ROTHERY Died February 21, peacefully at home with all his family, in Bedale. Brian, aged 69 years, darling husband of Pauline, a much loved father, father-in-law and grandad. Private family funeral will be held at Nab Wood Crematorium.

Margaret, aged 63 years, loving mam of Lynn, David and Susan, dearest mother-in-law of Fred, Sheila and Gary, devoted nanna of John, James, Martin, Lynsey, Nyomi and Jessica, dearly loved great-nanna of Cameron, also a dear sister of James and sister-in-law of Pauline. Friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church on Monday, March 1 at 2.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

SCAIFE February 23 (peacefully), Sheila (nee Willans), aged 68 years. Adored mother of Yvonne, Jacqueline, Wendy and Michelle, much loved mother-in-law, treasured nanna and partner of John. Your strength and dignity will be an inspiration to us always. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, March 1 at 2.45 p.m.

SHIELDS Thomas Hayes (Tom), formerly of Spennymoor, died February 19 at the Royal Chelsea Hospital, London, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Anneliese, beloved brother of Rene, Terry, Evelyn and Audrey and a dearly loved uncle. R.I.P.

SOLAN February 25, of King Street, Spennymoor. Edith Jane (nee Green), aged 75 years, beloved wife of the late John, a dearly loved mother of Michael and James, a loving mother-in-law of the late Kay, a much loved grandmother of Mark, Michael, Sarah, Jack and Kayleigh and a dear sister of Pat. Would friends please meet in St. Charles' Church, Tudhoe Village Tuesday for a service at 12.30 p.m., followed by interment in Rock Road Cemetery.

STEAD February 22 (peacefully, in hospital), of St. John's Road, Pittington. Ned, aged 87 years, beloved husband of Dora, much missed father of Fred and Edward and a dear grandad and great-grandad. STEAD On February 24, peacefully at Belmont Grange Nursing Home (formerly of Hampshire Road, Belmont). Rose Ida, aged 95 years, dearly loved mother of Joan and the late Robert, loving and special gran and great-gran to Susan, Julie, Nicola, Emma and Eleanor. Would friends kindly meet at Carrville Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 2 at 12.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

STEVENS Paul (Stiv), aged 33 years, tragically on February 17, of Bowes Road, Newton Aycliffe. Devoted husband and best friend of Shelley, loving and adored dad of Ben, treasured and loved son, brother, uncle and friend of Betty, Dave, Marie, Geoff, Becky and Kirsty. Funeral service to be held in St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe on Friday, February 27 at 9.45 a.m.
STEVENS Our only son Paul February 17, suddenly, beloved only son of Cec and Dorothy. Inseparable brother of Julie, uncle of Daniel and Kelly. The memories we have will stay with us forever.

TEASDALE February 24 (peacefully at home, after a long illness bravely borne), of Spennymoor. Mark, aged 76 years, a devoted husband of Mary, a precious dad of Maria, loving father-in-law of David, a much loved grandad of Isobel and Joseph, a dearly loved brother of Ann and brother-in-law to Mary and Rose and a dear uncle and cousin. Would friends please meet in St. Charles' Church, Tudhoe Village Tuesday for a Requiem Mass at 10.00 a.m., followed by private committal at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request. R.I.P

WALBRIDGE Janet nee Barker in Jersey on February 22, age 49 after an illness very bravely borne. Beloved husband Martin and a devoted mum of Laura. A dearly loved daughter of Vair Barker (Romanby) and the late Sidney of Welbury, also a loving sister of Marjorie, Michael and John, a sister in law of Brian, Joan and Val. Will be cremated in Jersey March 1. A short remembrance service at Welbury Church Thursday March 4, at 10.30am. Donations if desired, Cancer Research.

WARD Harry On February 23, aged 65 years, of Leyburn Road, Darlington, a loving and much loved husband of Barbara, devoted father of Tracy and Mark, also a loved grandad, father-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral to take place on Wednesday, March 3 at 10.15 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, North Road, followed by private cremation.

WATSON (nee Duffy) February 23 (suddenly, at home), of Darlington, formerly of Seaham. Teresa, aged 52 years, treasured mam of Michael, loving mother-in-law of Louise, beloved gran of Jack, loving sister of Rosemary, Michael and Patrick and a much loved auntie. ABBOTT Beryl Irene, aged 82 years, formerly of Thirsk, died peacefully at Bedale Grange Nursing Home, Bedale on February 27. Beloved wife of the late George and dear sister to Blanche Margaret (Peggy) Smith. Norman, aged 81 years, loving husband of the late Winifred, dearly loved dad, father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad, brother and uncle.
