Boyde Ray Nash Jr.
Nov. 27, 1966 — May 27, 2000

Graveside services for Boyde Nash Jr., 33, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mr. Nash died Saturday at College Station Medical Center.

He was born in Omaha, Neb., and lived in College Station for 30 years. He attended A&M Consolidated High School.
Survivors include his mother, Josephine Nash of Bryan; father and stepmother, Boyde R. and Laraine Nash of College Station; one brother, Lee Nash of College Station; one stepbrother and step-sister-in-law, John and Barbara Gossett of College Station; one sister, Leslie Nash of College Station; and two nephews.

Memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Robert G. “Bobby” Rincon
Jan. 26, 1956 — May 25, 2000

Services for Robert G. “Bobby” Rincon, 44, of Bryan are set for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jane de Chantal Church in Chicago, Ill.

The Rev. Thomas Srenn will officiate. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Unicranian Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Parkside Chapel in Chicago. A rosary service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Parkside Chapel.

Mr. Rincon died Thursday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

He was born in Chicago and lived in Bryan for eight years. He was a utility worker for the city of Bryan.

Survivors include his wife, Delores Rincon of Bryan; three daughters, Debra Marie Rincon of Lockport, Ill., Jessica Rincon of Las Vegas, Nev., and Renee Rincon of Las Vegas; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry E. and Eileen Rincon of Chicago; and his mother, Geraldine Rincon of Chicago.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Lillie Mae Love
Dec. 15, 1918 — May 27, 2000

Lillie Mae Love, age 81, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2000.

Born on December 15, 1918 in Bryan, Texas, Lillie was the daughter of George J. and Mary (Blazek) Nedbalek. She was a lifetime resident of Bryan and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bryan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tot M. Love, and four brothers.

She is survived by her two sisters-in-law, Eva and Louise Nedbalek, both of Bryan; three nephews, Frank and Nancy Nedbalek of Tyler, George and Jackie Nedbalek of Bryan and Jimmy and Betty Nedbalek of Bryan; one niece, Mary Jane and Cecil Steward of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 205 East 29th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.

Lorena E. Greer
Sept. 23, 1905 — May 26, 2000

Services for Lorena E. Greer, 94, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

The Rev. Howard Crenshaw will officiate. Burial will be in Peach Creek Cemetery in the Peach Creek Community.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Greer died Friday at Sherwood Health Care Facility in Bryan.

She was born in Grimes County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church of College Station.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Monroe Greer.

Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Glen and Bea Greer of Brookland, Texas, Dean Greer of Bryan, Sidney and Nelda Greer of Bryan and Kenneth and Annette Greer of Bryan; four daughters, Audrey Lee Reinier of North Little Rock, Ark., Lillian Russell of Bryan, Mildred Sunshine Wade of Bryan and Bertha M. Hall of Bryan; a brother, Sidney Appling of Millican, Texas; a sister, Alma Hyatt of Conroe; 44 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Peach Creek Cemetery Association at 1512 Kernstown Lane, College Station, Texas, 77845.

Jean Canard
May 3, 1927 — May 27, 2000

MADISONVILLE — Private funeral services for Jean Canard, 73, of Madisonville will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of J.M. Day Funeral Home in Madisonville.

Ms. Canard died Saturday at her home.

She was born in Mountain View, Ark., and owned and operated the first H&R Block franchise in Madisonville as well as operating an antique store.

Survivors include three sisters; Vauda N. White of Mountain View, Ark., Bonnie Brown of Cushman, Ark., and Bonita Bangs of Batesville, Ark.; three brothers, James D. Canard of LaPorte, Texas, Vernon Canard of Splendora, Texas, and Ivan Shaw of Porter, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

David Isacc Gomez
Dec. 29, 1982 — May 27, 2000

MADISONVILLE — Services for David Isacc Gomez, 17, of Madisonville are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville.

The Rev. Nicholas Perera will officiate. Burial will be in Madisonville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
David died Saturday.

He was born in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico, and had lived most of his life in Madisonville. He was a junior at Madisonville High School and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother, Gloria Garza of Madisonville; his step-father, Adolfo Garza Sr. of Madisonville; a brother, Adolfo Garza Jr. of Madisonville; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jurgen Mainzer
May 19, 1930 — May 28, 2000

Memorial services for Jurgen Mainzer, 70, of Hearne will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mr. Mainzer died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.

He was born in Bremerhaven, Germany, and had lived in Hearne since 1990. He specialized in the import/export businesses in Burbank, Calif., from 1960 to 1990. In Hearne, he raised horses and became an American citizen in 1996.

He competed in equestrian events, earning German Bronze and Silver riding medals and was a charter member and two time president of the California Dressage Society. He organized and managed the California Selection Trials for the Pan American and Olympic Games and held an International judge’s license in Dressage until he retired in 1996. He held a Master’s degree in Business Administration and taught dressage throughout the United States and Canada until shortly before his illness.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret J.M. Ezell-Mainzer of Hearne; a nephew, Joerg Mainzer of Hamburg, Germany; and an uncle, Klause Mainzer of Hamburg.

Mary Campion Pizalate
April 14, 1907 — May 28, 2000

HEARNE — Services for Mary Campion Pizalate, 93, of Mumford are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hearne.

The Rev. Gregg McLaughlin of St. Mary’s Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Tuesday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pizalate died Sunday in Beaumont, Texas.

She was born in Burleson County and had lived in Mumford for many years. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Pizalate.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lee A. “Cotton” and Mae Pizalate of Beaumont; a daughter, Pearl Boynton of Huntsville, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Audrey Campion of San Marcos, Texas; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Lydia Marie Wolf
Nov. 3, 1914 — May 28, 2000

Services for Lydia Marie Wolf, 85, of Dime Box, Texas, are set for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Brethren Church in Dime Box.

Interment will follow at Hranice Cemetery in Dime Box.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will accept friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Wolf.
Survivors include a brother, Frank Balcar of Dime Box; two sisters, Mary Mayer of Buckholts, Texas, and Rosette Fojtik of Brownwood, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edna Gertrude Dietz Bode
Nov. 13, 1896 — May 28, 2000

BRENHAM — Services for Edna Gertrude Dietz Bode, 103, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham.

The Revs. J. Elliott Pancoast and Lawrence Bade will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.

Mrs. Bode died Sunday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.

She was born in Berlin, Texas, and attended Berlin School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Bode Sr.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Toni Bode of El Campo, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ora Nell “Mickey” and Royce Jones of La Porte, Texas, and Joyce Grimm of Pasadena, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Beatrice Leslie Henry
Sunrise: Oct. 15, 1906 Sunset: May 27, 2000

Beatrice Leslie “Bebe” Henry was the fourth child of John Robert Hughes and Ella Jackson, an early pioneering family, from the community of Blue, Texas. She married Roy Lee Lawrence from the Lawrence Chapel community in 1923.

They had four children: Roy Hyman, Virgie Juanita, Glynnis Charcley and Kennard Layne.

Upon the untimely death of Roy in 1939, Bebe was wed to James Milton Henry on April 25, 1943. From this union three more children were born: Charlotte Sue, Sylvia Ann and William Leslie. The family resided in the Bryan-College Station area for over 40 years.

Her second husband, “Mit”, passed away on February 12, 1992. Along with her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, “Hy”; brothers, Joe and James Hughes; sisters, Ura, Dovie and Maude.

Survivors include: sons, Ken Lawrence and wife, Barbara from Taylor, Texas, Bill Henry from Pinehurst, Texas; daughters, Juanita Box from Temple, Texas, Glynnis Ledesma and husband, Jesse from Georgetown, Texas, Sylvia Ilschner from Georgetown, Sue Snow and husband Milton from Jewett, Texas.

Bebe is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren plus may friends from the Bryan-College station area.

Services for Mrs. Henry will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31st at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan, Texas.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, James Henry, Ray, Brian and Justin Lawrence, Rick Tenalio and Darin Snow.
