MURRAY John Monday, October 20, peacefully, in hospital (formerly of 1 Holmside Walk). John, in his 90th year, beloved husband of Mary, much loved dad of Keith, Doris and Ann, loving father-in-law of Nancy, Maurice and Bill and grandad, great-grandad and great-great-grandad. Will be sadly missed. Service and cremation to take place on Monday, October 27 at 9.00 a.m. in St. Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium. Friends and relatives please meet at the chapel.

Kathleen, aged 79 years, dearly loved sister of Tom, Jim and Elsie, much loved aunt of Christine, Steven, Carole and Duncan and sadly missed by all the families. Cortege leaving residence Monday at 1.00 p.m. for private service and cremation at Durham at 1.30 p.m.

NAISBITT October 20. Peter, aged 52 years, devoted husband of Pamela, beloved son of the late Joe and Joan, dearest brother of Shirley and brother-in-law of Peter, loved and respected uncle and great-uncle. Will be missed by all the family. Funeral to take place in Chicago, U.S.A.

Lilian, aged 72 years, beloved wife of the late Wilf, dearly loved mam of Christine, Michael, Karen and Valerie, also a much loved mother-in-law, nana and nana Lilian to Joshua, dear sister of Doreen and friend of Dawn. Funeral Tuesday. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m.

PIPER On October 14. Olive (nee Thompson), aged 89 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Leslie, dearly loved mother of Leslie, David, Jennifer, Kathleen, Norman and Marjorie, dearest mother-in-law and grandmother of all the family. Cremation at Wilford Hill Crematorium, Nottingham on Thursday followed at 3.15 p.m. by a service of thanksgiving at the William Booth Complex, Sneinton Road, Nottingham. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, if desired, to Notintone Home for Elderly People, Sneinton Road, Nottingham, NG2 4QL.

POWELL October 22 (after a long illness), of School Avenue, Coxhoe. William (Billy), aged 64 years, dearly loved husband of Marjorie, loving dad of Sandra and Linda, dearest father-in-law of Tony and Warren, a much loved granda of Emma, Steven and Daniel and also a dear brother of Ronnie and Dick. Service to be held in St. Paul's Methodist Chapel, Kelloe on Tuesday at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment in St. Mary's Churchyard, Coxhoe. Family flowers only. Ada (nee Allinson), aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Jack, a dearly loved mother of Peter, Barbara and Allan and a loving mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.
