DUNN Ronald Of New Road, Bilsthorpe, Newark, Nottinghamshire, (formerly of Coxhoe, County Durham). Died July 21, 2004, aged 73 years. EMMERSON July 19, suddenly whilst on holiday. Ronnie, aged 69 years, of Crook, beloved husband of Mary, devoted dad of Trevor, Jeffrey, Kevin and Yvonne, a dear father-in-law, a much loved and loving granda and great-granda, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, July 27. Family flowers only. Donations to HeartSWell Lodge, Plymouth may be left at the Crematorium.

FREEMAN July 19, at home, Norah (nee Gallagher), aged 69, (36 to those who knew her), of Ferryhill, after fighting an illness with great courage, dignity, determination and humour. Beloved wife of the late Owen Patrick and special sister of the late Audrey and Frank. A much loved and loving mother to Peter, Elaine, Nigel, Emma, Marcia and Philip. A treasured grandma to Marcus, Jason, (her little box egg), Elisha, Carter and Alfie. She will be deeply missed by family and many friends. Cortege leaving Norah's residence, Friday July 23, at 10.30am. Friends please meet at Ferryhill Methodist Church for service at 10.45am, followed by cremation at Durham. Norah's family would like to invite all friends afterwards to the Manor House, Ferryhill for refreshments to celebrate Norah's life. Veronica (nee Melia), aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy) and a much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and mother-in-law. Will be sadly missed. Friends please meet for service in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Gilesgate on Wednesday, July 28 at 11.00 a.m. Private interment to follow in South Road Cemetery.
