DAVIES - Paul Evan John Late of Parkside, Darlington, died January 28 at the R.V.I. Newcastle after a tragic accident. Reunited with Mam and Dad and will be sadly missed by all his family. R.I.P.


DAWSON - Geoffrey Passed away peacefully on February 2 after a long illness fought with courage and dignity. Geoff, aged 39 years, devoted husband of Tracy, loving daddy of Elizabeth, Dominic, Jack, Danielle and Benjamin, son of Ken and the late Audrey, also a special brother, brother in law, uncle and friend to many. Funeral service and cremation to take place on Wednesday, February 13 in the Chapel of St Bede, Teesside Crematorium at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if so desired to St. Teresa's Hospice, 91 Woodland Road, Darlington. DOBBIN - February 5, peacefully. Joe, aged 75 years, of Newton Aycliffe, a dearly loved uncle and great-uncle. Funeral Friday, February 15. Would friends please meet 9.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe, prior to cremation at Darlington.


DYKES - February 2, with dignity in Barrington Lodge, surrounded by his loving family. James Edward (Jim), aged 90 years, of Bishop Auckland, devoted husband of the late Margaret, adored dad of Sandra, Geoff, Carol, Val, Judith and Joanne, a dear father-in-law, also a much loved and loving grandad and great-grandad. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland at 10.30 a.m., on Monday, February 11, followed by cremation at Durham. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be given for the Kohima Memorial Trust, c/o the family.


DYKES - Grandad We'll miss you more than words can say but we'll think about you every day. Wonderful memories we'll treasure forever, of the happy times we spent together. Nicola, Julie, Claire, Kate, Jill, Lewis, Jordan and Mia.


ELLIOT - February 2. Helen, aged 91 years, of Gainford, the beloved wife of the late Hugh and the most dearest mother of Robert and Anne and grandmother of Simon and Hannah. Eleanor, aged 86 years, dearly loved sister of Dorothy and Tim, sister-in-law of Becky and auntie of Stuart, Peter and Derek. Funeral Thursday, February 7. Friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Aldbrough St. John at 12.15 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please.


FENWICK - On February 2, of Merry Oaks, Durham (died peacefully in St. Cuthbert's Hospice, Durham). Margaret, aged 75 years, beloved wife of Jack, a much loved mam of Graham, Michael, David and mother-in-law of Susan and Carol, a dearly loved grandma of Samantha, Andrew, Shaun, Daniel and Luke and a great-grandma of Leo, a loving sister of Neville and his wife Dorothy and a special auntie to all. Would friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Nevilles Cross on Friday, February 8 at 10.15 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Evelyn (nee Robinson), aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late Frank, a dearly loved sister of Flori and the late Betty and a loving aunty. Would friends please meet in Trinity Methodist Church, Rosa Street, Tuesday for a service at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in Rock Road Cemetery.


GIBSON - February 2, of Southfield Lodge, Crook. Eva, aged 83 years. Beloved wife of the late George, loving aunt of Ellen and Margaret and also a dear great-aunt. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Friday February 8, at 3.00 p.m. All are welcome for refreshments afterwards at The Burn, Willington.


GILL - February 2, formerly of Manchester and Peterlee. Sheila, aged 71 years, devoted wife of the late Harry, a much loved mother, nan and great-gran. Will family and friends please meet for service in St. Cuthbert's Church, Peterlee at 1.00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, followed by interment in Thorpe Road Cemetery. Donations in lieu, if desired, for the Alzheimer's Centre at Blackhall Colliery.

HAYTON - Terry, aged 64 years, of Hambleton Place, Thirsk on February 2 at home, after a long illness borne with courage and dignity, a dearly loved husband of Dorothy, a much loved dad of Gary, Paul and Angela, very dear step-dad of Chris, Nigel, Tracy and Tom, father-in-law of Richard, Tracy, Vicki and Albert, proud grandad of Dylan, Owen, Lucas and Paige, Anthony, Alison and Louise, also Samantha and David, a very special brother of Vera and brother-in-law of Mick, Doug and Sylvia. Funeral service Wednesday February 13 at 11.00 a.m. at St. Oswald's Church, Sow-erby. Will friends please meet at the Church. No flowers, by request. HEALEY - John, aged 64 years, originally of Teal Road, Darlington, passed away peacefully at Abbey Care Home, Scorton on February 6. John was the son of Bernard and Mary, father to Marie and Helen, husband to Val, father-in-law to Richard and grandfather to Lucy and Edward. His funeral service will be held at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, February 14 at 3.45 p.m. John is resting with Seaton Leng and Son, 59a Bondgate, Darlington, DL3 7JR.


HEDLEY - February 1, of Springfield Park, North End, Durham. Peter, aged 57 years, beloved husband of Diane, a loving father of Lee and Jonathan. Friends please meet for service at St. John's Church, Nevilles Cross on Friday, February 8 at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Afterwards all welcome to the Northumbria Suite, Lumley Castle, Chester-le-Street to celebrate Peter's life. Family flowers only please.
