HOPE July 27 (peacefully in hospital), of Rosewood Grange, Chilton. Minnie, aged 95 years, a dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, also a dear sister. Service to be held in Windlestone Methodist Church at 2.45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, followed by cremation at Durham. Would friends please meet at church.

HORNER William (Bill), aged 69 years, of Scorton, died suddenly at home on July 28. Dearly loved husband of Ann, much loved father of David, dear father-in-law of Suzanne and a devoted grandad of Charlotte, Thomas and Josephine. Funeral service in St. Mary's Church, Bolton On Swale on Wednesday, August 4 at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church.

HOWE Margaret (Peggy), aged 76 years, of Cockfield, died peacefully in hospital on July 24. Dearly loved wife of Doug, much loved mam of Susan and son-in-law Martin, a dear sister of Miranda and sister-in-law to Cecil. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, August 2 at 10.45 a.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, may be given at the crematorium for the British Lung Foundation.

Ronnie, aged 48 years, loving dad of Elizabeth and Samantha, beloved son of the late George and Joyce, devoted partner of Carol, also a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Will friends please meet for service in Shildon Methodist Church at 12.00 noon on Monday, August 2, followed by cremation at Durham.

Beloved wife of Joseph (Joe), devoted mam of Paul, Judith and Donna, much loved and loving nana of John, Leigh, Karley and Christopher, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Evenwood at 9.20 a.m. on Friday, July 30, followed by cremation at Darlington.

LORRIMAN On July 24 (peacefully in hospital, after a short illness bravely borne), of Grange Farm Cottage, West Burton, Wensleydale and formerly of Bardsey and Castleford. Ken, aged 75 years, deeply loved husband of Joan, very dear brother of Roy, John and David, much loved brother-in-law of Margaret and Eddie and Sylvia and a dear uncle. Funeral service and committal to be held at St. Matthew's Church, Leyburn on Friday, July 30 at 1.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. No flowers by request. However, donations in memory of Ken may be given for St. Matthew's Church Funds and the Friends of the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton for which a plate will be present at the service or c/o Sanderson and Co., Funeral Directors, St. Matthew's Works, Leyburn, North Yorks., DL8 5EG. Will friends please meet at the church.

LUCAS On July 26, peacefully in Darlington Memorial Hospital. Hester, aged 89 years, loving wife of the late Fred (Paul), much loved mother of Anne and Fred, mother-in-law of Maureen and the late Brian, loving granny to Maryanne, Debbie, Kathryn, Carol, Joanne and Alison and to six great-grandchildren, also special friend of Rosina and loving aunty to Sadie, Joan and Arthur. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 3 at 1.15 p.m., at Darlington Crematorium. Friends invited. Please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only. MAHER Margaret (nee Clement) July 24, of Welling-borough, formerly of Darlington. Margaret, died peacefully at home after fighting an illness with great courage, dignity and humour. Beloved daughter of Hilda and the late Alan, dearest sister of Alan, Jennie, Ron, Charlie, George, Patricia, Hazel, Rose and Beryl and cherished aunt to many. Funeral to take place Thursday, August 5 at United Reformed Church, High Street, Wellingborough. Rest In Peace Free From Pain
