Beloved wife of the late Gordon, beloved mam of Tony, Carol and Kevin and a treasured and much loved nanna of Vickie, Emma and Richard. Funeral Tuesday, May 4. Friends please meet for service in St. John's Church at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation.

HALL April 25 (suddenly), of Dean Road, Ferryhill. Stephen (Dick), aged 82 years, loving brother of Jack, Kitty and the late Irene, Belle and George and also a dear uncle. Would friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m.

HARRIS April 22, died peacefully at home, of Raylene, Whorlton, near Barnard Castle (formerly of Norton). Ann Mac-donald, aged 63 years, greatly missed by husband Norman, daughters Catherine and Janet and cherished grandson John. Would family and friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Whorlton on Friday, April 30 at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations if desired to North East Air Ambulance are being accepted by John Wise Funeral Service, 16 Stainton Village, Barnard Castle, Co Durham DL12 8RB.

HARTLEY April 25 (peacefully, at the home of her daughter), of Hambledon Place, Peterlee. Irene (nee White), aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late George Henry, much missed moher of George, Thelma and Irene, mother-in-law of Walter and Averil and a dear nana to Kim, Dawn, Mark and Kristian and great-grandma of Jade and Ben, also auntie to Geoffrey and Liz. Would family and friends please meet for service at Hartlepool Crematorium on Tuesday, May 4, at 11.00 a.m.

Agnes Mary (Ance) aged 94 years, beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of Sheila and Lesley, mother-in-law of Vernon and the late Reg, loving grandmother of Susan, Carole, Joanne, Nick and Rebecca and partners Jason, Nigel and George and great-grandmother of Harriet, Alex and Amelia. Funeral Wednesday. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 11.15 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be left at the service for Cancer Research UK.

JAMES April 20 (peacefully), in Leeds General Infir-mary. Joseph Foster James, aged 96 years, formerly of 28 Cobden Street, Darlington and 1 St. Paul's Terrace, Stockton; much loved and much missed father and father-in-law of Joe and Joy, Harry and Anne and Kathleen and Brian.

JEFFERIES April 26, of Bensham Road, Darlington. James Edward, aged 71 years. Funeral Thursday, May 6. Marjery (nee Owens), aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Sidney, dearly loved mother of Valerie, Anne and Barry, sons-in-law Allan and Alan, also a much loved nana and great-nana. Funeral Wednesday, May 5. Would friends please meet at 1.10 p.m. for service in St. Michael's Church, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Cancer Research.

KELL April 29 (peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family), of West Cornforth. John James (Nip), aged 86 years, beloved husband of the late Dorothy, a dearly loved dad of Margaret, Doreen, Christine, Pauline, Shirley and David, a loving father-in-law and a much loved granda and great-granda and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Would friends please meet in Holy Trinity Church, West Cornforth Wednesday for a service at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in the Churchyard.

KENT Cyril David April 22, passed away peacefully after a very short illness, in York District Hospital, surrounded by his very loving family. Cyril, aged 86 years, of Sheriff Hutton, near York, a Dales Artist, formerly of Thornton Rust, Wensley-dale. Remembered forever by Pat, Sue, Bob and Pete and grandchildren Claire, Marcus, Emily and Freyja. Private family Humanist cremation in York. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Ward 23, York District Hospital, Wigginton Road, York, YO31 8HE.

KINGSBURY Irene (nee McLennan) Irene passed away on September 7, 2003 in Colorado Springs, USA. A Memorial Service is being held for Irene in St Wilfred's Church, Bishop Auckland on May 1 at 12.30pm. All friends welcome.
