Funeral service of thanksgiving at Stranton Grange Crematorium, Tanfield Road, Hartlepool, Thursday, 2.00 p.m. Friends and neighbours please meet at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Respiratory Fund, Ward 26, University Hospital of North Tees, Hardwick Road, Stockton, TS19 8PE. When for a while we part, this thought will soothe our pain. That we shall still be joined in heart and hope to meet again.

BULMER December 8, suddenly but peacefully in hospital, of Shildon. Robert William, aged 83 years, loving father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather and a special friend of Lily. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Darlington Crematorium on Wednesday, December 17 at 11.45 a.m.

BUTLER December 7, of Farm Close, Bishop Auckland. George Herbert, aged 80 years, dearly loved husband of Margaret, a devoted father of Philip and David and a dear father-in-law of Tracy and Patricia, also a much loved grandad of Becca and a dear brother to Maud. Interment Friday, December 12 in Witton Park Cemetery. Cortege leaving from residence at 1.35 p.m., for a service in Woodhouse Close Church at 1.45 p.m. Friends please meet at church.

Mary, aged 86 years, beloved wife of the late James Owen, dearest mam of Maureen and Rosemary, mother-in-law of Frank and the late Dennis, devoted gran of Paula, Andrea, Nick, Philippa, Phil, James, Marie, Bernadette and Martin, also a dear great-grandma. Funeral Tuesday. Would friends please meet at 10.00 a.m. for Requiem Mass in All Saints' R.C. Church, Ferryhill, followed by interment at Chilton Cemetery. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy. CLIFFORD Joseph Winston Born Gurney Valley, County Durham, August 10, 1915, died December 3, 2003, High Wycombe, Bucks. Husband of the late Margaret Jane (nee Ottowell), March 6, 1921 died May 19, 1980. Father to Sheila, Wendy and Anne. Will be sadly missed by his only surviving brother Ron and six grandsons. Funeral Thursday, December 11, 4.00 p.m. at The Chilterns Crematorium, Amersham, Bucks. R.I.P.

Iris Doreen, aged 74 years, much loved mum of Maxine, Neil, Beverley and Noreen, also a loving grandma and great-grandma. Funeral Monday, December 15. Hugh, aged 84 years, much loved husband of Audrey and a dearly loved father of Mary, Angela and Edmund and a much loved grandad of Khalik, Alice, Amarta and Jamie. Cortege leaving residence Tuesday at 10.20 a.m. Friends please meet at St. Peter and St. Paul's R.C. Church, Hutton Henry for a Requiem Mass at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment. Fortified by the Rites of the Holy Church. R.I.P.

CONNOLLY December 8, peacefully in hospital, of Chichester Walk, Darlington. Arthur, aged 84 years, dearly loved husband of Olive Margaret, a dear dad of Susan and Paul. DENHAM Arthur, aged 88 years, formerly of Sink House Farm, Ingleton, died peacefully at Whorlton Grange Nursing Home, Whorlton on December 3. A dear uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle. HECKLEY September 25, Albert, aged 69 years. Beloved son of the late Albert and Ethel May Heckley. Beloved brother of Margaret and brother-in-law to Jack. Others knew when to say goodbye, no-one told me I wonder why. Death leaves heartache no-one can heal. Memories are my treasures no-one can steal. In Heavenly love abiding.
