SIMPSON Died on May 12, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Bedale Grange Nursing Home. Betty, aged 94 years, dearly loved wife of the late Harry, devoted mother to Joy, Cath, Ben and the late Colin, also a dear grandmother and great-grandmother. A service of thanksgiving for her life to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Monday, May 17, at 12.00 noon, followed by interment. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to be shared between St. Gregory's Church and The Children's Ward at The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.

Reunited with her beloved husband Herbert, loving mam of Ann, Malcolm, Trev, Peter, Chris and Chris, devoted nana of Darren, Lee, Tom and Jennie, great-nana of Ryan, Aidan and Ethan, also a dear sister. Funeral Wednesday. Would friends kindly meet for service in St. Laurence's Church, Middleton St. George at 1.15 p.m. followed by interment West Cemetery, Darlington. STAVELEY May 9, peacefully after a short illness. Wilfred, beloved husband of Sybil, devoted father of John and Philip and doting grandfather. Michael, aged 74 years, a dearly loved husband of Margaret, a devoted father of Michael, Michele, Melanie and Melvyn and a dear father-in-law to Christine, Christopher, Kevin and Michelle, also a much loved grandad of Michael, Kelly Anne, Andrea, Martin, Kirsty, Kimberley, Kevin, Richard and Michael, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Cremation Tuesday, May 18 at Durham. Cortege leaving residence at 10.50 a.m. for a service in St. Anne's Church, Bishop Auckland at 11.00 a.m. Friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be left with the family to be split equally between the District Nurses of Bishopgate Surgery and the Butterwick Hospice, Woodhouse Lane, Bishop Auckland. Refreshments will be provided after the service, at Bishop Auckland Cricket Club.

Peter and Mary Thomas, sister to Margaret, Heather, Brenda, Paul, Stephen and Andrew and a dearly loved aunty and a dear friend to all at The Dexters. Funeral service will take place on Friday, May 14 in St. Thomas' Church, Lowther Street, York at 2.15 p.m., followed by committal at York Crematorium. Flowers may be sent to J. ARMSTRONG Robert (Bobby) Aged 79 years. A dearly beloved brother of Ened and her son Gareth. passed away peacefully at their home on Tuesday June 15, of 31 Dixon Estate, Shotton. A loving brother of Molly, Christine, Freda, Frank, Joy, Wendy and the late Florence, Billy, Janice and Roger, also a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.
