Dorothy Freda, aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Robert Arthur (Bob), a dear mother of Robina and David and mother-in-law to Gerald and Maureen, a loved gran of Sarah, Eleanor (granddaughter number two), John, Teri and David and great-gran of little Chloe. A private funeral will take place quietly on Thursday, March 25. Gone are the days we used to share but in my heart you will always be there. Your Loving Sister-in-law Freda

Vincent, aged 83 years, beloved husband of the late Eileen, devoted dad of Allan and Fennis, stepfather of Moira and Winsome, also a dearly loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Doris, aged 93 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Edward (Ted), also a much loved and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Cortege to leave her daughter's residence, Bishop Auckland at 11.15 a.m. on Friday, March 26. STONEHOUSE On March 18, peacefully in hospital, formerly of Hartburn and Osmotherley. Dorothy (Dot), aged 87 years, dearly loved wife of the late Alex, loving mother of Anne, dear grandmother of Simon, Emma and Kate and loved Gran Dot of great-grandchildren Georgia, Daisy, William, Lily, Henry, Annabell, Max and Ted. Funeral service and cremation to be held in St. Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium 11.00 a.m. Friday, March 26. Will be sadly missed by family and friends.

THOMAS (Durham City) James Sinclair Thomas, retired Geophysicist, aged 77 years, died peacefully in hospital on March 21. Dearly loved husband of the late Sylvia, loving father to Christine, Toby and David and devoted grandfather to Alex and James. YOUNG March 17, suddenly at home, of Darlington. Dave, aged 55 years, much loved dad of Stephen and Samantha, loving grandad of Aaron and Lily and will be sadly missed by all his family. Funeral Friday. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m.

ANDERSON Vera (nee Tulip), formerly of Crook, sadly died March 16. At rest now and suffering no longer. Loved and missed by Nigel, Beverley and Lindsay, her grandchildren Charlotte, Bethan, Rory, Rhys, Sian and Emily, a much loved sister to Terry, Isabel and Lynn and mum-in-law to Terry, Neil and Dawn. Missed by all her friends and family. Mum will be coming home to be near her family to rest in peace.

Mary, aged 90 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Albert Newton, a loving mother of Albert, Doreen, Marie and the late Victor, a dear mother-in-law and also a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother. BODDY Winifred Dorothy (Win), aged 90 years, wife of the late John Emmerson Boddy, died peacefully on Sunday, March 28 at the Darlington Manor Residential Home, having previously lived in Lansdowne Street. She was a devoted and loving mother of Les and Ken, mother-in-law of Maeve and Glad, grandma of Christiane and Tim and of Karon, Mark and Andrew and great-grandma of nine great-grandchildren. She was loved dearly by all her family and by many friends. The funeral service is to take place at the Darlington Crematorium on Wednes-day, April 7 at 11.45 a.m. Flowers from immediate family only please. Donations to the Darlington Manor Residents' Fund would be welcomed. The family wish to thank all the staff at Darlington Manor for their care and support over the last seven years.
