Aragon
March 8, 2004
A funeral liturgy was celebrated Friday, February 11, 2004 for Lawrence L. 'Larry" Aragon, 69, at St. Jean's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. James B. Wyse officiating. Interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in Muskegon, Michigan.
He was born June 15, 1934 in New Willard,  Texas to Rafael L. and Maria Lozano Aragon and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. He worked as an assembler for Brunswick Corporation for 43 years and retired in 1996. He was a member of St. Jean's Catholic Church, where he served as a sacristan, greeter and on the finance council. He was also a member of the Muskegon Landlord Association.
On December 31, 1954 he married Mary P. Gomez in Muskegon and she survives him along with one brother, Ben L. Aragon of Livingston;
Mr. Aragon died on Monday, February 10, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers were Joe Aragon Jr., Frank L. Aragon, Charles Ray Aragon, Daniel Gomez, Greg Patricio and Mike Gallo.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Livingston or East Temple Baptist Church of Livingston.

Renneberg
March 8, 2004
A memorial service for Helen Louise Renneberg, 82, of Livingston, will be held at a later date in  Oklahoma. She died Saturday, February 21, 2004 in Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin.
She was born August 25, 1921 in  Oklahoma City,  Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Renneberg; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Hoag of Guthrie,  Oklahoma; grandchildren, Georgianne Schmid of Industria, Janice Yancey of Broken Arrow,  Oklahoma, Jennifer Daves of Jenks,  Oklahoma, Lisa Sutliff of Sands Springs,  Oklahoma and Richard Hoag of Kingfisher,  Oklahoma; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Underwood
March 8, 2004
Graveside services for Beatrice "Maw Mack" Underwood, 83, of Hardin, were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2004, at Holly Grove Cemetery with Bro. John Henry Key Jr. and Rev. Gideon Watson officiating.
Mrs. Underwood was a native of Livingston and had lived all her married life in Hardin. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and her grandchildren. Beatrice will always be remembered for the wonderful fresh vegetables she and her late husband, Mack, sold from their front porch in Hardin. Only poor health brought "Maw Mack" out of her garden she had loved and worked in for over 50 years.
Mrs. Underwood died Thursday, February 26, 2004, at her daughter's residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell "Mack" Underwood; parents, Mack and Mary V. Richardson Wilkinson; granddaughters, Kathy Beasley and Kerry Holliday; and great-granddaughter, Brook Sanders.
Survivors include her daughters, Doris Jean Wright and husband, Tommy, of Goodrich and Avis Beasley and husband, Collis; son, Benford Underwood and wife, Cynthia, both of Hardin; sisters, Wilma Mikeska and Bernice Collins and husband, D.C., both of Houston; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Arrangements were under the direction of Allison Funeral Service of Liberty.

Williamson
March 8, 2004
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2004, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel for Jesse Thomas Williamson, 41, of Livingston, with the Rev. Elton Hodge officiating. Burial followed in Peebles Cemetery.
He was born July 5, 1962 in Houston, the son of Marvin C. and Lois Russell Williamson.
Mr. Williamson died Friday, February 20, in Lufkin. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters.
Survivors include his brothers, Billy Williamson of Fred, Robert Davis of California, Lester Rackard and Gerald Williamson, both of Houston and Don Williamson of Lufkin; sisters, Myrle Majeski, Mildred Williamson and Kim  Schmidt, all of Houston, Brenda Butler of Alvin and Trena Smith of Livingston; and many other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Shannon Macks, Shane Macks, Mickey Butler, Tommy Mettlen, Daniel Hodge and Frank Fry.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Burgett
March 8, 2004
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2004 for Eassel Ray Burgett, 61, of Onalaska, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska. Burial followed in Bold Springs Cemetery, Livingston.
He passed away on Friday, February 27, in Houston.
Cochran Funeral Home, Onalaska, was in charge of arrangements.

Calhoun
March 8, 2004
Graveside services for Murl Calhoun, 65, of Alvin, were held Saturday, February 28, 2004, at Peebles Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Byrd officiating, under the direction of Pace Funeral Home, Livingston.
She was born on May 18, 1938 in Onalaska, the daughter of Hugh and Willer Mae Robbins Gross. She married William F. Calhoun on March 1, 1957 in Houston. She was employed for 28 years in the insurance business and had been an Alvin resident for 28 years.
She died Wednesday, February 25, 2004, in Webster. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, William of Alvin; sons, David Calhoun of Conroe and Duane Calhoun of Spring; a daughter, Debra Brown and husband, Billy, of Hockley; a brother, Burl Gross of Onalaska; sisters, Mary Melcher of Arlington and Lois Williams of Livingston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pace Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Collins
March 8, 2004
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2004 for Edward Daniel Collins, 68, of Hardin, at Allison Funeral Service with the Rev. Gideon Watson officiating. Interment followed at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin.
He was born in Rye,  Texas on November 17, 1935, the son of Samuel Edward Collins and Tressa Imone Goodwin. He was a life-long resident of the Hardin area. Mr. Collins enjoyed fishing, cooking and watching western movies.
Mr. Collins died February 25, 2004 at the Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herbert Tanner, Welton Tanner, J.C. Collins, and Floyd Collins; nephew, Leonard Tanner; and one great granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Belle Templeton; five daughters, Joy Dayle Evans and husband, Bobby, Karen Millsaps and husband, Jack, Edith D. Collins, Ashley Collins and Bonnie Collins; five sons, Edward Glen Collins and wife, Donna, Heath Collins, Michael Collins, Tracy Templeton and Michael Templeton and wife, LaVonne; five sisters, Alma Baca, Joyce Millard and husband, Sonny, Juanita Hinson and husband, Roy, Irene Tompkins and husband, Leon, and Doris Wells and husband, Jimmie; four brothers, Curtis Tanner and wife, Ruby, Louis Tanner and wife, Freda, Clarence Collins and Jerry Tanner and wife, Elizabeth; twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Allison Funeral Service. of Liberty was in charge of arrangements.

DeBerry
March 8, 2004
Funeral services for Jessie Lucille 'Granny' DeBerry, 80, of Raywood, were held Saturday, February 21, 2004, at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, with the Rev. Shannon Bowdoin, the Rev. Darrell Brown and the Rev. Mike Smart officiating. Interment followed at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
He was born June 8, 1923 in McAlderson,  Oklahoma, the son of Charles Vanderpool and Maggie Smith. A former resident of Danbury,  Texas, she had lived in Raywood since 1977 and was a homemaker. She loved all of the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, flowers, camping and caring for her children. DeBerry was an excellent quilter. She also loved cooking and baking and was well known for her canning. Her family said that she had a deep love for the Lord and was a member of the Family of God for many years.
Mrs. DeBerry died Thursday, February 19, 2004 at her resident. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Lloyd Cecil DeBerry; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Lloyd Charles DeBerry and wife, Gerlinde, of Danbury, Martin DeBerry and wife, Pam, of Liberty and Jack DeBerry and wife, Brenda, of Raywood; one daughter, Ellen DeBerry Kidodeaux and husband, Gary, of Hardin; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Evers
March 8, 2004
Graveside services for Maxine Evers, 86, of Livingston, were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2004, at Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
Evers died on Friday, February 27, 2004 in Livingston.
Cochran Funeral Home, Onalaska, was in charge of arrangements.

Taylor
March 8, 2004
Funeral services were held Friday, February 13, 2004 for James O'Rillian  Taylor Sr., 58, of Daisetta, at Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Liberty with the Revs. Bobby J. Morgan and J.O. Hendricks officiating. Interment followed in Guedry Cemetery, Batson.
He was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. He died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 in Beaumont.
Survivors include his wife, Louise  Taylor of Daisetta; sons, Jim  Taylor of Daisetta, Clayton  Taylor and wife, Angie, of Batson; daughter-in-law, Angie Duff of Liberty; sisters, Ethel Cooke, Nana Lea Young, Emma  Taylor and husband, Nolan; grandchildren, Amber, Jared, Ashley, Chris, Aaron and Sarah.
Pallbearers were William Gresham, James Gresham, Larry Taylor, Richard Taylor, Donald  Taylor and Howard Young. Honorary pallbearer was Bill Gresham.

Coggins
April 12, 2004
Funeral services were held at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel for Michael Wayne Coggins, 43, with Bro. Fred Alford officiating. Cremation was in Restland Crematory Service in Livingston.
He was born July 27, 1960 in Fort Worth, the son of Charles Wayne Coggins and Florence Fore Coggins. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Coggins died Wednesday, March 24, in Livingston.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; his parents; daughters, Courtney Gaston of Livingston, Danielle Littlefield of Tacoma,  Washington and Samantha Coggins of Fort Worth; sons, Christopher Gaston of Waco and Christopher Michael Coggins of Fort Worth; sister, Michele Lindsey and husband, Mark, of Euless; nieces, Jerica Lindsey and Ashley Lindsey of Euless; grandmother, Roberta Goode of Burleson; and grandparents, Max and Odessa Peppenhorst of Livingston.
Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston, was in charge of arrangements.

Fogleman
April 12, 2004
Funeral services for Judith Anne Fogleman, 48, were held Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Livingston, with the Revs. Gerald Morris, Wayne McClain and Carl Patrick officiating. Burial followed in Garden of Memories in Lufkin.
She was born May 15, 1955 in Dallas, the daughter of D.C. and Vivian McAdams Fogleman, and died Monday, March 29, in St. Luke's Hospital in Houston.
Survivors include her father, D.C. Fogleman; mother, Vivian Fogleman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Twyla Fogleman of Humble and Benny and Delana Fogleman of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Wendy Wells of Daisetta; grandchildren, Kortlyn Wells, Alyson Wells and Madyson Wells; nephews, Joshua Fogleman and Jeffrey Fogleman; nieces, Jeni Fogleman and Jana Paxton.
Pallbearers were Donald McAdams, Johnny McAdams, Randy McAdams, Pat
McAdams, Bobby McAdams, Jeffrey Fogleman and Joshua Fogleman.
