TIPPINS October 16, peacefully, of Darlington. Gladys, dear sister of Muriel, Sybil and the late Stella. Funeral Friday. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m.

TYERMAN October 17 (in hospital), of Thirlby, Thirsk. Maud, aged 95 years, a good friend and neighbour of Bob and everyone in Thirlby. The funeral service will be held at St. Felix Church, Felixkirk, Thirsk on Wednesday, October 29 at 12.30 p.m., followed by private cremation.

WALBURN October 11 (tragically), of Darlington. Ryan, aged 30 years, beloved son of Dennis and Sharon, a much loved brother of Joan, Sean, Damian and Kieran, a loving grandson and a dearest nephew, also a dear uncle. Service at St. James the Great Church, Albert Hill, Darlington on Friday, October 24 at 10.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Will friends please meet at church. WALKER October 17, of Spennymoor (after a short illness). Edith Mary, aged 54 years, dearly loved wife of Graham, a much loved mam of Nigel, Scott and Karen. WALKER October 18 (died after a tragic accident), of Coniston Close, Belmont. Peter, aged 52 years, will be much missed by all his family and friends. Please meet for service at St. Mary Magdalene Church on Friday, October 24 at 2.10 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

Enid (nee Spencer), aged 66 years, dearly loved wife of Raymond, a much loved sister of the late Billy and a dear sister-in-law and aunty. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor Friday for a service at 9.45 a.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.

WISEMAN October 20. Hilda Hannah, formerly of Hartford Road, Darlington, passed away peacefully at Westminster Nursing Home, Bourne, Lincolnshire, aged 95 years. Much loved mother of Alison. Funeral service on Thursday, October 30 at 11.00 a.m. at St. Firmin's Church, Thurlby, Bourne, Lincolnshire. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Firmin's Church Restoration Fund c/o R.J. Scholes, Wherrys Lane, Bourne, Lincolnshire PE10 9HQ.

ALDERSON October 26 (peacefully, in hospital). Gilbert, aged 83 years, of Romanby, Northallerton. Much loved husband of Raye, dearly loved father of Terry and Kathleen and a treasured grandad. Jean, aged 63 years, beloved wife of Tony, loving mam of Sharon, Arthur and the late Michael, dear mother-in-law of Rachael and Sam, devoted nana of Jayne, Anthony, Gemma, Mark, Cameo and Charlie and great-grandma of Caitlyn and also a dear sister and aunt. Friends please meet for service at Willington Methodist Church on Monday November 3, at 11.00 a.m. Interment to follow. Family and friends are welcome afterwards at Willington W.M.C.

Catherine (Cathy, nee Cowling), aged 85 years, much loved mam of Pam and Janet, loving mother-in-law of Colin and Jon, dearly loved grandma of Diane, Neil, Andrew, Kirstin, Iain and David, also a great-grandma to Mark, Samantha and Jessica. Funeral Friday October 31. Would friends please meet 2.00 p.m. for service at St. Mary's Church, Cockerton, Darlington followed by interment in the West Cemetery.

Church, Tudhoe Village Friday for a service at 10.00 .m., followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery.

CROSBY October 25 (peacefully, in hospital), of Parkstone House, Tudhoe Village. Joan, aged 72 years, beloved wife of the late Dennis, much adored mam of Yvonne and Denise, loving mother-in-law of Richard and Brian and also a devoted grandma of Kellie, Tracey, Jayne, Philippa and Karl. Service and committal at Durham Crematorium Chapel on Friday at 1.30 p.m. Friends and family are invited for refreshments afterwards at The Green Tree, Tudhoe Village.
