Dearly loved husband of Hazel, much loved dad of John and the late Ian, father-in-law of Denise, also a devoted grandad of James and Peter. Funeral to take place on Friday. Would friends please meet at St. Cuthbert's Church, Peterlee at 2.00 p.m. prior to cremation at Sunderland cremator ium. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu to St. Cuthbert's church.

DINSDALE May 8 (peacefully at home), of High West Road, Crook. Ernest (Ernie), devoted husband of Marjorie, loving dad of John and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Would friends please meet for service in Bridge End Methodist Church, Frosterley on Thursday, May 13 at 10.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. DIXON Edgar, retired Public Health Officer and Surveyor, of Barnard Castle on May 12, in hospital, aged 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Mary (nee Alderson), brother of Olive, Doreen and Wilfred, father of Angus, Maureen, Ian, Pat, Adrian and families, a much loved brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Cremation at Darlington will take place at 10.45 a.m. Friday, May 21, followed by a Thanksgiving Service at Barnard Castle United Reformed Church at 12.15 p.m. Family flowers only please.
