Funeral Friday. Friends please meet for service in St. Augustine's Church, at 1.45 p.m., followed by interment at West Cemetery.

CLACHER June 13 (peacefully in St. Helen's Nursing Home), formerly of Spennymoor. Bessie, aged 94 years, a dearly loved mam of Ian. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor, Tuesday, for a service at 12.15 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.

CLARK (Sedgefield) Alma, died peacefully, following an illness endured with dignity and a sense of humour. Dearly loved by her late husband George and much loved and missed by her children Alison, Alan and Bill, son and daughter-in-law John and Dawn, grandchildren Katie, Caroline and James and sisters Leo and Margaret, kindly remembered by John and Jamie. Charles (Charlie), aged 89 years, much loved husband of the late Violet, a dear father of Lorna and Sheila, also a devoted grandad and great-grandad. Service in St. Mary's Church, Shincliffe Village at 12.30 p.m. on Friday, followed by burial in the Churchyard. Will friends please meet at Church.

FORSTER June 12 (peacefully, in Weardale Community Hospital), of Stanhope Road, Wolsingham. Maurice Walton, aged 76 years, dearly loved husband of Terry, loving dad of Geoffrey and Pamela, dear father-in-law of Adele, loving grandad of Emma and Sally and a friend to many. A private family service to be held at Durham Crematorium, followed by a Memorial Service at Wolsingham Methodist Chapel on Thursday, June 17 at 11.45 a.m. Friends please meet at the Chapel. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Trust Fund, Weardale Community Hospital, Stanhope.

GARBUTT June 11 (peacefully, at home) in Tansley Gardens, Darlington. Jim, aged 81 years. Leaving his much loved wife of over sixty years Peggy, sadly missed by his son Paul, daughter Margaret, daughter-in-law Sheila and son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Jonathan and Lucy, his sister Dot and Olive, sisters-in-law Maureen and Wynne and her husband Ron, his nieces and so many family and friends. Supported by the care of the District Nurses, The Palliative Care team, St. Teresa's Hospice sitters and Doctor Charlton. He was able to be at home where he wanted to be. Would friends please meet Thursday June 17, at 1.45 p.m. for Requiem Mass at St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Darlington followed by interment in the West Cemetery, Darlington. Family flowers only please. Donations welcome to, St. Teresa's Hospice.

Shaun, aged 28 years, a very much loved husband of Amanda, dearest brother of Carl and Leona, a beloved son of Sandra and the late Mally, also a loving uncle. Would friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, June 22, followed by interment in Bowburn Cemetery.

Malcolm (Mally), aged 48 years, a loving dad of Carl, Leona and the late Shaun, father-in-law of Amanda and Leanne, a devoted grandad, loved son of Peggy and the late Duggie, also a dear brother of Stuart, Keith and Sheila. Would friends please meet for service in St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, June 22, followed by interment in Bowburn Cemetery.

GOUNDRY In hospital, on June 9, of 54 Kepier Crescent, Gilesgate. Leslie Hauxwell, aged 81 years, beloved husband of Edith and a much loved father, grandfather and father-in-law. Would friends please meet for service in St. Giles' Church, on Wednesday, June 16, at 11.15 a.m., cremation at Durham to follow.

HALL Ann, June 9, 2004, aged 59, suddenly at her home in Edinburgh, formerly of Bishop Auckland. Loving wife of David, devoted mother to Richard, eldest daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Mullier. A much loved sister to Alan and Elsie.

HARPE David Ian Died May 25, 2004. To the brother I had, to the brother I lost, to the brother I hoped I would find, to the father of five, to the rascal with a smile, I know Heaven will treat you kind. With love to you David, your brother Paul.

HETHERINGTON Ashbrooke, Sunderland June 12, suddenly, in hospital. David John, aged 16 years, the precious and beloved son of Paul and Helen and dear step son of Tanya, a very much loved brother of Daniel and step brother of Daniel, treasured grandson of Veronica, Don and Alan, Agnes and the late Michael, loving nephew of Cal and Bruce, Jane, Rita, Ruth and Lorna. Would friends please meet at the Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Farringdon on Monday, June 21 at 12.30 p.m. were a Mass of the Resurrection will be offered, prior to interment at Durham Cemetery. Cortege leaving residence of her daughter, Broomside, Ferryhill at 10.05 a.m. on Thursday, June 17 for a service in the Village Methodist Church at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Bill (retired Deputy Chief Constable), aged 97 years, dearly loved husband of the late Jean, father of Maureen, Judith, Peter and the late Kathleen, also a dear grandad, great-grandad and father-in-law.
