Service at Munn’s Funeral Parlour, Fishescoats, Burnside, tomorrow Tuesday, 14th October, at 10.20am and thereafter to Rutherglen Cemetery. No flowers please.

JOPSON Douglas Thomas Of Kelvedon. Peacefully at his home on 4th October 2008, aged 78 years. Loving Husband of Pat, dear Dad of Paul, Father in law to Cathy, Granddad and special Step Granddad of Alison & Daniel. Funeral Service will take place at Colchester Crematorium on Friday 17th October at 10.15am. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Diabetes UK may be sent to Janet C. Peacefully, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, on Friday 4th April, 2008, Molly, beloved wife of the late Frank, loving mother to Mary, Patricia and Francis and dear mother-in-law, gran, sister and aunt to all the family. Reception and vigil at St Matthew’s R.C. Church, Bishop-briggs, on Wednesday 9th April, at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 10th April, at 10am, thereafter to St Kentigern’s Cemetery. BURNS — MARY. Peacefully, at Southern General Hospital, on Saturday, 4th October, 2008, Mary, beloved wife of Gilbert, loving mother to Mary, Jean, Barbara, Gilbert, John and Helen, a much loved gran and great-gran to many grandchildren. Sadly missed by all the family.

HARVEY — ROMA (nee Pawlowicz). Peacefully, at Gartnavel Hospital, on Monday, 29th September 2008, Roma, beloved wife of Danny, dearly loved daughter of Janina and the late Jan, a much loved sister, daughter-in-law, aunt and sister-in-law and a good friend to many.

GIFFEN — CRAIG ROBERT. Son of the late Andy and Alice Giffen, dad to Andrew and Stacey and brother to Janis, died peacefully at home, after a short illness. Funeral service at Clydebank Crematorium, North Dalnottar, on Wednesday, 3rd September 2008, at 11.30am.

EDWARD — NORMAN. Surrounded by his devoted family, at Roxburghe House, Dundee, on Tuesday, 7th October 2008, the brilliant, beautiful and unique Dr Norrie Edward (formerly of Clarkston). Gone to the great cycle path in the sky. Funeral service at Selwood Funeral Directors, Service Room, 77-79 Dundee Street, Carnoustie, on Monday 13th October, at 10.15am, interment thereafter at Shanwell Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please, donations if desired, for Maggie’s Centre, Dundee, will be received at the service room.

SIMEON — DARREN. Tragically, on 14th September, 2008, Darren (Simmy) aged 32, loved to bits by his fiancee Debbie, doting, fun loving dad of Barry, Leo and Max, step-dad of Abbey and precious son of Sylvia. Will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral service at Faifley Parish Church, on Tuesday, 23rd September, at 12.30pm and thereafter to Langfaulds Cemetery.

McAULAY — JAMIE. Suddenly, at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, on Monday, 4th August, 2008, Jamie, aged 11 years, a much loved son of his heartbroken family Jim and Jacqueline, a loving brother to Emma and a much loved grandson and nephew. Jamie was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Funeral service at Linn Crematorium (St Mungo Chapel), Lainshaw Drive, on Thursday, 14th August, at 12 noon, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please.

WALLACE — WILLIAM. Peacefully, in the good care of Avonbridge Home, on 5th October, 2008. Beloved husband of Audrey and much loved father of Gordon and Mark, proud grandfather of Eleanor and Andrew. Service of thanksgiving at Cadzow Parish Church, Woodside Walk, Hamilton, on Saturday, 11th October 2008.

BUTTERFIELD, Annie Of High Wycombe and Blackfield, Hants. On the 4th January 2008, peacefully at Southampton General Hospital, aged 80 years. Beloved wife of Ron, dearly loved mother of Philip and Sue, mother-in-law to Gary and Lesley, Nan to Stacey, Victoria and Paul. In our hearts forever.

McAULAY — ANN. Peacefully, at the Beatson, on Friday 3rd October, 2008, Ann, aged 47, much loved mother, sister and aunt to the family. Funeral Mass at St Robert’s R.C. Church, Peat Road, Pollok, on Monday 13th October, at 10am, thereafter to Linn Cemetery, arriving at 11.30am.

JAMIESON — JOHN. On 13th September, 2008, peacefully, at Dumfries Infirmary, John Alexander Jamieson, formerly of Upper Locharwoods and Barngarth, dearly loved husband of the late Rena, loved father of Maybeth and John, father-in-law of Helen, and a dear grandpa to Emma, Hannah and Graham
