CONNOR April 16, of Hall Lane Estate, Willington. John, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Pauline, loving father and father-in-law of John, David and Rose, Paul and Novellete, Ann and James; also a devoted grandad of Lee, Hayley, Jade, Adam, Gary and Collette. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass at Our Lady and St. Thomas R.C. Church, Willington on Tuesday, April 22 at 11.00 a.m., interment to follow.

COOPE Brian, aged 77 years, of Hunton, died peacefully in hospital on April 16. Dearly loved husband of Mavis and a very much loved dad, grandad and great-grandad. Derrick, aged 72 years, dearly loved husband of Joan, a much loved father of Lynn and father-in-law of Mike, also a devoted grandpa of Ashley and Sam and a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral service to be held at St. James' Church, Romanby on Wednesday, April 16 at 12.00 noon, followed by interment. Family flowers only. COVERDALE Ellen Amelia, of Dale Road, Barnard Castle, died April 13, 2003, aged 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank, a devoted mother of Michael, Shirley, Lynne and the late John. Adored by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a much loved mother-in-law of Alan, Shirley Rose and Steve. Funeral service Tuesday, April 22 at St. Mary's Parish Church, Newgate, Barnard Castle at 9.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only please. John Ernest (Jack) Daggett, aged 72 years, beloved husband of Gwen, much loved father of Christine, Richard and Keith, father-in-law of Bryan and dear grandad of Julie, Laura and Ben. DALTON Leila May (née Dodsworth), formerly of Thirsk. passed away peacefully on April 9, aged 92 years, at Rockdale House, Sevenoaks. DOLMAN April 9. Rosemary, nee Brown Simpson, of Darlington. Ex-Librarian of Esh Winning, aged 60 years, died peacefully in hospital after a long illness, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Alan, mother of Mark and Heather, sister of John and Christine and a devoted grandmother. Rosemary left her body to Newcastle University Medical School. Prayers of Thanksgiving for her life and generosity will be given on April 27 during the 10.00 a.m. Mass at St. James' the Great, Albert Hill, Darlington. ELLIOTT (nee Urwin) Margaret Elizabeth, aged 80 years, of 46 The Green, High Coniscliffe (late of The Duke of Wellington), died peacefully after a long illness. Beloved wife of Tommy, dearly loved mam of John, dear mother-in-law of Kath and loving grandma of John, Matthew and Sophie. Funeral Thursday, April 24.
