Schilling of Spurger and a granddaughter, Erica Sheffield of Lumberton.
Funeral services was held Thursday, April 22, at 1 p.m. at the Beech Creek Baptist Church with Brother Robert McClelland officiating. Burial followed at Beech Creek Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Serving as pallbearers were Michael Manning, Dennis Botler, Darrell Colter, Richard Dickman, Jay Billet and Daniel Billet.

Ottis Earl Massey, Sr.

Ottis Earl Massey, Sr., 62, of Livingston was born November 23, 1941 in Woodville, and died peacefully on April 25, 2004 in M. D. Anderson Hospital after a 10 month battle with brain and lung cancer. He traveled the world over operating heavy equipment laying pipeline. In 1976 he was a member of the original crane operators that took the pipelay barge Viking Piper into the North Sea. He was a member of the Kelly Masonic Lodge in San Antonio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Josie Broom Massey and brothers Maylon Massey and Winford "Bill" Massey.
He is survived by his loving wife Josephine Brod Massey; his daughters Hazel "Faye" and Shannon Howell of New Caney, Sadonia Massey of Livingston, and step-daughter Cathy Brod of Houston; his sons Ottis E. Massey, Jr. and Sherry of Conroe, William G. Massey of Willis, and step-son Thomas Brod of Houston; his brothers, William "Doyle" and Mildred Massey of Paige, Marvin Massey of Atasoca, Leroy and Mary Massey of Livingston; one sister, Hazel and Charles Rumby of Livingston; 11 grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Marvel officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. David Rice, Dr. Dawn Jaroszewski, Dr. Reddy, and all the nurses and staff in P7 Pod B and G12NW who took such loving care of him at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Johnnie Lee Harrison, 91, of Woodville passed away April 22, 2004 at the Dogwood Trails Manor Nursing in Woodville.
Born in Emilee, to Lee and Jimmie Woods Hanks, she lived in Tyler County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Woodville.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her nephew, A. L. "Buck" Nash and wife, Dottie of Cedar Park; great nieces, Barbara Goins and husband, Ricky of Buna and Beverly Barraque of Beaumont; great nephew, Jeffery Nash of Austin; great, great nieces, Kellie Nash and Kaci Nash; great, great nephews, Jason Welborn and wife, Lorie and Frank Arceneaux and wife, Tonya and a great, great, great niece, Ashlyn Welborn.
A graveside service was held Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at he Ebenezer Cemetery near Colmesneil with Dr. Dwayne Freese officiating. Visitation was held Friday evening at the funeral home.
