HUNTER - February 23, peacefully, at 5 Edward Avenue, Bowburn. Lilian, aged 68 years dearly loved wife of Alan, also a dear mam and gran. Friends please meet for service at Bowburn Methodist Church on Monday, March 3 at 9.45 a.m. Cremation to follow. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Freeman Hospital, Ward 5 c/o Stuart Wright Funeral Service, Gilesgate, Durham.


IZATT - February 21 (peacefully), of Hackworth House, Shildon. Stuart, aged 85 years, beloved husband of the late Annie. Will be sadly missed by family and friends. Grateful thanks to all staff of Hackworth House for the care and support given to Stuart. Leslie Frank, aged 84 years, beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Bell), devoted dad of Christine and Lesley, a dear father-in-law, also a much loved and loving grandad and great-grandad. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, February 28. Family flowers only. Donations may, if desired, be left at the crematorium for the Butterwick Hospice.


LAMB - February 22, (peacefully, at home). Margaret, known as Peggy, aged 95 years, of Witton Gilbert with her adoring family. Friends please meet for service at Witton Gilbert Church on Friday February 29, at 10.45 a.m. followed by cremation at Durham.


LARCOMBE - On February 17, in hospital in York. Hugh (formerly of Croft-on-Tees), aged 85 years. Dear husband of Joan, much loved father of James and Christine and their families. Funeral at York Crematorium 1.00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27. Memorial service in Croft to follow shortly.


LIDDELL - February 26, suddenly at home, in Leeming Bar. Susan, aged 63 years, dearly loved wife of George, sister of Rosemary and a very dear aunt. Funeral service to be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Leeming on Wednesday, March 5 at 2.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Leeming Church Funds.


LIGHTFOOT - Janet Marjorie (Jan), aged 57 years, of Brompton-on-Swale died peacefully in hospital on February 16. Beloved wife of the late Martin, much loved mother of Richard and Matthew and loving grandma to Bethany. Funeral service at St. Paul's Church, Brompton-on-Swale on Friday, February 29 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in the Cemetery. Friends please meet at the Church. LOWTHER - February 26 (peacefully at home), of Copley Bent. Edith Muriel, aged 99 years, dearly loved wife of the late John. Joy, aged 70 years, beloved wife of Douglas, mother of Alex, Elizabeth and Sarah and a sister of Trish McDonald. Service at St. John's Church, Nevilles Cross on Tuesday, March 4 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment in South Road Cemetery.

Evelyn, aged 90 years, dearly loved mam of Bobby, Irene and Alan, mother-in-law of Brenda, Stuart and Margaret, also a much loved nana and great-nana. Funeral Tuesday, March 4. Would friends please meet 10.45 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.


MASON - Derek John, aged 63 years, of Fairfield, Evenwood, died peacefully at home on February 21, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved husband of Judith, much loved dad of Carolyn and Jon, loving granda to Joseph and Daniel, beloved son of Phoebe and the late Joss, very special brother to Angela and a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Funeral service at the Cornerstone Christian Centre, Evenwood on Thursday, February 28 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the Christian Centre.
