Dearly loved husband of Judith, much loved dad of Julian and Sara, loving grandad to Naomi, Jonathan and Tom and great-grandad to Jessica. Funeral service took place at Richmond Cemetery Chapel on Friday, February 29, followed by interment in the Ceme-tery.


JACKSON - Terence, of Sandhutton, Thirsk, on March 4, after a long illness borne with courage, dignity and humour. Dearly loved husband of Sue, much loved father of Rebecca and partner Gareth and treasured father of Catherine and father-in-law of Steve. The funeral service will be held at Sowerby Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 11 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment at Sandhutton Churchyard.


JORDAN - George On February 25, suddenly at home. George, aged 83 years, of Newton Aycliffe, dearly beloved husband of the late Gwendoline, much loved brother of Douglas and the late Norman Geoffrey, brother-in-law of Olive and Anne. Funeral Friday, March 7. Would friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 1.45 p.m., prior to cremation. Family flowers only please. Mabel, aged 94 years, dearly loved wife of the late Frederick, much loved mam of Clive, Audrey, Paul, Linda, Colin and Robin, dear mother-in-law, loving grandma of Elizabeth and great-grandma of Eve. LEE - Irene (nee Cross), of Ferryhill, aged 85 years, peacefully in Darlington Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of Jack, a dearly loved mother of Jennifer and Bryan, much loved sister of Joe and Les and sister-in-law of Phyllis, a much loved grandmother of Kathy, Debbie, Laura and Fiona and loved great-grandmother of Jack. Loved and missed by all. LEWINS - Albert Wilkinson. Beloved husband of the late Vera and dear father to Moira and the late Anthony, brother to Marie and the late Eileen, father-in-law of John and Marilyn and much loved grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully in Memorial Hospital, Darlington on February 25, aged 86 years. Will be sadly missed. Funeral service to be held on Monday, March 10 in Gainford Methodist Church at 11.30 a.m., prior to interment in Gainford Cemetery. Friends please meet at church. Pamela (nee James), much loved wife of Malcolm, loving mam of Sarah and Robert, mother-in-law of Lee and cherished gran of Eleanor, a much loved sister and auntie. MARLEY - March 3, of Sunnybrow. Stella, aged 91 years, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Hannah Marley, a very dear friend of Doris, also a dear aunt. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 1.30 p.m. on Monday, March 10.


MARSHALL - Lanchester March 1, peacefully at home. George W.L., aged 84 years (retired Chief Superintendent of Durham Police), a dearly beloved husband of Renee, a much loved dad of George, a greatly loved grandad, great-grandad and father-in-law. Sadly missed by all his family and friends. Friends please meet for service at Lanchester Methodist Church on Friday March 7 at 10.00 a.m. Cremation to follow at Mountsett. Family flowers only. A much loved son of Margaret and the late Max, loving partner of Takashi, treasured brother of Laurence and Fay and brother-in-law of Diana, also a dear uncle of Rachael, Claire, Danny and Holly and much loved nephew of Rita. Will friends please meet for service on Thursday, March 6 at Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Teresa's Hospice at the crematorium.


O'CONNOR - February 26, peacefully, in hospital. Amy (nee Fulcher), aged 76 years, of Wheatley Hill, beloved wife of Ernest, loving mam of Alison and dearest gran of Amy. Private cremation for family. No flowers please by request.

Edith (nee Woodland), aged 73 years, a dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Sid who will be sadly missed by all her family, friends and neighbours. Dearly loved wife of John, much loved mum of Allan, Stephen, Leslie and Gerald, dear mother-in-law to Carol, Ruth, Clare and Kathryn and loving gran to Aimee, Faye, Jessica, Jonathan, Holly, Chloe, Phoebe, Hannah, Niamh and Amber.
