Lucy, aged 78 years, loving wife of Terry, devoted mam of Sheila, Maureen, Stephen, Vincent, Martin and Andrew, a caring grandma and great-grandma, also a wonderful mother-in-law. Will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet for service at St. Bede's R.C. Church, Newton Hall on Wednesday, May 26 at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium 11.00 a.m.

McNULTY May 13, of Emerson Road, Hurworth. Stanley Anthony (Mac), aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Marjorie, much loved father of Tony, Chris, Ann, Paul and Karen, loving grandad of Angela, Melanie, Michael, Ben and Sarah and great-grandad of Chloe. Funeral Thurs day. Friends please meet for service in All Saint's Church, Hurworth at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment.

MORRIS Hilda, on May 17, in Acorn Grange, West Cornforth (formerly of Coxhoe). Now at peace. Dearly loved mother of Gail and Denise, mother-in-law of Rich-ard, grandmother of Ian, Angela and Gary, great-grandmother of Sophie, Ellis, Nathan, Kurt and Alex, aunty of Norma, also remembered by Keith and Chris. Would friends please meet for service at 3.30 p.m. on Friday at Durham Crematorium Chapel. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to the Alzheimers Disease Society.

MOUNTER On May 20, of Sunnybrow. Kenny, darling husband of Christine, loving brother of Molly, dearly loved stepdad and uncle, also a friend to many. MURPHY (Carrville) May 16 (suddenly). Catherine Patricia (Cathie), beloved wife of the late Harry (Jock) Murphy and sadly missed by Sylvia, Maureen, Paul and all family and friends. Funeral to take place on Friday, May 21. Will friends please meet for service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Belmont at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in Belmont Cemetery. Family flowers only please, by request. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to St. Cuthbert's Hospice, Parkhouse Road, Merryoaks, Durham DH1 3QF.

NUNN Ruth Naomi, aged 82 years, suddenly, on May 15, of Catterick Garrison. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Charles and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, May 24 at 1.45 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Flowers welcome, or if preferred, donations for Ward 4, Friarage Hospital, may be given at the crematorium.

OAKES May 19, of Salters Drive, Fishburn. Catherine Ann (Katie), aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tot), dearest mam of Eileen, Winnie, Terry and Little Eileen and also a dear mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Will friends please meet for service at Fishburn Methodist Chapel on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

ORTON May 16, suddenly, of Bishop Auckland. Barbara Joan, aged 71 years, beloved wife of Alfred, dearly loved mam of Lesley and Lee, dear mother-in-law to Stephen and Helen, loving grandma to Kirsty and Siobhan, also a treasured daughter of Margaret and the late Wilfred Clarke. Will friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m. on Monday, May 24. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left at the crematorium or with the family for the Macmillan Trust.

PARKER (Heddon on the Wall) May 18, 2004, in the Hollies at the Pinewoods Nursing Home, Winlaton. Rosella (nee Blackett) aged 85 years, beloved wife of George, a much loved mother of David, Cynthia and Ian, mother-in-law of Carole, Ian and Lesley, also a much loved grand-mother. Would friends please meet for service in St. Patrick's Church, High Spen on Tuesday, May 25 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in Hookergate Cemetery.

PATTISON May 13 (peacefully in hospital), formerly of St. Mary's Walk, Thirsk. Margaret Doreen (Peggy), aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late William (Bill), dearly loved mother of Margaret and Robert, mother-in-law of David and Pauline and grandmother of Catherine and Christopher. The funeral service will be held at All Saints' Church, Pickhill on Thursday, May 20 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Rutson Hospital, Northallerton.

PEADON May 20, peacefully at his daughter's home in Kent. Edward, dear husband of the late Susan (nee Gibson), formerly of Maria Drive, Stockton, beloved father of Winnie, Gwenda and Marianne.
