Linda, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Tom, dearly loved mother of Clive and Colin, a dear mother-in-law of Barbara and Jean, also a devoted nana and great-nana. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium Monday at 12.30 p.m.

Jim, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Moira, dearly loved father of David, Brian, Alan and John, a much loved father-in-law of Jenifer, Lynne and Helen and a dear grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral Friday. Friends please meet for service in All Saints' Church, Blackwell at 11.00 a.m., followed by cremation. Donations may be given for All Saints' Church.

HARBRON-ROBINSON October 18. Oenone, aged 77 years, of Aycliffe Village. Will be a sad loss and greatly missed. Funeral private.

HARDING On October 14 (suddenly in hospital), of Darlington. Alan, aged 65 years, son of the late Ronald and stepson of the late Eileen (nee Doyle), loving brother of Pat, Eileen, Stewart and Jack. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 27, 3.15 p.m. at Darlington Crematorium. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Margaret, aged 73 years, dearest wife of the late Fred, beloved mam of Stephen and Denise, dear mother-in-law of Ian and also a treasured nana and sister. Funeral Thursday, October 23. Will friends please meet 11.00 a.m. for Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe, prior to interment in Stephenson Way Ceme-tery.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, October 24 1.00 p.m. at Cockerton Methodist Church, prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Friends please meet at the church. Will friends please meet for service in St. Cuthbert's Church, Etherley at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. HETHERINGTON October 15 (in hospital), of 83 Raby Road, Ferryhill (formerly of 1 Laurel Road). Alma, aged 74 years, dearly loved sister, loved by all. Cortege leaving residence at 11.15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, for service in St. Luke's Church at 11.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

HEWITT Valerie In memory of Valerie Hewitt beloved wife of Brian and mother of Amanda and Samantha who died in a tragic accident on 9th October 2003. She will remain dearly loved and completely irreplaceable for the rest of our lives. Funeral Service and cremation at the East Riding Crematorium Octon on Friday October 24, at 3pm

HOBAN On October 21, tragically, of 20 Douglas Villas, Gilesgate, Durham. Philip David, aged 38 years, beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, treasured great-uncle and godfather and friend to many. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Gilesgate on Tuesday, October 28 at 11.00 a.m., interment to follow in Belmont Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to The Samaritans. Together now with Paul, may they rest in peace.

HOBAN Philip David, Gilesgate, died tragically on October 21, 2003. Funeral arrangements to follow.

George Edward, aged 88 years, the much loved and loving husband of Jessie, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle, also a good friend. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Witton Park at 12.00 noon on Thursday, October 30, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. IRWIN Eva Hunter (Aunt Eva), aged 92 years, of Maunby, formerly of Hauxwell, died peacefully at Morris Grange Nursing Home on October 16. Beloved daughter of the late Joe and Eva Irwin (Greenberry Grange, Scorton), a loving sister, sister-in-law and auntie and will be greatly missed by family and friends old and new. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, October 23 at 2.45 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only. If desired, donations may be given at the crematorium chapel for the Stroke Association and Maunby Methodist Church Funds.

George Robert (Bob), aged 84 years, beloved husband of Alice, loving father of Margaret, Pauline and David and also a dear father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad, brother and brother-in-law. McMAHON October 19 (peacefully, in hospital), of Brandon. Dennis, aged 62 years (Durham City Councillor and Education Welfare Officer). Dearly loved husband of Doreen and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
