Walter, aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Irene, much loved father of Walter, Irene and Brian, devoted father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad and brother. Funeral to take place on Friday. Friends please meet at St. Laurence's Church, Pittington, for service at 12.30 p.m., prior to interment in Hallgarth Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu to St. Laurence's Church.

RAWLE Edward (Eddie), aged 69 years, of Toft Hill, Bishop Auckland, died in hospital on April 6, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved husband of Anne, much loved dad of Lyndsey and dear friend to Chris. Funeral service at Etherley Methodist Church on Thursday, April 15 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only, if desired, donations may be given in church for the Butterwick Hospice, Bishop Auckland.

RICHARDSON Hannah (nee Hodson) Suddenly on April 8, of 69 Milbank Terrace, Shotton. Hannah, aged 80 years, a dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tot), loving mother of Ann, Brian and Lesley, a dear mother-in-law of Lawrence, a devoted grandma of Faye and Lori-Beth and also a dear sister and sister-in-law. Interment Shotton Churchyard on Thursday. Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at St. Saviour's Church at 2.00 p.m.

RIDER April 12 (in hospital). Ivy, aged 88 years, dear wife of the late Fred, loving mother of Eric, mother-in-law of Dorothy and nana to Mandy and Sara. Funeral Friday 1.30 p.m. at All Saints' Church, Northallerton, followed by interment. Family flowers only.

ROBINSON April 11 (in hospital), of 18 Rutherford Terrace, Ferryhill. Jimmy, aged 65 years. Dearly loved son of the late Sarah Carman, beloved brother of Terry, loving brother-in-law of Pauline and a devoted uncle of Zara. Cortege leaving residence at 12.00 noon on Monday, April 19, for a service in The Salvation Army Citadel, West Cornforth at 12.15 p.m. followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Goodbye our bairn, love you always.

ROBINSON April 11, in hospital, of Buckden Court, Darlington. John, aged 77 years, dearly loved husband of Marjorie, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Audrey (nee Armstrong), aged 79 years, beloved wife of Jack and loving mother of the late Kenneth, a loving mother-in-law of Sue and family, also a dear sister of Dennis. Funeral Friday, April 16. Friends please meet at 1.30 p.m. for service in Shildon Methodist Church, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery.

SAVILLE April 13, of Hamilton Row, Waterhouses. Richard Vernon (Dick), aged 72 years, beloved son of the late Tom and Daisy, brother of the late Norman and Ernest, a dear uncle and great-uncle and friend to many. Cortege to leave residence on Tuesday, April 20 at 2.05 p.m. for service in St. Paul's Church, Waterhouses at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Bus provided. Family flowers only please. Joe, aged 70 years, dearly loved husband of Ruby, much missed father to Pat and Peter, a beloved grandfather of Kelly, Alex and Leanne and a dearly loved great-grandad. SHAW April 10, in hospital after a long illness of Galveston, Texas. John, aged 63 years, Captain in Merchant Navy (late of Hunwick). A dearly loved husband and best friend of Gwen (Needham), much loved dad of Mark, loving brother of Margaret, dear brother-in-law to Tom and Marion and a dear uncle. Always remembered and sadly missed.
