Mary Louisa, aged 59 years, beloved youngest child of the late William and Grace and dear sister of Ann, John and Christopher. Would friends please meet for funeral service at St. Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle on Monday, August 2 at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. Family flowers only please. William (Bill), dear husband of Ann, loving father of Karl, Trish, Simon and the late Andrew, stepfather of Colin, Ann Marie and William, dear brother of Iris and Phillip, grandad and great-grandad and a good friend to all. WALKER July 25, of Willington. Fred, aged 80 years, beloved husband of the late Connie, loving father of Brett and Dale, dear father-in-law of June and Gillian. Funeral Thursday. Friends please meet for service in All Saints' Church, Hurworth, at 12.30 p.m., followed by cremation.

WHARRAM Joan, after a short, sudden illness, of Baldersby, Thirsk, aged 93 years. Cherished wife of the late Geoffrey William, adored and adoring mother of Judy and David, mother-in-law of Kathleen and Ted and equally loved grandmother to Louise, Peter, Claire and Richard and great-grandmother to Jemima, Rufus, Rebecca, Thomas and Lilli, twin daughter of the late William and Emma Dorothy Marriott of Harrogate and twin sister of Marjorie. The funeral service will be held at St. James' Church, Baldersby St. James on Tuesday, August 3 at 12.00 noon, followed by interment. Flowers, or donations may be made to Cancer Research U.K.

WILCOCKSON July 24, of West Auckland. Mary (nee Race), aged 71 years, beloved wife of the late George, devoted mam of Elizabeth, dear mother-in-law to Gordon, a much loved and loving nana of Zöe, Lauren and Greg, also a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Cortege to leave her daughter's residence at 1.05 p.m. on Friday, July 30 for service in St. Helen's Church at 1.15 p.m., followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery.

WRIGHT July 28 (after a long illness bravely borne), of Sherborne Close, Darlington. David Hammond, aged 69 years, much loved husband of Mary, loving dad of Gwynneth and Dave, Sheila and Tony and Maggs, also a devoted grandad. Funeral Monday, August 2. Would friends please meet 11.00 a.m., for service at the West Cemetery Chapel, Darlington, followed by interment in the West Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
