PARK - On January 15 (peacefully in hospital), of Darlington. Susan, aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Richard, loving mam of Stuart and Carole, mother-in-law of Susan and Robert, also a much loved grandma and great-grandma. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 19 at St. Mark's Church, North Road, 12.30 p.m., prior to interment in North Cemetery. Floral tributes may be sent to John Meynell Funeral Service, 150 North Road.

PARKER - Elizabeth (Betty), passed away peacefully in hospital on January 12, 2007, beloved wife of the late Ralph, much loved mum of Glen and Ian, dear mother-in-law of Carole and Barbara and a loving grandma of Craig and Scott. She will be sadly missed by all of us. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 11.15 a.m. No flowers please. Donations in lieu will go to St. Teresa's Hospice, Darlington.

PARKIN - January 12, of St. Aidans Lodge, (formerly of Bearpark). Florence May, aged 92 years. A dear sister of Roger, sister-in-law of Charlotte and will be sadly missed by all the family. Friends please meet for service at Bearpark Methodist Church on Monday January 22, at 1.45 p.m. followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be given after the service for St. Cuthbert's Hospice. Friends welcome for refreshments in Beaurepaire Communal Hall afterwards.

PHILLIPS - On January 14 (of Darlington). Fred, aged 81 years, beloved husband of Edna and loving dad of Linda. The funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 24 at Darlington Crematorium 1.15 p.m. Friends welcome, please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in lieu may be made to The Alzheimer's Society, North East Area Office, Sinclair Court, Darrell Street, Brunswick Village, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE13 7DS (a plate will also be provided at the crematorium).

PRATTLEY - January 14, in hospital, of The Grange Care Home, Darlington, formerly of Sadberge. Emily, in her 98th year, beloved wife of the late Charles Alfred, dearly loved mother of Dora and Ena, also a much loved gran, great-gran and great-great-gran. Funeral Tuesday, January 23. Friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Sadberge at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only. Donations may be left for church funds.

REA - January 16, of Bishop Auckland. Frank, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Angela, devoted dad of Frances and Theresa, dear father-in-law to Michael, a much loved and loving granda, also dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Wilfrid's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 12.30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, followed by cremation at Durham. Immediate family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left in church for Church Funds and Cancer Research. R.I.P.

RILEY - January 17 (peacefully). Margaret (nee Gavin), aged 98 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Owen, also a much loved mother and grandmother. Will friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Coxhoe on Tuesday, January 23 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment at Metal Bridge. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. R.I.P.

ROBERTS - Muriel Constance January 15, suddenly but peacefully, in hospital after 84 special years full of vitality and humour. Connie, much loved wife, partner, companion and friend of Godfrey for 70 years, lovely and loving mum of Helen and the late Susan, a cherished mother-in-law of Charlie, caring and fun gran of Louise, James, Tom and Jessica and great-grandma of Rachel, also dear sister of Jean, Winnie and the late Christine. Family, friends and neighbours are all very welcome to attend a celebration of her life at St. Mary's Church, Gainford on Tuesday, January 23 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private interment.

ROBINSON - Fred January 11. Fred of Billingham, (formerly Horden). Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty), father of Beatrice and father-in-law of Frank, proud grandfather of Helen and Ian. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday January 17, at Hartlepool Crematorium at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only please. No cards or letters by request. Donations in lieu, c/o his daughter, for Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Frank, aged 81 years, of Charrington Avenue, Thornaby, beloved husband of Charlotte, dearly loved father of Tony and Christine, much loved grandfather to Christopher and Samantha. Funeral at St. Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium at 11.30 a.m. Thursday, January 18. All friends welcome.

RUSSELL - January 12, passed away peacefully in Barrington Lodge Care Home, (late of Wear View, Byers Green). Hazel, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Ted, much loved mam of Alan and Pauline, mother-in-law of Allan, loving gran of Andrew and Darren. Would family and friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday January 22, at 1.00 p.m. All are welcome back at Wear View, Byers Green for refreshments.

SCHRIER - Edith, (Pip), nee Henderson, formerly of Crook, died January 11 in Whipps Cross Hospital, London, aged 89 years. Dearly loved sister of Jean Cowing and a treasured aunt of Linda, Brian, Ruth and their families. Happy memories of love and laughter.

SEGGER - Darlington January 12 (at home), of Hewitson Road. Ian (Bim), aged 53 years, much loved husband of Sonia, devoted dad to Paula and her husband Karl. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral Friday, January 19. Would friends kindly meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 10.15 a.m. A plate will be provided for donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, in aid of the Macmillan Nurses or Cancer Research U.K.

SIBLEY - On January 15, suddenly in hospital, after a short illness, of Northallerton. Bill, aged 71 years, dearly loved husband of Christine, loving father of Jonathon. Funeral service and cremation to take place at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, January 23 at 1.15 p.m. Flowers welcome, or donations if wished, may be given for the Macmillan Nurses.

SIDDLE - January 15 (peacefully, after a short illness), of West Cornforth. James (Jim), aged 84 years, a devoted husband of Doreen, a loving father of Geoff and Bev, dear father-in-law of Susan, much loved grandad of Roxanne, Gemma, Rikki and Matthew, also a special person to Geordie. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, January 24 at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to Marie Curie Nurses. STOODLEY - January 18, unexpectedly in hospital, of Whitehart Crescent, Darlington. Grace, aged 67 years, dearly loved mother of David, Cindy, Michelle and Senga and also a much loved nana, sister and aunty. Funeral Thursday. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 1.45 p.m.

Nora Elizabeth, aged 85 years, beloved wife of the late Rex, loving mam of Bryan, Beryl and June, a much loved mother-in-law to Ron, treasured nan to Kath-ryn and Deborah, also a dearly loved great-nan to Michaela, Abigail and Daniel. Funeral Friday, January 19. Would friends please meet 2.15 p.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.
