Funeral service to be held in All Saints' Church, Yafforth 2.00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, followed by interment. Flowers or donations if wished, for St. Teresa's Hospice.

IRVING April 15 (peacefully, in her sleep), of Pear Lea, Brandon. Mary, aged 84 years, surrounded by her son John and daughter-in-law Violet, much loved mother of John and the late George, David and Keith, loving nana of Lynn, Kay, Lisa and Gary and a dearly loved great-nana of Anthony, Mikela, Natasha, Stacy, Ryan and Caitlin. Friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 21, at 2.15 p.m. followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given after the service for the MacMillan Cancer Relief Fund. Good night and God Bless mam R.I.P.

JACKSON On April 4 (suddenly in hospital), of 5 Banks Terrace, Hurworth Place, near Darlington and formerly of High Spelderbanks Farm, Masham. Peter, aged 78 years, loving husband of Katherine, dear dad of Michael and Susan and a devoted grandad. The funeral service has been held at St. Peter's Church, Croft, prior to interment at Croft Cemetery.

JOHNSON April 11, suddenly at home, of Newton Aycliffe. Joe, aged 77 years, beloved husband of Janet and a much loved brother. Funeral Monday, April 19. Would friends please meet 10.45 a.m. for service and committal at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only.

George, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Ethel, devoted dad of Jean and Joan, dear father-in-law to Michael and Dave, much loved granda to Michael, Craig, Steven and Clare, also loving great-granda to Gemma, Lauren and Abbie, also dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Witton Park at 10.00 a.m., on Friday, April 16, followed by cremation at Durham.

Margaret (nee Henderson), of Barnard Castle, dearly loved wife of Raymond, beautiful mother of Sara, cousin of Evelyn, dear sister-in-law of Freda, Audrey and Walter and dear aunt of Michael and Colette. Sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Jack, aged 79 years, dearly beloved husband of the late Monica, treasured dad of Pamela, Carol and Alison, much loved grandad of Melanie, Helen, Catherine, Steven, Christine, Robert, Hillary, Jack, David and Peter. Proud great-grandad of Naomi and Stella, dear brother of Peggy, Nancy, Dorothy and Connie. John Edward (Ted), aged 87 years, beloved husband of Eva, loving father of Patricia and Angela, a dearly loved brother, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. The funeral service will be held at St. Oswald's Church, Sowerby on Wednesday, April 21 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment.
