BAKER Keith, aged 66 years, of Calvert Cottage, Kiplin Hall, Scorton, died peacefully in hospital on January 2, after a short illness. Much loved partner of Elaine, very dear brother to Margaret, David and the late John and a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Bolton-on-Swale on Thursday, January 8 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment in Scorton Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Floral tributes, if desired, are being accepted by John Blenkiron and Sons Ltd., Funeral Directors, Victoria House, 21 Queens Road, Richmond.

ARMSTRONG Janet, aged 54 years, of Belmont Farm, Tunstall, died suddenly in hospital, on January 4, 2004, after a short illness courageously borne. Devoted wife of Willie, loved mother of Joanne and Mark, dear mother-in-law of Janet, much loved grandma of Sarah, Jack, Harry and George and a dear sister, sister-in-law and auntie. Cremation private, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Mary's Church, Hornby today Friday, January 9 at 1.00 p.m. Friends please meet at the church.
