Friends please accept this intimation and meet for service at the crematorium at 2.20 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to Cancer Research, c/o Freda.

DISBERRY July 28, peacefully in Tenlands Nursing Home, Ferryhill. Irene, aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late William (Billy) and loving aunt and great-aunt of Carole Stephenson and family. Service to be held at Durham Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday, August 4 at 10.00 a.m. Would friends please meet at the crematorium.

DOWSON Miriam Formerly of Waldron Street, Bishop Auckland and Oakdene Terrace, Middlestone Moor. passed away in hospital, aged 82 years. Now re-united with Gordon but sadly missed by her loving family. Service to be held in St. Peter's Church, Princes Street, Bishop Auckland at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12. Friends most welcome.

DUCE July 30 (suddenly whilst on holiday), of Jubilee Crescent, Shildon. Barry (Baz), aged 54 years, dearly loved husband of Ann, devoted dad of Suzanne. Will be sadly missed by all of his family and many friends. Funeral particulars to follow.

ELLIOTT Elsie (nee Ogden) July 30, peacefully, aged 86 years, formerly of Blackhall, Co. Durham. Very dear wife of the late Norman, much loved mother of Malcolm and Carole and a loving grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service and cremation will be held in Rawdon, Leeds.

FLINTOFF Thomas (Tommy), aged 91 years, of Winston, died peacefully in hospital on July 27. Dearly loved husband of Jen, much loved dad of Gillian and Pauline, a dear father-in-law, loving grandad, great-grandad and brother. Funeral service in St. Andrew's Church, Winston on Thursday, August 5 at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation. Friends please meet at the church. No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, may be given in church for the Butterwick Hospice and St. Andrew's Church Funds.

FOSTER Denis Peacefully at home, August 2. Much loved husband of Sybil, dearly loved dad of Mike and Chris and grandad of Matt and Vicki. Funeral service took place on Thursday August 5, at Teesside Crematorium.

FRANCIS July 30 (peacefully, at home). Marjorie May, aged 68 years, beloved wife of Roderick, much loved mother of Christopher and Linda and loving grandmother of Kizzy. Funeral service to be held at St. Teresa's Church, Harris Street, on Monday, August 9, at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment at West Cemetery. Flowers from family only please. Donations, in memory, may be made to Darlington Diabetic Association.
FRANCIS Marjorie May On July 30, peacefully at home. Much loved mother and grandmother of Linda and Kizzy. Will be sadly missed. Close to our hearts you will always stay Loved and remembered every day.

GIBSON July 13, of Tenlands Nursing Home, Ferryhill. Ethel, aged 85 years, dearly loved sister of the late Fred. Cortege leaving residence at 12.35 p.m., on Wednesday, August 4 for service in the Village Methodist Church at 12.45 p.m. Friends please meet at church.

GRADY Austin, of Easington Colliery (peacefully, in hospital), on July 31, aged 77 years. Austin, a much loved brother, brother-in-law and cousin. Cortege to leave his sister's residence on Friday, for a Requiem Mass at Our Lady's, Easington Colliery, at 11.00 a.m., prior to an interment at Easington Colliery Cemetery. Friends are kindly invited. Please meet at the church.

GRAHAM On August 2, suddenly at home, of Chester-le-Street, aged 78 years. William (Bill), former Headmaster of Fyndoune Comprehensive School, Sacriston. Dearly beloved husband of Edith (nee Collins), much loved father of Glynn and son-in-law John, dearest grandad of David, Adam, Jack and Charlotte. Friends please meet at Chester-le-Street Methodist Church on Monday, August 9 at 2.45 p.m. for service, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Methodist Church Building Fund. Donations may be made at church.

HAGGATH On July 30, in Beechwood Nursing Home, of Beech Grove, Northallerton. Elmer Raymond (Ray), dearly loved husband of Edith and a very dear uncle. Funeral service to be held in All Saints' Church, 1.45 p.m. Thursday, August 5, prior to cremation.

HANNER Sidney, July 30, aged 76 years, passed away peacefully in Bishop Auckland General Hospital, with his wife Margaret and daughters Alison and Judith at his bedside. He was much loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Thursday. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. HILL On July 30, suddenly but peacefully at home in Hutton Rudby, formerly of Crathorne. William Edward (Eddie), aged 84 years, dearly loved husband of Olive Margaret and loving father of Brian, Gerald and Nicholas and a dear father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service to be held in All Saints' Church, Crathorne 11.00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, followed by interment.

HINTON William Patrick, died suddenly on August 3. 'With the Lord which is far better'. Funeral for family and close friends Thursday, August 12 at 11.00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Swainby. George, aged 83 years, dearly beloved husband of the late Rene, a loving father of Fred and father-in-law of Jenny, also a dear grandad of Alison and Caroline. HORNER William (Bill), aged 69 years, of Scorton, died suddenly at home on July 28. JAMES On July 28 (accidentally at Bicester), of Hamilton Court, Shotton Colliery. Jenny (nee Cockburn), aged 72 years, dearly beloved wife of Dave and a much loved and loving mam to Rita, Wilf and Kevin, dear mam-in-law of Terry, Karen and Angela, also a treasured gran to Gavin, Kyle, Liam, Mark, Stefanie and Samantha. Friends please meet on Thursday at 11.30 a.m. for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium. Bus provided from house. Jenny will be deeply missed by family and many friends.

JARVILL Neville, aged 81 years, of Linton Rise, Catterick Garrison, died suddenly at home on August 1. Dearly loved husband of Vera, much loved dad of Yvonne and Yvette and a loving grandad.
