Funeral service and interment to be held at All Saints' Church, Pickhill on Tuesday, June 29 at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Yorkshire Cancer Care at Harrogate and Kidney Patient's Association, L.G.I. at Leeds.

NEASHAM John On June 18, suddenly at home, John, aged 80 years, of the Trimdons. Son of the late Jack and Isabella and loved by all the family. Funeral service and cremation to take place on Thursday, June 24 at Durham Crematorium at 10.30 a.m. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Sedgefield Community Hospital. Friends please meet at the crematorium.

NEWTON Temp Newton, of Texas, USA (formerly of Spennymoor), died suddenly on June 18. Much loved husband of Yvonne, dad of Barbara and Julie and grandfather. Sadly missed by all the family.

NOBLE Basil Peacefully on June 22, in his 91st year, of Darlington. Husband of Leila Joan, father of Barbara and Christopher, father-in-law of Brian and Catherine, grandfather of Matilda and Benjamin. Retired chartered surveyor, Rotarian, campaigner, magician and old soldier. Funeral service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Darlington on Monday, July 5 at 10.45 a.m. Family flowers only. OFFORD William (Bill) on May 31, 2004 at Scarborough Hospital aged 74 years. The much loved husband of Marianne and brother of Kathleen. Gone but never forgotten.

Michael Paul, aged 49 years, beloved son of Maureen and the late George, dearly loved dad of Steven and Emma, also a much loved brother. Cortege leaving 33 Jasmine Crescent, Trimdon Village on Friday at 9.50 a.m. Friends please meet at St. William's R.C. Church for Requiem Mass at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment at Trimdon Grange Cemetery.

PIRT June 22 (in hospital), of 7 Bowness Grove, Ferryhill. George T. Pirt, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Sylvia and a dear dad of Geoffrey, David and Brian, also much loved father-in-law and grandfather. Cortege leaving residence at 9.30 a.m. on Monday June 28, for service and cremation at Durham crematorium at 10.00 a.m. followed by refreshments at Ferryhill W.M.C.

James Middleton, aged 85 years, dearly loved husband of Eva, much loved father of Valerie and son-in-law John, devoted grandad of Henry and Katharine. READSHAW June 20, peacefully, at home with her family at her side, after a long illness fought with courage and dignity. Catherine, aged 10 years, beloved daughter of Iain and Marie, a loving and loved sister of Nicole and Rachel and the late Anne-Marie and Daniel, a cherished granddaughter, niece and cousin. Greatly loved and mourned by all. A Requiem Mass for Catherine will be held in All Saints' R.C. Church, Ferryhill on Saturday at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in Chilton Cemetery. R.I.P

Norman, aged 83 years, beloved husband of Margaret, dearly loved dad of David, Patricia and Susan, much loved father-in-law of Jane and Alan, loving grandad of Jennifer, Catherine and Amy, dear brother of Olive and brother-in-law of the late Sonnie and uncle of Angela and Steven. Dearly loved wife of the late Wg Cdr William Skinner, much loved mother of James and Andrew, dear mother-in-law of Susan and loving granny of Peter and Helen. Ian (Spugy), aged 52 years, beloved partner of June, loving father of Helen, Anthony and Shaun, devoted son of Gladys and the late Wallace, also a dear father-in-law and grandad.
