Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Bishop Auckland General Hospital.

WAINE March 13, died peacefully at Rydal Care Home. Connie, formerly Carter of Startforth and Barnard Castle, loving mother of Roy, Fay, Stan, Tony, Sandra, Bill, June and the late Gerry, also nana and grandma to all. Sadly missed by all family and friends. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday, March 18 at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given in chapel to the Alzheimer's Society. The family invite everyone attending the service to the Montalbo Hotel afterwards for refreshments.

WALTON March 16 (suddenly in hospital), of Leekworth Gardens, Middleton-in-Teesdale. Maurice William (Willie), aged 84 years, beloved husband of the late Eleanor, a much loved father of Pearl and grandad of the late Gary. Would family and friends please meet for the Farewell Service to celebrate the life of Willie, Wednesday, March 24 at the Methodist Chapel, Middleton-in-Teesdale at 12.00 noon. Donations may be left at the chapel for chapel funds.

WANDLESS March 16 (suddenly), of Brandon. Kenny, aged 71 years, beloved brother and brother-in-law of David and Kathleen and the late George and Jean, also a much loved uncle. Funeral Friday. Hilda, in her 100th year, dearly loved wife of the late Harry (Butcher), very dear mother of Jeffrey, Dorothy and Gerald, a much loved mother-in-law, nanna and great-nanna. Funeral service to be held at St. Matthew's Church, Leyburn on Monday, March 22 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment at Leyburn Cemetery. Robert (Bob), aged 72 years, dearly loved husband of Edna, a dear dad of Lynn, David and Janet, also a devoted grandad and great-grandad. Funeral Wednesday, March 24. Peter Dawson, aged 66 years, of Bedale, beloved husband of Edna, dear father of Andrew, Paul and Philip, daughters-in-law Kay and Rebecca. Beloved wife of the late Joe, loving mam of Lisa and partner David, devoted nana of Ann-Marie and Rachal, also a dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and good friend to all who knew her.
