Agnes Jane (nee Hindmarch), aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late George, a dearly loved mam of Jack, Terry, Jeff and Keith, a loving mother-in-law, a much loved gran and great-grandma and a dear sister. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor, Thursday for a service at 2.15 p.m. followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery. All welcome for refreshments afterwards at The Quinns Inn.

EMBLETON Joseph (Joe), aged 72 years, of Skeeby, near Richmond, died suddenly at home on January 5. Dearly loved husband of Elsie, much loved dad of Janet, Jill and Charlie, loving grandad of Jenny and great-grandad of Jamie and Megan. Funeral service at St. Agatha's Church, Easby on Tuesday, January 13 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. No flowers please. Audrey, aged 65 years, dearly loved wife of the late Ricky, a dear mam of Thomas, Barry, Wendy and David, also a much loved mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Cortege leaving residence at 11.05 a.m. on Monday, January 12 for service in the Village Methodist Church at 11.15 a.m., followed by interment at Duncombe Cemetery.

Avis, aged 77 years, dearly beloved wife of Robert, loving mother of Frank, Allan, Jimmy and Janet, a dear mother-in-law, also a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Interment Easington Colliery Thursday. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at The Church of the Ascension at 12.00 noon.

FLATMAN Lynn Suddenly on January 3, while on holiday in Tenerife. Lynn, aged 43 years, dear wife of Billy, loving mother of Marc and future mother-in-law to Carly. The memorial service will take place for family and close friends at Darlington Crematorium on Wednesday, January 14 at 10.45 a.m.

FRANCIS Suddenly, January 4, of Bishop Auckland. Maria Pearl (nee Lowe), aged 78 years, beloved wife of the late George, devoted mother of Valerie, Phill and George, a dear mother-in-law, much loved and loving gran and great-gran, a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt, also Mar to many. Cortege to leave her daughter Valerie's residence in Hunwick at 12.50 p.m. on Monday, January 12, for Requiem Mass in St. Wilfrid's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Will friends please meet at church. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may, if desired, be given for St. Wilfrid's Church Funds. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

Mary Agnes, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Joseph, dearly loved mother of Helen, mother-in-law of Jim, a much loved nana of Graeme, Geoff and Paula and a loving Nana Mary to Kieran and Sophie and a dear sister. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, January 14 at 10.00 a.m. Family flowers only please. GARNER January 7 (quietly with dignity), of Yohden Hall, Blackhall. Thomas Lackenby (Tommy), aged 70 years, a much loved dad of Clive and Tracie, also a devoted grandad and great-grandad. Cortege to leave Yohden Hall on Tuesday for a service at St. Andrew's Church, Blackhall at 11.10 a.m., prior to cremation at Hartlepool Crematorium. GARTHWAITE Jenny (nee Salmons) January 8, (peacefully), at Dorchester Hospital, Dorset at 6.40 a.m. Aged 83 years, formerly of Yewtree Avenue, Shildon. A loving wife of the late Bill and loving mother of Sylvia, Gary and the late Trevor, also a loving sister, nana, great-grandmother and aunt. Ashes to be interred in Shildon West Road Cemetery on January 19, at 2.00 p.m. All welcome afterwards for refreshement in The Civic Hall, Shildon.

Edith (nee Bricklebank), aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of Enid, Margaret and Christine, dearest mother-in-law of Harry, Peter and Tom and a much loved grandma and great-grandma. Cortege leaving 49 Liddle Terrace on Tuesday at 12.05 p.m. Friends please meet at All Saints' Church, Wheatley Hill for service at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Forever Loved

Elizabeth Jane (Jenny), in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy), a dearly loved and treasured mam, mam-in-law, gran, great-gran and sister. Would friends please meet for service in the Salvation Army Citadel, West Cornforth at 2.15 p.m. on Monday, January 12, followed by cremation at Durham.
